I definitely recommend this group and if you can take advantage of one of the coupons available it makes it even more affordable. My family has motion sickness issues and while 3 of us did get sick it was worth it for the memories and my daughter that wants to be a marine biologist didn't get sick and really enjoyed it. It was not the fault of the boat nor the captain and crew. It wasn't even that choppy. However I definitely like scuba diving better than snorkeling as I drank so much salt water trying to keep track of everyone going up and down and taking my snorkel in and out of my mouth that's definitely why I got sick. read more

Dove twice this week with these guys. Monday 11/10 with Alyssa (captain) and Josh Dive Master. Wednesday 11/12 with Matt (captain) and Josh again. Both days were spectacular. Colder than I expected for Florida but it was super easy to just grab a 3mm shorty and jump in. Everything is right there at the dock waiting for you. My wife and I have our own gear, but the friends we went with rented. The gear was in great shape and worked well. Both days we did a wreck dive followed by a drift dive along the reef. All 3 staff we met made the trip fun. Ive been on a lot of dove boats and staff can get annoyed easily with tourists. These guys had fun at their jobs and it made the experience memorable. read more

The trip stated off great booking and finding the location was no problem when we get there the weather was not ideal which is not their fault at all. About 10 minutes on the boat ride out the waves were getting bigger and bigger. The water was supper rough and it started pouring rain. The conditions were not safe at all. Captain Joe was extremely rude and did not help anyone. The equipment was very unsanitary, I saw someone spit their water out into the bucket where you put your mask after using it. On the ride back the crew was extremely unprofessional driving through the huge waves soaking us all. They should have turned around once they saw how big the waves were. This was such an awesome experience! I went snorkelling with my family. Our captain (Alissa) and our guide (Matthew) were both extremely friendly and helpful! We saw so many fish ! (And other sea creatures) the only thing is that the rest of my family (not me somehow) got sea sick, but that isn't really something they could have prevented. So I just wouldn't do this if you're prone to sea sickness. read more

Sea Experience is my go to dive location in the area. Their dive profiles are pretty standard, a 70-80' wreck dive first, followed by a shallow reef drift dive. From time to time this gets changed up with a 3rd reef dive or reef cleanup, so be sure to check where they're going. The operation is well run, the dives are well briefed and the expectations are set in advance. I appreciate the snacks and sodas and the opportunity meet divers from around the area. Of the half dozen or so trips I've taken, I've never had an entirely negative dive. Even one where the current was so strong that we had to just hang on mean the fish didn't want to fight it either and the goliath grouper was hanging out in the wreck, 5' away from me. Not impressed! Our "snorkeling" experience was the low point of the vacation. After boarding, the Captain informed the approximately 45 people on board that conditions might not allow us to get in water due to 2-3 ft swells. We could not hear any of the "harbor tour" as she was just looking forward and had no speakers. Many got seasick getting to the point of anchor. We were not given fins and the "snorkle vest" is basically an inflatable lobster bib with leg strap. No instruction was given to anyone we observed on how to snorkel. We were anchored in open water with 3-5 foot swells and had many small children on board! Some people actually got motion sick in the water trying to "snorkel." More on board got sea sick. Very few remained in the water. We had one crew member for the full boat! None of our group of 14 enjoyed anything about the trip, and no one else we spoke to had a positive thing to say. The company had our money and took us out rather than consider safety or enjoyment. The company cannot control the weather and water conditions; but greed seemed to take precedent over guest experience. The kids and first timers have no desire to snorkel again! We would not recommend this company to anyone. They got our money. We got a very unsafe excursion. This boat should not have gone out. That had nothing to do with the experience. We had asked about pricing as your website showed $50 adult price plus 10% gratuity , but was itemized on our invoice as $55 plus a $5 gratuity. We did have a military veteran, so were eligible for the 10% discount. That was all. The reservation employee explained how she came up with the total it made some sense to us and was close to what we were figuring. At that point the issue was over and we were looking forward to the trip. Your reviews were good and the kids wanted to snorkel. Upon arrival, we said nothing about the charges as the matter was considered done. If you offer a military discount, it is your call if you feel that is unreasonable? We were asked if we had a military member during booking and we said yes, he could show his ID upon arrival. We realize you have no control over conditions. Most onboard in our area expressed that they didn't feel we should have gone out and we agreed. Now that you have brought up limits, could you please let us know what those are? What winds speeds and swell heights are too much? Why were we not given fins? Trying to understand. read more

We had so much fun snorkeling with the crew today! Mike checked us in and was super friendly! They supply everything you'll need and explain the procedures for everything really well. MAKE SURE YOU ARRIVE EARLY! Basically if you listen to them you'll be good to go and have more fun because everyone can get in the water quicker! We saw a ton of different kinds of fish and even fed them a few Cheetos Even if you're not a strong swimmer you have the option to get a noodle and everyone wears a self inflating device! It was cold on the boat so I was glad we brought towels! If you sit in the front you will most likely get soaked. Special thanks to Alex who made our trip so memorable! I'm newer into the dive scene. I walked in the shop and asked for help. Right away they explained everything clearly. Dive day came. They got me out to the boat, all set up with gear. I paid extra for a dive master, well worth it. I was paired up with Alex, who was awesome, friendly, and calmed some beginner diver nerves. Armando also was with us for both dives, another great dude. I really had a great time, beyond expectations. If you are just getting into diving, try this place. What a great experience! My family of 4 went with Captain Britto and Collin as our guide. Captain Britto took us on a 45 minutes boat ride to a reef with colorful fish. Collin was in the water with us free diving to the bottom of the ocean collecting sea life for us to hold and learn about. They worked great as a team to ensure we had a safe and fun experience. We had a great trip with Parker and Thorner! They start out with a trip down the canal out of the docs to see all the gorgeous homes. Then out to the reef snorkeling spot. We had great, calm conditions on the water where Parker and Thorner pointed out various fish and things to see. They were both very personable and kind. Helping with various things before and after getting in the water. (Simple stuff like the best way to get water out of your mask, etc.) They took the time to talk about scuba with me and encouraged me to do so. Give these guys and Sea Experience a shot. We had fun and saw soooo many pretty fish. The boat ride was also fun because we were sitting at the front of the boat and getting splashed. The water was more clear than I expected. I could see the bottom. The captain and staff are very attentive. I liked that they had pool noodles to use to feel more secure. Also there were 2 "lifeguards" with flotation devices in the water at all times making sure we were okay and the captain stood on the boat watching us. The captain also fed the fish so there were constant schools of different types of fish. So many fish that we were all saying ," ahhh I'm surrounded by like 50 of them!" Haha read more

We purchased a Go City pass for our trip, so we could just choose activities as we went. The all inclusive pass included a glass bottom boat tour and snorkeling trip. It said we needed to reserve ahead of time, so I called while we were still at the airport and had some downtime. We booked four days ahead of time because of a holiday week. The guy I spoke to was so friendly and so patient (because of the airport announcements in the background), and made sure I knew all sorts of awesome information to get us prepared for our trip. Make sure to do your waivers ahead of time (via email), because it's not just signing your name. Our trip was late to start because a family showed up late AND hadn't filled out their waivers. Day of: The marina is easy to find, it's actually also a water taxi stop if you are doing that while in town. We packed a lunch, but we ate it when we got back because the water was so choppy, that a lunch would not have been enjoyable. Just bring the essentials, as most things may get wet. Which is why there are no photos attached to this review. It really made me enjoy the moment. Lots of sunscreen, but make sure it is reef safe! We had THE BEST crew. Capt Joe and EJ were so down to earth and knowledgeable that you didn't feel silly asking questions or needing help. We had some kiddos on board with our group and their parents didn't go in the water. EJ helped them get acquainted with their equipment and settled into the snorkeling routine. The glass bottom part is kinda of "eh" because you don't see much until your at the dive site. But this was definitely a great experience! read more

He projects absolute confidence and competence which lets us students focus on the skills we're practicing and demonstrating, and he's always looking for opportunities to extend our diving education. Overall we had an ok experience. We went on their snorkeling trip ( around 3 hour trip). Takes about 30 minutes to get to the snorkeling site and 30 minutes to get back. Snorkeling time is around an hour. The reason for the 2 stars is the choice of the snorkeling site, there was literally nothing to see. We were told we would be snorkeling at a a reef. There was no reef and no fish. The staff are very nice and friendly, they made sure that everyone was safe and happy on board. Thanks for your response. I think it should have been made clear prior to leaving that we were going to a different site because of the air show. We were never told anything of the sort at the time of the booking. We did follow the crews instructions and there was no reef or fish to see. I think everyone that went there with us that day would say the same. read more
