Customer support has been extremely diligent in responding to my questions. They made sure I have the right plan for my current usage, not what costs the most. I really appreciate them for making sure to resolve the issues I did have and make sure I, the customer, was treated the way they would want to be treated.

Absolutely horrendous. After getting spotty service for weeks, spending HOURS on the phone with…read morecustomer service and having 2 techs come to my home I still have terrible service. I have to use my phone for hotspot instead of the service I pay for. I was given a discount of $13 for being without service for more than a week, and $10 off a month to stay a member, but I will not receive either for over a month still and I was offered these weeks ago. Their response is because the bill was in place already - when these issues have been ongoing for over a month - how is that possible? Each person I speak with has a different response and answer to why the issues are occurring. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

My wife was an Architecture student at K-State and she spend 2500 to have FBS build her a computer…read moreto use for modeling, rendering, and Adobe Photoshop. The computer that FBS built was a complete joke and was at least 1000 dollars overpriced. The computer constantly froze at the boot screen and would then it would need a fresh install of windows in order to work again. When we took it back to FBS they claimed it was a "software" problem and therefore the warranty would not cover it. After constant problems, and returning the computer exactly 6 times (the last being for a 6 month period) we decided to give up and I built a brand new computer myself. I have tested the computer that FBS has built with a new GPU, PSU, HDD, and OS and STILL this piece of crap that FBS sold us locks up. In short, FBS installed crappy components at an exorbitant price and would not go back and fix the mistakes they made. AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

First off, I felt like I was in the police station scene from Home Alone getting transferred back and forth between departments because each thought that my issue should have been handled by the other. My other point of frustration comes from their new COVID-19 protocols which, according to the customer services team, restricts techs from coming out to my house to help me fix my problem. This was followed by saying that techs were only getting sent out for diagnosing issues (Not to fix any issues), upgrades and new installations. This to me sounds like unless I am adding a new revenue stream to Consolidated, fixing my internet problem is not worth the possible risk to the tech or myself. Every person I spoke with was cordial. I even spoke with a supervisor who offered me a free month's credit to my account for my troubles. Unfortunately, this does not fix my internet issue and the only way I can get someone out to my house is to switch providers. Time to start shopping.

If they are going to provide a highly technical service, they should know something about the technology, but it does not appear that they do. Account service is equally unhelpful, and very hard to reach. If there were an alternative in rural Butler county, these folks would be out of business. Equally hard to understand is the fact that their user community is local, yet they provide very poor service to what are essentially their neighbors. A public utility should do better.

They moved me to another Tower but it still is unreliable. They give no adjustments for poor or no service unless you have been out 24 hrs. So with that being said you can be without it for 10 hrs and still pay full price. I have never asked for adjustment but I am getting sick if rebooting and troubleshooting almost everyday. Asked for owners info but was refused.. They need more competition and maybe they would treat their customers better. They want you to refer a friend for a month free but why would you screw your friend over. They would end up not being your friend after joining with this company.
