I have to say that I'm VERY fortunate to have Rix only a few towns over from me on Ridgedale…read moreAvenue. I've used other pool companies and ended up having Rix come out afterwards to fix not only the mistakes the previous pool company did, but the initial problem. Suffice to say, I've learned my lesson and now I never go anywhere else. I let them open and close my pool for me but I maintain it myself during the pool season. They also offer a service to store my pool cover for the season which is nice being that it takes up a huge amount of room in my pool shed. They treat it with an anti fungal during it's storage which is nice. They also service the pool heater which is great because I usually have families of mice move into it during the Winter. If I ever need any extensive work done, they always do an outstanding job. Quality work too and I trust them to not rip me off. If I ever have a, "Pool Emergency" they come right out. Usually that day or early morning the next day. I know that I can always count on them to fix the problem. My only issue is that their pool chemicals are very expensive. For that I go to Leslie's for my chlorine and shock. Like a boat that is basically a large hole in the water that you throw money into, so is a pool. It's a large hole in the ground that you throw money into!

I had tried locally (Morris County) to purchase parts for my hot tub and this company is the only one that was helpful. [Pelican staff actually asked me to look for the parts myself in the back of the stock room (while they were eating lunch), but that's for a separate review.] After explaining issues with my heating element and the parts I was looking for, Jill kept me on the phone while she checked stock. In addition, she was calling her service tech on the road to confirm if a particular part was available in his truck. Long story short, there were a few options but keeping the weather in mind for my outside hot tub, Jill was able to help on the quickest and most cost effective way. She really schooled me with her knowledge of the hot tub as well. They are a bit out of the way but I will be utilizing them for all my hot tub needs! Thank you for a great experience thus far. I should be picking up my parts very soon but could not wait to write this review!
