The hotel itself has been fully renovated, and it really shows. You can tell the ownership genuinely cares about both the property and their guests. Everything feels clean, updated, and well maintained. Amenities are excellent for a stopover or short stay. There's a swimming pool, a grill for cooking, and even a small gym. Parking is plentiful, and most of the time you can park right outside your room, which is great if you're traveling with a car full of belongings or just want peace of mind. In the morning, they offer a basic continental breakfast with hard-boiled eggs, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, muffins, danishes, and yogurt. There's no indoor dining area, but you can easily take it back to your room or enjoy it by the pool. The rooms are well stocked with soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and a shower cap, and I really appreciated the extra space heater in addition to the standard AC/heater wall unit--such a thoughtful touch. The internet is free and good signal. Pro tip: Book directly through the hotel's website. It's cheaper than Booking.com or Hotels.com (I saved $8), and the price difference more than makes up for any points you might earn elsewhere. It's also cheaper than walking in to book, and they do fill up quickly--when we checked in, only a couple of rooms were left. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly. The room was fantastic. Absolutely clean, yes, the carpet is old, but it's clean. The bathroom is spotless, the TV has a great picture with Dish Network. The Wi-Fi was plenty fast and able to stream video , the bed was a little bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got a great night sleep. There's a fridge and a microwave, and the heater keeps you more than warm. If you need a little bit more, they also provide a comforter. The room is well lit, and I had plenty of places to charge my gear. The bed only provided three pillows, and so if there's two of you, you may have to ask the office for another.
