Search is over for me. I will never call the big "3" again! This is the best pizza I've had since I worked at the Celebrity room. It is different, but equally as IRRESISTIBLE! I couldn't stop eating it and Knew I would be hurting later. Well guess what, it was so palatable and digestible with good ingredients, that I was comfortable and not overfull!!!! Love it! Real cheese, good fresh toppings --- MMMMM --- MMMMM !!! :-) YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE....really. Owner is there and the place is very nice and clean. This is GREAT pizza! The toppings are aggressive or mild, your choice! Everything from anchovies (my favorite), to artichoke, fresh tomato, fresh garlic, basil, ricotta cheese, banana peppers, and all the common ones.... all at bargain price and made with artistic flair by a guy who knows how to hand toss the dough. If you're lucky, you'll have to wait a few minutes and Mike will be sure to give you a free soda, a dessert, or his TASTY garlic knots. I cant get enough of it! its the best quality pizza around! At the absolute best price. Don't let the backsreet location fool you. I recommend it! and they guy is really named Mike Sparrow! read more

I got a Yelp notification of a new pizza place in my area a while back. After far too long of a wait, I got to try it last week. A couple friends and I ordered 2 large pizzas and garlic knots. One pizza was mushroom and sausage, and the other was pepperoni. The garlic knots were perfectly soft and paired really well with the red sauce. The pizzas were on par with some of the best I have ever had. It was more than enough food for us and was priced really reasonably. It was a great experience and I look forward to ordering again! read more

I don't even know why I have been ordering pizza from chains anymore. This place is the place for pizza. The owner has apparently taken the time and mastered the craft of the perfect pie. Wether you want a light spinach and feta with a tomato tang, or a pepperoni with just the right amount of grease to make it satisfying but not leaving greasy fingerprints, from wings to salads, I've tried it and it has become my "go to" place, it's just a bigger perk it's right around the corner. What ever you guys are doing over there keep doing it! read more

Me and the family were out and about after a school event for my son and wanted to grab dinner to go and found this wonderful gem! Small building packing big flavor! So many flavor combinations you won't be ready! We grabbed a 14" Sausage pepperoni! This was so good. The crust is crisp and delicious, the best we have ever had and sauce was perfect! The amazing Garlic Knots omg! Grabbed a Greek salad so good! We all loved it and ate everything! We shall return! Don't be fooled by the location and prices, this place is amazing. read more

Sparrow's Pizza is my favorite pizza in Richmond. No pretentious pies, just high quality ingredients and great flavors. We've tried the Four Cheese, Veggie, Chicken Bacon BBQ, and Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas and loved all of them. The Greek and Supreme salads are good too, with crisp, fresh veggies. If you like garlic, the Garlic Knots are a treat with tons of rich garlic butter. The owner Mike is always in the shop and you can tell he cares about making a good pie. Try it and see for yourself... the cravings come on strong! read more

I ordered for the first time from Sparrow's on the basis of all the reviews I had read on Yelp! We were not disappointed! This is seriously the best pizza we've had in Richmond in a long time! I ordered 5 pies of varying types and sizes. Consistently good crust, fresh ingredients and super nice people, according to my brother, who picked up for us. SO excited to have a stellar locally owned pizza place on my way home from work! read more

Sparrow's pizza has by far become my go to pizza place. I try and get a different pizza of their specialty pizza menu each time and haven't been disappointed. I order online and I appreciate they give text updates and delivery drivers name, car, and delivery time. Pizza is always delivered super hot. And even better no delivery fee. I've been told gratuity when you order online goes straight to the driver and I love that. read more

This place is definitely a contender for best crust in Richmond. I ordered:1st half kalamata olive and sausage, 2nd half feta and cherry tomatoes, garlic on everything. Olives and cherry tomatoes were both obviously cut by hand for my order and it was clear that real attention went into my pizza. I'd skip the garlic next time, but only because the sauce was perfect without it. Super fast delivery read more

Just tried this place this evening on a whim with a hankering for pizza and we were not disappointed at all! We got garlic knots and a good ole pepperoni pizza. Garlic knots were browned and cooked to perfection and the pizza had great taste to it as well! I think my favorite part was the nice crispy crust! Will definitely order from here again! read more

Absolutely the best pizza in town! The crust is wonderful and no matter how it's topped it's consistently delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and care that is put into the final product. Not only pizza, but wings, salads, calzones and Stromboli.
