So I flew into town a few days ago looking to snorkel on my vacation as a Chicagoan! We are Not in the water very often, actually never! A local tipped us on a water sport professional, so we ran with it. When I called the owner was very friendly and it was soo nice of her to squeeze us in the middle of her busy schedule. We were very surprised when she picked our group up and took us to a reef off the beach and trained us along the way in the shallow waters:)! Jaime's truck was loaded with all kinds of water sport equipment! When I saw the roof of her truck I wanted to jump on paddle boards and kayaks. When we arrived, one of the guys in our crew was a bit nervous because he is not a swimmer. Jaime comforted him with life vest and landmark bobbers that float above the water. Then she taught him how to float and and use the flippers on his feet while spraying antifog in our goggles. On the way out she located 3 nurse sharks which were quite beautiful and quite safe as she assured us:)! She was right as they just slept on the ground even as she tugged on the fins of that 6 footer. Jaime also swam down almost 20 feet to grab this huge starfish and 3 huge crabs in shells:)! We felt like we were at sea world! Jaime was very informative about all these sea creatures! Words cannot express how awesome an experience we had with Jammie and Atlantic Adventures. But I will try.... I tend to be a chicken but wanted to bond with my 16 year old daughter who loves paddleboarding and adventure. We booked a SUP trip with Atlantic Adventures. From the moment Jammie picked us up at our hotel, I knew we were going to have a wonderful experience. Jammie put me at ease immediately with her kindness, knowledge and passion for adventure and water. She was a patient and skilled instructor and even though I began with my paddles backwards (ha! ha!) she never made me feel stupid. Under Jammie's gentle guidance and instruction, I was quickly on my feet and happily paddling. Jammie was also able to help my daughter fine tune her SUP skills. An added bonus is that Jammie not only helped us paddleboard, but also identified and located much wildlife. We found beautiful live conch, a variety of fish and plants and a manatee!!! Jammie's passion for the water, nature and people is an inspiration. My daughter and I cannot stop talking about our wonderful experience. I will forever be thankful for this memory. Jammie was fantastic. She saved our rained out vacation with an awesome paddle boarding tour. The weather was a little unpredictable but she explained the local weather pretty accurately. Very glad we committed too. She picked us up at our hotel and drove us over to the mangroves. She was a great instructor and had us paddling on our own very quickly. When the winds picked up she knew what to do and clearly explained to us what we needed to do. Aside from a nice sprinkle we stayed pretty much dry the whole time. When I did finally fall in, Jammie was pretty great it about and didn't make me more embarrassed then I already was. Although, she was pretty quick with her camera and snap a shot of me in the water. She took a lot of great photos for us too. She's clearly very knowledgeable about the area and has all the right training and credentials to provide a hell of an experience. Really glad we were able to have her for that tour. She even gave us some tips of where to go and what to do around the area. She really saved our vacation! I would jump at he chance to do one of her other tours. read more

My mom and I went on a tour with Jammie in February. She was super knowledgable with and outstanding personality. Jammie went above and beyond not only was the tour great but she even picked us up as we were unaware of the area. She also just took the two of us out apposed to a large group which is usually what you get with any sort of tour in Florida and this made the experience more special. Picked us up on time. Very friendly and knowledgable. Took us out snorkeling at "jax". Saw soooo many cool fish, lobsters and a sea turtle! really felt safe. First time snorkeling for my wife and kids. Jammie really is a talented instructor! Cost vs off shore trip was really worth it! She was awesome to work with. It was our anniversary trip down to florida and the one thing my hubs wanted to do was snorkel. i made plans with her a week or two in advance. she came to our resort, picked us up, and took us there.
