One day on my way to supermarket I stumbled into this place and out of curiosity I went in JUST to get some informations. It is very clean. The receptionist, Angela is so warm, welcoming and very helpful that's when I decided right there and then to schedule P.T for my right shoulder and arm ( I hate going see doctors or hospital btw hence I had not have this problem treated for over 6 months prior to stellar ) It's my 7th visit now I mainly work with Walter (Physical Therapist) and Marshall (Masseur). Walter has been helping with my arm and shoulders and after every visit, I feel better. The hardest step on your recovery is getting yourself up from bed and the rest let Stellar PT's crew do the rest. If you are in doubt, don't ! Come see them ! Highly recommend! read more

Physical Therapists- very patient-centered, caring, approachable, friendly but still professional. I like going here Saturdays because Joma and Walter (Filipino PTs) are there. I've been to two other physical therapists for long term care in the past. Neither of them come close to service that I've received at Stellar in Queens. From the front desk worker Angela greeting me with a smile and remembering my name, to the other workers smiling and saying hello as I walk in, to the friendly, thorough, and attentive physical therapy I receive from my therapist Walter. I never knew what real therapy was before working with Walter! I feel like every session helps me progress, reduce pain and tension, gain strength, and challenge my body with varied and new exercises. If your current PT isn't helping you identify your tension points and seriously work them out, they aren't doing their job and you should visit Walter instead! read more

The service went well, the staff was nice and friendly but they didn't Inform me I have to pay when I gave them my new Insurance info and When I ready to go, they told me it's $70. That was exactly something I was trying to avoid for the visit and call in advance and email to give them my insurance info. I had to go here for physical therapy for a meniscus surgery! My therapist is as Vertika! She was really amazing! She took her time and really explained every treatment she was doing and how it was going to help with the healing process. She did some amazing stretches for my knee and my doctor was really impressed on how much I could do with my meniscus after only 4 months! I told him how my therapist was giving me homework to do when I am at home and for when I was able to return to work! I loved this place! I went there to treat some chronic back pain and I saw results after the second visit! The therapists that I worked with (Walter and Mellissa) were very knowledgeable and friendly. The massage therapist, Marshall, was gentle and professional. The receptionists were accommodating and flexible. One day I messed up my schedule and arrived when I didn't actually have an appointment, and they took me anyway! I had severe pain on my shoulder so I decided to try this place I found on Groupon($49 for accupuncture and massage). The doctor out needles on my arms not shoulder, and pain was immediately gone, it was magical. I felt when the pain "melted" in few seconds, after he put tiny needles on the points. The doctor was from Taiwan, has been practicing accupuncture over 40 years, and seemed to be very reliable. I also had great massage followed by accupuncture, short but very effective. Everyone works there was professional, friendly and informative. The place seems to accept most insurance and provide affordable treatment. I feel very light and my body is flexible, hopefully I can sleep better :) I would recommend anyone who has physical pain or unexplainable problems(fatigue, insomnia, headache) on body. read more

My PCP refereed me to Stellar for really bad back and neck pain. The entire staff is professional and friendly. I felt so much better after two sessions. Amazing! I came for PT after enduring endless pain for weeks. In 1 session with Steve it has diminished to almost nothing. The office is clean, professional and the staff very accommodating. They offer a wide range of treatments, open 7 days a week and will work with you. Anyone who has ever experienced perpetual muscle/nerve pain knows how it disables your daily existence. I had Groupon voucher for acupuncture and massage. It was easy to make an appointment. It was fantastic. Dr. Chen was the acupuncturist. After filling out a few forms and a discussion with Dr. Chen, he administered acupuncture targeting the areas of concern. It didn't hurt at all not even the feeling of a slight pinch! Within a half an hour all the aches and pains were gone. Like magic! I received a back massage after the acupuncture that took out the extra kinks. I srongly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and professional. By the way it's 2 blocks from Target on Queens Blvd. I found metered parking there. read more

Update, they were great. My first time there the acupuncturist (who was temporary) was unprofessional in several ways. I left a review after speaking with staff and they called and invited me to come back to experience their other acupuncturist who turned out to be amazing. Came here for tennis elbow. The staff was very attentive and professional. The PT was very knowledgeable. Didn't just read my prescription and did the typical treatment. She asked me lots of questions before treating me. I was also treated by a massage therapist and an acupuncturist, all covered by my insurance! This is in my old neighborhood. During my visits I've seen patients from elderlies to athletes, speaking different languages. This place is popular among locals I can tell. Highly recommended! read more

There are just people that serve as one's angels in times of physical despair and frustration. And these people are at Stellar Physical & Occupational Therapy. I have a chronic spine condition so that this issue comes on and off. At MD's advice I have to have sessions of PT so I can walk and to abate excruciating pain. Marshall, Joem, Melissa as usual are the best people you can run to in times of physical distress. Kim, the manager can be counted upon for access the place as I could hardly walk due to sciatic nerve pain - what a pain!!!. Kim used her account to accommodate my coming and going to the place with the assurance that should I need transportation that I should call her first so that I can be picked up from my place to Stellar and back. Angela an Administrative employee is on the phone with me making everything possible that I get an appointment as my condition sometimes does not allow me to keep my appointment due to pain and mobility restrictions. These are people who are caring, thoughtful, professional have the right values as caregiver. I thank God for these people. They are, to me, God sent. They lift my spirits up - always saying encouraging advice, hopeful and accommodating. They don't rush me as I am slow in movement - they are so patient with patients cognizant of the fact that we are people in pain and not our usual normal self and not fully functioning. They recognize physical limitations. Joem would even ask me what music on Pandora would I prefer? The good Oldies as I am already there or getting there. I say to Stella PT more power to you and have constant blessings from Above for all the care and good that you do.
