Spas Etc delivered and installed our Relay hot tub four years ago with no issues. The owner, Anthony Williams, was on-site. His team was confident and even proud of the unique install. They told us clearly it could be taken out the same way and that they offered that service if we ever needed it moved. No warnings. No limitations. No mention of special equipment being required in the future. Four years later, we sold the hot tub to buyers who chose Spas Etc because of our original recommendation. Both households rearranged our entire day around the pickup and delivery. We removed fencing that normally contains multiple dogs, made arrangements for their care, drained and prepped the tub, and kept the yard open the whole day. The buyers took the full day off, removed their railing per Spas Etc's own request, and prepared their delivery site as instructed. Spas Etc scheduled us for November 23rd from 1-4 PM. They arrived at 4:30 PM with neither the manpower nor the equipment they used originally--including the ATV they proudly showed off on social media from the first install (see photos). The lead said he remembered the job but wasn't equipped to perform it. No service was provided. The result? Two families lost an entire day. Two households rearranged logistics, schedules, fencing, and pet care for a service Spas Etc should never have scheduled. When we called the office afterward, they refused to provide the owner's number--only an email, which went unanswered. Later that night, the owner finally called and immediately contradicted the original installation, starting the conversation of with a "don't you remember we almost lost that thing into the lake," which simply wasn't true. (Ahem, gaslighting the customer) When that didn't stick, he shifted to "that was four years ago," and then incorrectly blamed the buyer for "refusing a walk-through,". We actually encouraged one to the office staff. He also doubled down by saying "I sell over 700 hundred of these a year, I don't remember yours". Nothing stuck because it's just wrong. The simple truth: This job should never have been scheduled if Spas Etc was not prepared, able, or willing to perform it. Instead, two customers were inconvenienced, and two homes disrupted days before Thanksgiving. This review isn't written out of spite--just accountability. Review update: Hotsprings reached out to me the next day and invited me into the showroom for hands on instructions. This helped me a great deal. Chris told me I could call any time for questions and step-by-step help when needed. So glad because I had to call him twice about the spa chemicals and would to use. Sales people were good and help answer our questions. My wife and I has always wanted a spa for many years and just could never afford it. We decided now was the time. My biggest fear about purchasing a spa was how to maintain it. The sales guy said "we can help and train". During the install the guys were very friendly. As he was telling me what he was doing I was taking notes. Since the install haven't heard peep from anyone from HotSprings regarding how we like our new spa and if we had any questions. Frustrated.... I had to watch a lot of YouTube videos on maintenance and adding chemicals. I had to take a water sample up to the pool store and they showed me what to add and how to add it. Purchased chemicals they requested and got the spa back to awesome. I feel when you spend the amount of money we did on this spa it should come with some follow up. I have called the HotSprings store in the past during business hours listed on the website and no one picks up or returned my call. I'm glad I have the pool store close by for advice and chemicals. After buyers remorse since the install of the spa and now getting a little more comfortable with it my wife and I are glad we purchased it. I use it every night to help with back pain and now sleep very well. The nights I don't use it I can tell. The HotSpring Spa is the best on the market but the service after the sales needs improved. read more

Purchased a spa from them and was completely excited. The process was easy and we were even supposed to get a year of free chemicals. Adam was great during the sales process. Well fast forward and we've been trying to get our chemicals for the spa for months and keep being told they're out of stock and they will ship them and a part of our spa is broken. It's been months and nothing has been shipped. Nothing has been fixed. We call and call and call and email and no one ever follows through. This is a blatant breech of contract and warranty. We looked around - a lot - before deciding on who to go with, second questions was, which of the many spas to choose from, and there was a difference of opinion in the house so we tried all of them. Twice. The whole team at Spas Etc were quite patient with our drawn out decision making, it is a big purchase after all, and helped guide us in the process. Pump power, number of jets, massages abilities, size, water capacity, seating... Twice. The installation was great, they needed to take out a partition in the screen to install, and it was replaced flawlessly. Great team, professional, patient service and great installation. Not the best company. I bought a Hot Springs Spa with Cool Zone and I will never do that again . The cool zone was a major pain to install . You have to get an AC person out it's not even worth it . The thing leaked Freon and then I called and it's $150 to have someone come out and look at it . It never even worked right and all he does is read blinking lights and leaves. Hot Springs makes great spas, just not satisfied with The Company Spas, ETC and their customer service. I'd look elsewhere. read more

I did some research and learned Hot Spring was a premium brand. I didn't need a top of the line model, but quality and service/parts was a long term concern. I read up on the company before visiting Spas Etc., and was very pleased to read their reviews. The fact that they've been in business since 1983 was very encouraging. Anthony & Nicole are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my newbie questions in simple terms. I'm glad they had me sit in a couple different ones because what I thought was ideal would not have suited me. Their installation team, Tony & Glen, were 15 minutes early for the appointment, made certain everything was leveled, set up and I was trained on how to keep it working good long term. I recently bought my second Hot Spring spa from Anthony. It is a gently used Vanguard model. Delivery to my vacation house in Daytona was was fast and friendly. A week after delivery I had a small problem with the the spa that was probably due to the 1 1/2 hour transport. I texted Anthony at 11:00 PM on a Friday night and he drove here from Jacksonville the next morning and arrived at 7:45 AM! I was shocked that the owner would make a 3 hour round trip on a Saturday to make sure we were happy. It's hard to find that level of customer service these days! We had a new small hot tub installed and have really enjoyed it. However the motor broke and they replaced it with a used cheap one which broke again. So now we replace it with a new one under warranty. My wife has issues with knees and legs and I have arthritis in my back so the jets and heat help a lot. read more

Had a heating issue. On the phone the guy diagnosed it as the heater board. Scheduled an appointment, WOULD NOT GIVE A TIME! I had to sit all day waiting for the guy to come. Said, yup, that's the board, BUT I DON"T HAVE ONE! Had to come back.....sometime.... they'll call us. Same thing when the board came available: Had to wait all day because they couldn't give even an approximate time. 2-days off work for a 10-minute fix. Pfft. Repair guy was VERY nice, though. i was given a hot springs tub, previously i hot a down payment with the local dealer. (Anthony ) . There was some confusion about the delv. date. I cancelled the delv after it took 3 weeks to have him come out. (didn't want to ruin his trip to Daytona bike week with his wife. ) I personally apologized to him about canceling the tub order since one was given to me. I personally with suit and tie went by his showroom and when he saw me ran in the back of the store. I asked his office lady to schedule a appointment to do basic check on the tub. Not a problem...... I asked her to call me back one way or the other. Still No Problem. As I walked out the door his mouth for a wife has some nasty comments for me but she waited till i got to the door before she had a smart comment to make. Previously I had contacted some guys I found online that would do service. When I called one of the guys to service the hotter and willing to pay full price and he agreed to look at it. After he went MIA, I called him and all I got back was a text that said he had a agreement with Another and he was not allowed to work on hot springs due to his and Anthny's agreement. BASICALLY I HAVE A HOT SPRINGS TUB AND HE HAS...BLOCKED ME FROM ANY SERVICE GUY IN THE ORANGE PARK OR JAX FIELD REPS TO NOT WORK ON MY EQUIPMENT. So If you'r gonna buy from him , just know that he controls all the subs around OP and Jax. I really believe he hides behind his older wife. What business turns down work at full price???? When I offered to go thru him at and he ran into the warehouse when he saw me. I have to say that Viat Spa in OP on HWY 17 has been more than willing to help get it up and running. Just the fact of Customer Service from a local dealer that doesn't sell his brand will help out means the world to me. Even tho the layout that Hot Springs had fit my house the best Id never buy a darn thing from Another or his older wife....... Be a man and tell me to my face, that your you don't need or want the business or just has desire to keep someone in a HOT SPRINGS TUB. This one won't last forever.. This is a great store, after purchasing a spa from Gainesville Florida hot springs store which is a complete disaster Watkins the manufacturer of Hot Springs Spas had Anthony the owner of Spas Ect. help us out and fix the other stores mess. Anthony is very polite and friendly. He didn't have to drive all the way from Jacksonville to Lake City, to help us out but he did and was extremely knowledgeable about all of hot springs spas and their products. He was able to fix the problem in about 20 minutes. He even made sure everything was working properly and made sure we knew what everything did and how it worked before he left. The other dealer didn't know and couldn't answer our questions. Wow that's says a lot about a dealer that will make sure your completely satisfied even though he didn't sale us the spa. By the way it only 3 months old. Great spas and now a GREAT dealer. Don't go to Gainesville Florida Hot Springs Spa store saves yourself time and agony, instead drive the extra miles to Jacksonville you'll be glad in the long run. read more
