I should have looked at Yelp reviews first.... I made the mistake of trying to support a small business rather than purchase directly from Amazon. At the time of my purchase, there was a screen message that if i purchased now, it would be to my house by January 24. Just in time for my vacation. I snapped a screen shot of this- just in case I needed it. Well, low and behold, I get the tracking and it shows January 27 arrival. I send Divers Direct an email pointing out the problem along with the screen shot. Guess what? They accuse me of using ai to generate a fake looking screen shot. Seriously. Great shop with inventory, I ordered a few things including the smallest Tusa mask they recommend, asked for advice from one of the guys there, end up with the wrong thing! Yes! They advised me to purchase the Paragon S and not the Zensee Pro, which is the smallest frame mask that Tusa makes. I called Tusa in Long Beach CA, amazing help from the tech team, they said tusa smallest mask is the Zensee Pro with a small frame, and the Paragon s is a medium to large frame. Paid shipping $38 Now I have to pay shipping to send it back $38 Because I open the box to try the mask on 20% restocking fee of $44 Then I had to pay shipping for them to send me a new smaller mask $38 if I had ordered what I wanted from the beginning the pro and not asked for advice I would not be in this situation. I lost the initial investment of the mask and the shipping, the money is not the issue but the policy is. This business has policys that are in place to support and finalize the sale providing zero support to the customer who paid the price for trusting their sell personnel. They have a great selection of scuba/spearfishing kit and their prices are pretty inline with other shops I've visited in the area. Customer service is of no help - they weren't able to assist with anything I asked. Since they advertise that they price match, I asked if they could price match a few items (including brands they carry) - they said no if they don't have the specific item in stock and have to order it then they wouldn't price match. I also asked for the 10% discount code for new users (what I would think would be a simple ask), they said it's automatically generated, and they aren't able to send me one. They don't have a lot of established scuba package options (you have to build it and pay thousands), prices are higher than most other retailers, and shipping is slow (unless you pay an arm and a leg for expedited shipping). if I didn't have a gift card from them, I wouldn't have bought anything, however, I won't buy from them again. Divers Supply is WAY better (better prices, more selection, helpful customer service that does send you the discount codes available when needed). read more

They stand behind the products they sell, even when they don't have to. I bought the item last fall, and my first dive was 11 months after purchase. The item fell apart mid-dive, which meant I went home with half of what I paid for. I left a review on their site for the item, and they promptly contacted me to make sure I was happy with my purchase, sending me a replacement. Again, this was 11 months after purchase. This company website showed a christmas gift in stock on Dec 14th. I got a email saying it was out of stock on the 17th.... After I called and emailed to complain I needed this for Christmas and could have gone with another company in insure Christmas (someone from their office mentioned they would be getting a shipment the next day and can send out a UPS 2 day delivery) sounds great right????? Dec 24th still no christmas delivery Dec 27th I get a email that the product has been shipped out It's now January 4th and still no delivery..... Dania Beach shop took 10 weeks to service my regulator on an annual inspection... got to say after all they did the right thing by no charging for the service since I had to spend over $100 renting a regulator at the diving centers every time I went diving in this period... The person that help my her name is Cyndi I can't even found the words to describe what a great person she is explain to me how I should have my wet suit not baggie so water wont go in it my scubapro she make sure it fit good when over different regulators things I don't know and that you want to be able not to just feel like they want to meet a sale but they care enough about what they do they take pride on themself to have the patience and pass a knowledge along so you don't end up with all this fitting lose or just not right for you, all I can said is to everyone that read this please go there ask for Cyndi and I can assure you, you walk out as happy as I'm even after spending all that money.
