I rarely take the time to write a bad review on Yelp, but this one had to be done immediately. I went in to have a polish change. I had black polish on there before and had taken it off last night because it was chipping. There was still some remnants of the black polish and my toenails needed to be cut. They did not bother to put any acetone on my toes to take the remnants of the old polish away and this is the worst polish change I've ever had in my life. I'm going to have to take it off and do it again myself. Some toes aren't even all the way painted and they're definitely wasn't any cleanup done afterward. I could see black polish on one of the toes and the nail tech tried to tell me that that was my toe. I'm sorry my toe is not jet black, you just didn't bother to take any of the old remaining polish away.

I got acrylic, and cats eye sparkle design. The women who work here pay a lot of attention to detail. The vibe is very chill, I would bring headphones if you're that type of person. The woman who did my nails this time did fantastic as they usually do. I've been coming here on and off for about a year and they never disappoint. ALSO worth mentioning they ALWAYS get my almond shape correct on the first try, I never have to beg for a good even shape. IM IN LOVE

Crooked nail after rushed through plain mani service without color. Just buff.

Melissa D.

I'm kind of speechless. Not in a good way. I wanted a plain manicure no color. Just to clean up. The woman who worked with me rushed the service. My nails may have been worked on 5-10 minutes. She also cut my finger and said "oh I had to get the cuticle," yeah but that doesn't mean you cut my finger and don't follow with saying sorry like it's just ok or to be expected. If that's normally how you do nails you don't do them well. This service was $20. Just because it's a basic service doesn't mean you don't do it well. She made it seem negative and that I made a poor choice because I opted not to get color. I'll let the photos speak for the experience.

Today I had one of the best pedicures I have had since I moved to austin. Julia was her name and pretty toes are her game. Calm, relaxed and took her time. My feet feel and look better than they have in a while. happy, happy, happy!

Line item where I was charged for a full set and not a fill

Tera H.

Today I received a rushed service and was practically forced to get a fill on my nails while getting a pedicure. Then when I went to pay I was charged for a full set when I only received a fill. When I asked the lady about it she pointed to the signature line and said just sign she pushed the wrong button. I will never return to this establishment for unprofessional, rushed service. They don't even deserve the 1 star

Melissa W.

I've followed these ladies from their previous location. Great customer service. Nails. SNS. Dip

Ashley M.

Reasonable prices and super friendly staff! I really appreciate how they took me in at 6:30 for a pedicure and full set although they close at 7! Great job on both my feet and hands; BUT I must say the polish job on my toes was a lil off, but not too noticeable, I wasn't too thrilled with my coffin shaped nails they ended up being a bit shorter than I wanted after she finished filing and buffing and they were slimmer that a coffin/closer to a stiletto shape without the point; but it was after closing time and I didn't wanna make a fuss. I would definitely return in the near future at a earlier time.

Dark burgundy nails with a little gold ombre accent

I ADORE Vanna She is so thorough and precise with her nails. Above anything else she absolutely wants you to love what you walk away with. I have been known to be incredibly picky and when I find someone I like I tend to stick with them for a long time. I have been having my nails done for approximately 15 years and Vanna is absolutely one of the best I have found!!!

Meagan G.

Extremely happy with my nails and thank Vivian from the bottom of my heart!! Walked in unsure what to get and she went above and beyond to take care of me. Definitely will be back soon!!

Acrylic nails set by Sparkle Nails My-Lin. She did a phenomenal job. I am very happy 5-23-22

Elvia W.

I got my nails done by My-Lin 1702 W Parner Ln. on 05/23/22. Full Acrylic set. I was scared and unsure at first. She made me feel at ease right away. I showed her a pic of what I was looking for and she exceeded my expectations and did a better job than the pic. She did a phenomenal job! I got compliments from my husband and family. I will be returning to see her. No complaints just great review! If I could give her 10 stars I would. Thank you, My-Lin 512-614-0999.

Loving my new nails! I was a walk-in on an early Sunday afternoon. It took about an hour and this look is short stilettos French manicure but with black tips instead of white . It's was $55 not including the tip.

This is the most unsanitary nail salon I have ever been to. I chose this place because of the great reviews and was so disappointed. All I wanted was to soak my gel off and get a regular manicure with clear polish. The first woman who helped me out had me soak off the gel in clearly DIRTY bowls. There's was literally someone else's nail in one of the bowls. The towel was also dirty. Then they continued to harass me about how I need to get Dip for my nails despite me telling them I can not have dip or gel for my new job. My manicure was subpar and was definitely not worth $28. I will never go here again and do not recommend if you care at all about cleanliness. There were other nail techs in the salon who were significantly nicer and seemed much cleaner I just happened to get the 2 rudest workers. read more

I've been going here for quite a while. The people are very friendly but the results are not. I only get regular pedicure and each time my nails have smudged even though I let them dry a long time. One time the polish was still wet after an hour. Today on my visit I was overcharged $20. I guess I'll be looking for a new salon. read more

This was my first time here and it was okay. Nothing special and nothing terrible. Pedi: I chose the deluxe pedicure with gel polish. I have one toe nail that doesn't grow in fully so normally I get powder on it to make normal length. They were trying to talk me out of it so much that I caved, although I'm trying to give them MORE money for something that takes literally two minutes and every other salon is always willing to do it. Next, during my stone massage she only did one leg. I felt her switch out the stones and they got warmer, on the same leg, and I thought oh this is attention to each leg I love it, no just made a mistake. I asked the lady completing the service if she was going to do the other leg. She said I already did. I explained she did not. She said maybe you forgot. Ummm.... maybe o forgot something that literally JUST didn't happen?! I told her I wouldn't argue and move on to the mani. Mani: normal what you expect on a SNS/Dip mani. I picked my colors (I like each nail a different color) and they seemed irritated that I wanted to do that. She then seemed irritated and kept pushing for me to do tips, which again, I NEVER DO (I have a toddler, three large dogs, and work on a computer all day). It's my nails and I'm paying you for a service, I seriously don't see the problem. Well right after I picked my colors the lady who did my pedi started my mani and then said oh this lady will help you. I had to sit there for a while while she finished some one else, not too long, and then she completed it. The one who completed the mani was nice enough and didn't seem too bothered by the multi color selection. Like I said, it's not terrible just nothing worth coming back to either. I was disappointed because I was hoping to love this since it's so much closer than my normal spot. I'll continue to travel to round rock for now. read more

I was there yesterday and had a very unpleasant experience...the manager handled my situation very poorly and acted as though she didn't understand me when I tried to explain my side of story and was dismissive to me, speaking to an employee in their shared language but somehow also saying some crappy things to me as well...it was odd and passive aggressive. To pass the testing to operate as a nail technician in Texas, you must be able to communicate in English. So if these employees can't, are they really licensed? Just saying...little do they know I live right by the owner and could tattle on them....but I'm not...just gonna move along and never go back read more

Nice pedicure, WAY OVERCHARGED. Been here twice with other people. This time was the last time. All three of us ordered a basic pedicure for $28. One person was charged $34, one was charged $43, and one was charged $53. They act like they can't understand English and mumble about the heel scraping. Same scam I have heard in other nail salons. You point at the pedicure you want, that's what you should get and what you should be charged for, period. We discussed what we wanted a half dozen times. Scam. The new owner is very short-sighted, because people will not be return customers. I will not be back. read more

A smile or how are you can go a long ways. However, let's not confuse this with them being rude in which they are not. This will be my place for my brows.

Each time I get my nails done here they always do it right. I 100% recommend going here and I've only gone twice and I always get design and they always put so much details into my nails and they cut my cuticles so that's a bonus. The ladies there are so sweet and they take their job seriously so if you want to get your nails done I recommend getting them done here! read more

This was my second visit, and both times the quality just wasn't there. During my first appointment, I asked to have my cuticles cut. The tech told me he would take care of it with the drill after the dip was applied but it never happened. When I returned for my second visit, the same tech did my nails again and told me the previous person should've cut my cuticles... even though he was the one who did them last time. The actual service wasn't any better. I requested an almond shape, and he just filed my nails to the point where it was painful. The drill hurt and the shaping was uneven. I also felt over charged for what should have been a simple fill. Within a few days, my nails started lifting and even getting caught in my hair. Not only is that frustrating it's a sign of poor application. They already look terrible, and it hasn't even been a week. Overall, I had an awful experience here. Save your money and go somewhere that takes their time and does quality work.

Whenever I'd try to question her she'd ignore me or pretend she didn't know English, nodding and smiling the whole time. The polish was of poor quality, and has already bubbled up and peeled away except for two nails on my right hand and one nail on the left. The place literally REEKED of mildew and was filthy. I was the only customer in there, and that in itself should have been a sign for me to run out of there. They were also far too expensive for just a plain gel manicure. What a nightmare experience for something that's supposed to be soothing and relaxing. I will never go back, and I'm telling everyone about it.
