I was referred to this practice by my physical therapist while I was in rehab after a car accident…read morethat left me with a broken pelvis, knee and ankle. After 2 weeks in the hospital and 6 weeks in rehab, I was no weight bearing for a while and so this is my attempt at learning to walk again and regaining mobility. My insurance Emblem/ GHI was accepted so I have only a co-pay of $20. The facility is convenient, clean and well staff with a wide range of equipment to service your needs. Katrina, Neil and Anna are amazing. They have been very keen to my needs and the therapeutic practices that would best support my healing journey. The appointments have been honored in a timely manner and I am pleased with the changes in mobility that I've seen. My hope is that over the 16 sessions I'll be able to transition from walker to cane and be fully mobile independently.

The therapy itself and the therapist were all very nice and pretty knowledgeable. The admin side not so much. Unfortunately there were a few issues with paperwork that did delay and interrupt the rehab process. If I had to do physical therapy again I'm not sure I would return due to that mistake. I would only consider it because of the therapists.

Management is greedy. - [ ] The only thing good is they have good therapists. -[ ] They got the new therapists doing interns job because the new therapists think if they work hard, they'll get a promotion -[ ] They take you inside, and realize the bed is taken then send you back to the front because its packed -[ ] They make the stem machine minutes higher if there packed so instead of 10, they got patients doing 20 minutes -[ ] People are coughing and sneezing and touching everything, the beds arent always cleaned. -[ ] Therapists and interns open the curtain for no reason while a patient is doing something because no one knows who doing what and where -[ ] They are so crowded, patients are with different therapists everyday -[ ] they are ready to take co-payment before therapy and make patients wait an hour to be called. The doctor said I probably need a shoulder transplant I said no send…read moreme to Physical Therapy, I want to Elmhurst balance and physical therapist right up the street from where I live and as soon as I got there they were very nice they took care of me I did some exercises stretching and then at the end they put either heat or ice on my shoulder and then they started massaging my back and neck . I can't believe the difference ,they were very patient with me . I would definitely recommend them
