It is located in a warehouse under the Miami Metrorail. They filled the propane tank in a jiffy but when I went in to pay I was astounded by all their cool fishing gear. If you are a salt water fisherman you have to check them out. The name of the business doesn't even hint at the water sportsman paradise that awaits you here. The inside of the warehouse was filled with fishing lures, fishing rods, coolers, ice, filleting knives, line, bags, cleaners, frozen bait and tackle. I was surprised to find all of this great fishing gear underneath the Miami Metrorail. The family running this business were such nice people that I have to give them a shout out. If you need to refill your BBQ propane tank they can do that too. I paid $20 less to fill the tank here than I do in Broward. If you need propane or any salt water fishing gear, come out and support this great business.

The first time I went they were out of medium sized shiners, but after looking at them the smaller ones were good size. I went to the lake and they were great lots of action to them. I probably caught 6-7 bass with them. The next time I went I went early in the AM just when they opened at 6am they had medium sizes in and they did not disappoint in size. My only regret was catching little dinks with them on such a good size shiner. Good guys inside as well easy to talk to and ask question. This will be my go to going forward for live bait. There are some choice fishing spots around the Plantation/Sawgrass/Davie/Weston areas, and this shop is on the way to many of them. I was in town visiting my family and wanted to take my kids fishing, and nothing works better than some live shiners for whatever might be swimming in the lakes and canals of Plantation. I grabbed two kids combos at Walmart and a couple dozen shiners, and we SLAYED the peacocks with a few nearing the 3lb mark. I'm not sure who was having more fun, the kids or me as I helped them land these beasts on the lightest of tackle, including a silly push button Paw Patrol rod with only two eyelets! Like everything, bait has gotten expensive, about $20/dozen, but the smiles on the kids faces and these memories are worth every penny! I am so glad I had the time to make this happen for all of us, and that BJ's was still there to get us what we needed! So if you want to go, this is the spot to stop. Took the defective rod back next day (72 hours after purchase) and asked to trade in for a different non-Daiwa rod. They refused and told me to call Daiwa for a warranty rod. Was actually a fan of JD until this happened. I'm headed back to Crook and Crook for my tackle needs, they sold me a sweet Proteus XH. No more JD for this former customer. Not nice to treat a loyal customer like that! Would have doubled my spend on the replacement rod!

I took my 18' Key West to repair a few items after receiving a quote from another shop. My motor…read morewas getting oil in my water separator and I had a broken plastic fuel vent on the side of the hull. Another shop had quoted $1550 for motor tune up and valve. Turns out the issue was a simple check valve that allowed oil to flow back into the water separator. EC changed out the valve, the separator filter and a new fuel filter and installed a new custom flush mounted vent valve.. Cost a fraction of what the first company was quoting, saved well over $1000 and the boat runs like a top now. So happy I went there for a second opinion they know right away what I needed, had my boat back in 48 hours. 0)
