My friends chose this bar as a spot to host an impromptu bachelorette party, and, since I live out of state, we chose Happy Hour Tavern based on the positive reviews we read and a gut feeling that the vibes would be right. As a queer person and rural Pennsylvania native, I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. Prices are incredibly fair, service was great, and all of the frequent customers were very kind in going out of their way to welcome and congratulate us. While I didn't get a chance to try the food, the drinks were great! Heavy pours for very low prices. I'm very grateful for the experience my friends and I had here. I hope to return someday when we're back in town!
