VOLVÉR can only be compared to that store you stumble upon while on vacation and can only dream about returning. The scents of the candles she burns carry on with you when you leave. Naturally, you see where her name ties in, VOLVÉR, in Spanish means to come back. And when you do return, the owner is always there to welcome you back, with a brilliant smile! Besides being a pioneering young woman in this city and industry, the owner's incredibly detailed and attentive. With plenty of free parking and curated items displayed outside, you instantly get into the shopping vibe before even stepping through the door. The shop is divided into different rooms featuring well-selected items, pants, dresses, shirts, décor, and even Christmas ornaments. There's also a men's section with dress shirts and suits, plus a secluded room with designer clothing that's slightly pricier but definitely worth checking out. What impressed me the most was how clean, organized, and welcoming the whole place feels. The staff is wonderful, and I was delighted to learn that it's a nonprofit organization run by formerly incarcerated individuals, helping support their reintegration into society. On top of that, shopping here promotes sustainable clothing demand and supply. I absolutely love this initiative and look forward to continuing to support them. They help women who have been previously imprisoned get back on their feet. They provide jobs, guidance for resumes and prep them for job interviews.
