Absolute SCAMMERS! Stear absolutely clear, I ordered a 100cu.ft scuba tank from this company, which their website clearly shows come with a Thermo Pro valve. They sent the tank with a Thermo K valve, which is not even rated to the pressure of the cylinder (3000psi instead of 3300psi). Upon talking to them on the phone, they say it does not matter what's written on the product page picture, only what's in the product description. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviews about these scammers. I purchased an item with this company Scubas World, but also known as Spearfishing World located in Hialeah Gardens, FL. The item was ordered through Amazon, and was originally not shipped on time. I understand that this is sometimes not their fault, but I messaged them and asked them to cancel the order. They did not cancel the order, but shipped the item anyway. I contacted them again, and asked them why they chose to ship the order, even though I requested cancelation, and their response was that I should just refuse it when it arrived. I refused it when it arrived, six (6) weeks ago, and they have refused on multiple locations to issue me a refund. The item appears to be lost in the mail, and they still refuse to issue me a refund for an item that I never received. They initiated a lost item request on February 23, 2026 after my repeated insistence, which was closed on March 3, 2026. I do not know why it was closed or the results, but that is the last information available according to tracking number USPS 92612903368622541532043628. Their last message to me on March 17, 2026 says "we haven't refused to refund the order. We have not received the returned item, and there's no indication by the courier that the item was being returned to the sender. We suggest that you file a claim with Amazon". This is categorically false, as one can easily see that the the item was being returned simply by looking at the tracking number. Furthermore, if the item is indeed lost in the mail, should it be the policy of a business to punish the customer for lost mail? What were the results of the lost mail inquiry, and why did this business close the request, and not provide an any answer to me. It seems that there response is, it's not our problem, you take it up with Amazon. I will restate this package was refused six (6) weeks ago, so it's clearly lost, yet they refuse to refund my money despite repeated requests. 4/16/2022 I wanted to express my thanks to Scubasworld.com and online store Spearfishingworld.com. Some how I had a feeling due to communication break down with an order I was had. Something got messed up. I was frustrated. Forgetting to it was Easter holiday. At my end no confirmation. This has happened before. Spearfishing World totally took care of me by making sure all my needs were met and them some. For example, Ulices called me first to make sure I was ok with them upgrading me to a carbon fiber instead of an aluminum because that's what was in stock. Then he made sure to call again to update me and ask my permission if they could build the gun up a bit different from what we initially agreed upon. I called and confirmed that the item I needed was in stock. I ordered the item through the web site as directed. I paid $24 for next day delivery because I needed it for a trip. Two days later (after sending emails and leaving messages) I called to try and find out where the package is. I was told they had not mailed the item yet. It was still scheduled to be shipped out in the regular mail(not overnight) This is the worst customer service ever. They have no follow up process to make sure you are taken care of. When I reminded him I needed the item for a trip, his only suggestion was for me to drive to Miami to pick up the item. The reason I paid $24 for shipping was because I'm unable to do that right now. Now the essay, this is why I chose to write a review: I wanted to buy Beuchat brand diving fins which are hard to find in the US but Spearfishing world had them! (this is why you should shop) the shop also had them at a reasonable price so I ordered... when the fins came in I found the fins to be very good quality but run a size larger than expected. (this is why you should buy from them) 1.) the return instructions were included and clear, 2.) JOSE from the shop is mega knowledgeable and helpful, he took the time, found the fins I need in the right size, compared the foot pocket to a known brand/size as a base line, sourced the fin and took care of the transaction over the phone! this is why I impulse bought a second set of fins just to keep this business running and employing tactful people like Jose in the shop. Straight up Crooks!!!! You have no idea of how much this place sucks, listen to me. I bought a wetsuit online it wasn't my size or my first wetsuit I have ever owned. I've been having wetsuits for 20years so I know a thing or two. When I paid a extra $25 for return shipping since there too cheap to offer anyone any. They wouldn't return it or exchange it. I spoke to the owner who sounds like the biggest crook of all! I should have looked at yelp before and saw they have a history of ripping people off online and others like me. Ordered some spare shaft holders online and it took months for the second piece to arrive. When it finally arrived it was some cheap knockoff. Finally got someone on the phone and was told I could return it for a refund, but who has time to repackage an item and ship if back, especially at my expense. Avoid this website altogether! I really wanted to believe that the negative reviews for Spearfishing World belonged to the vocal minority. But I was wrong. On this very page, they offer a Yelp deal ($50 for $75). After calling the store and verifying that I could use the voucher online, I purchased it. However I quickly found out that their online store does not accept them. I called the store and they recommended that I place the order via email, providing my voucher code and the items I wished to purchase. At Chris' instruction, I placed my order on 7/16; I received an email the next day advising they received the order. On 7/23, after receiving no further order status, I requested an update by email. A week later, I've not received any response from the store. I've since cancelled my order and received a refund on my Yelp vouchers. It appears they're not ready for online sales just yet. Super disappointed in the customer service with this company. I was back in the states for a couple of days, visiting from Cabo San Lucas Mexico where I live, and ordered some parts for my spearfishing gun. I did 2 day shipping so they would arrive before I returned to Mexico. Because of a miscommunication on the shipping and timing rules I did not receive my part. However this was not the problem, I sent two emails about receiving the part to ensure it came in before I left and got no response until AFTER i was back in Mexico. The response was simply "there is nothing I can do". I am incredibly disappointed in this customer service, not only did it take multiple messages and days to receive a response but not even a solution or any sympathy that I would not get my part. I will not be using this company again and would not recommend it to anyone if you expect half way decent customer service. If you just have to order a part and have ample time to have it sent you Im sure this company will work just fine. read more

Terrible! Perhaps they are a good shop if you go in, but if you are ordering online go somewhere else. I paid for 1-10 day shipping received my order a month later. When I received my order one item was broken. They would not replace the item unless I paid for the shipping both ways.
