I initially purchased a voucher for Sparkle Windows USA from Yelp. I attempted to book an appointment with Sparkle Windows USA three times. Each time, they failed to show up. The first two times, they called me on the day, letting me know they would not be able to make it. The third time, they completely failed to show up. After contacting Groupon in order to get a refund on the purchase, Sparkle Windows USA redeemed the voucher without my knowledge even though no service was given. Three weeks after Groupon un-redeemed my voucher, they redeemed it once again. The company actively deceives their customers and advise everyone to avoid them. read more

Warning: Deceptive Business Practices! We pre-paid with Groupon $75 to have 20 windows washed, inside and out. The first appointment was for Friday afternoon three weeks ago. I came home from work to let them in, and they did not show! And they did not call to cancel. So, I called Sparkle Windows USA, and no one answered. I left a message. I called back an hour later and a woman (Mimi) answered the phone. I explained what happened, and she apologized saying they were overwhelmed with a response to a Groupon promotion they had run. We rescheduled for the following Friday. The next Friday there was rain in the morning. Harris called to cancel the 2:00- 5:00 afternoon appointment because of rain. By afternoon, the skies were clear. In spite of clear skies at my house, once again, I had to reschedule. So, today I came home from work again for the third time. Harris did show up this time by himself (no advanced call) and came into my house only to tell me that he could not wash my windows unless I paid more money. When I said I was not willing to pay more, he walked outside, got in his truck, and drove away. No negotiation. No discussion. He just left. If you think of a home as a living, breathing entity with windows as the eyes, Harris, with Sparkle Windows is the bomb for seeing clearly! I bought the Living Social coupon (20 windows, inside and out for $75) and not only did he show up promptly, even early to set up, and exude professionalism, he was as honest as they come when correcting me as I mis-calculated thinking I had 23 windows to clean when I only had 20! Oh, and it needs to be said, he worked fast and did a bang up job. I highly recommend this service and will definitely use them again. read more

Harris was AMAZING! My house never looked better. We are in a 2-story and he was meticulous in making sure every spot was addressed. In the 6-years we've lived here, we had not done the outside windows, nor did we do the upper windows in the living room. He had a lot of work to do! He did such a great job we've asked to be on their calendar for a regular reminder when it's time to do them again. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable. He was on-time and certainly personable. I would never recommend this business!!!. I bought a groupon to clean 20 Windows and the guy should up and told me that he cant clean my windows because they are French cut and would charge extra $10/window. He counted the windows that he can clean under groupon and there were only 5 windows that he wanted to clean which were not French cut. I asked him if I can still use the grouping and he counts one pane as one window (as the other window cleaning companies do) but he refused and told me that he wouldn't do that and charge me $10/window. When I bought the groupon, there was no disclaimer that windows more than one pane would be charged extra and that's why I bought this groupon. Such a Waste of time!! read more

The night before the appointment I called to confirm and was told I would have to pay an extra $65.00 because I did not live within their service area. When I informed the lady I was only 12 miles outside their area, she said it's $65.00 no matter how far out of that area. OUTRAGEOUS! So if you live in Pflugerville or Georgetown and parts of Round Rock, it may be a good deal. LivingSocial did not offer any help. Yes, the fine print did say additional charges will apply outside their zip code. $65.00 no matter how far out of that zip code is ridiculous. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

unbelievable - This started out as a negative experience from the minute I opened the door, the tech started with "we have a problem". The "problem" was that I have storm windows! This is a window company that does not understand how to take out storm windows. I rearranged by entire morning to sit home and wait for these guys to show up to be told they can not do storm windows (not that they were not included in the groupon I unfortunately purchased) . I even tried to show the tech how to move the windows up and down and he seemed utterly perplexed. I then asked him to just clean the windows inside and outside and that I would worry about the storm windows. He said I would not be happy with them and left. read more
