It is affordable so keep that in mind. It is literally next to the freeway, so the noise will be a bit loud due to the traffic. No food available due to COVID 19 but there should be coffee in the rooms. I can't imagine that they couldn't drop off granola bars or something packaged to eat. Unfortunately I had to stay here because the Ramada hotel was sold out. The toilet was very dirty. The carpets and not clean and I recommend staying on socks at the very least. The pool and Jacuzzi was closed and filthy. If you are staying on the second floor don't mind all the cracks in the cement walkway. The Internet didn't work properly. There was a fire alarm that was dangling from the roof. Room 206 the door was very hard to open. On a positive note they have good and nice hot water to shower. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Found 3 roaches in my room one was even on a bed. Got my room changed thankfully but it's going to be a short stay. There's also a bug zapper outside that you will hear all night long. Do not stay here!! Ps, just found out the shower doesn't work in my second room. And the bed, didn't find any sign of bugs. I was a little nervous since I booked this motel from Priceline.com as a "name your price offer" or the "who know what place" offer....CHEAP PRICE and took the gamble...it was a very decent room. It was clean and comfortable. Met my expectations and then some. Breakfast was choices of hard boiled eggs, pastry, cereal, waffles, juice, coffe, toast. Very clean dining area and lobby. A basic, decent place to stay when traveling through the area on Interstate-5. Basic, clean, comfortable, and included breakfast. Reasonably priced ($72/night + tax, totaling $79/night). There was an issue when we checked in and the door to our room would not lock. In fact it would not even latch closed. We went back to the front desk and were given a room with a functioning door lock. There is a swimming pool, but we did not try it. read more

We found even better prices on the Choice Hotel website. We found the rooms to be large and clean and very quite. The grounds were beautiful with rose bushes all around and well lit. The hotel sits along I-5, but our room on the West side was quiet an you couldn't even hear the highway. Easy access on and off with several fast food, or local restaurants nearby. This is definitely a budget hotel, but they have made some extra efforts to upgrade the rooms. The rooms had fridge, coffee pot, large flat screen TV. The only things we didn't like is that we were told the breakfast started early but wasn't ready when we left at 7am. The pillows were tiny "half" pillows, the towels were thin basic bathroom towels and each room only had 2 sets. If you are okay with a budget hotel for a nights stay, this place may be for you. read more

The best Econo Lodge I have been by far. This place appears to be recently remodeled. The air conditioner was wonderful. The beds comfy.. our room was facing the freeway, but yet you hardly hear any traffic. They are pet friendly, they do charge $20 for the pet which I think is crazy, but I am seeing that everywhere. Overall I needed a good sleep and this place provided that. read more

Bed was very uncomfortable and they did not provide conditioner only shampoo. They also only gave 2 towels in the room for showering. TV was not working at first as the volume was turned off and had to play with the settings to turn it back on as someone changed the language to Spanish. NO SHOWERS, NO SERVICE, NO SILENCE! We checked in a room after a long drive back, once we got into our room we were exhausted and just wanted to shower and go to bed. When turning on the shower the shower made a loud noise that sounded like plumbing issues. We immediately turn off the water and called the front desk to let them know. We tried using the phone in the room to call down to the front desk but it didn't work so we had to use our cell phone to call. The front desk clerk said there was nothing she could do about it and that maintenance wasn't going to come out just for that till the following morning. She didn't even offer to switch rooms for us even though they weren't booked up till 2 am. We didn't get to shower before going to bed and made us feel so uncomfortable the rest of the evening. The rest of the night was eventful with loud neighbors playing music all night people walking up and down the halls slamming doors. Which made it hard for us to get a decent night's rest. The next morning before we checked out a police car drove inside the hotel and questioned me ya about someone they were looking for. After that we decided to pack up and get out of there. When checking out we requested to speak to a manager which there was no one available so we left our number for a return call which never happened. We ended up calling ourselves and the manager didn't seem very receptive to what we were saying and said he'd call us back. Here we are more than 24 hours later still waiting for that return call. It was very nice and clean. Nice comfortable bed, not comparable to motel 8 or 6. Very comfortable after long drive through California. My grandfather just stayed here as he always does when he comes to California from Washington for the winter. He has stayed here for the last 4 years and this year paid 50% more. He was price gauged after promised a lesser rate. The breakfast was horrible and barely had anything to choose from. He will not be staying here again for that price or service. read more

My family was evacuated from Lakeport, Californa for 6 nights due to the Mendocino Complex fire so we chose to stay at the Econolodge in Williams. I was told that I would receive a discount due to the state emergency. When I checked out I found that I was charged full price for both rooms. The internet didn't work the first 2 nights but did work the last 4. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes (I'm not sure if it was just the hotel or the entire town of Williams). Amenities were good at least (microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room plus continental breakfast till 9:00 am). We were charged $1599.36 for 2 rooms with 4 pets. When I look at today's price I could get 2 equivalent rooms with 4 pets for 6 nights for $1461.94. So much for the promised discount. read more

Do not recommend. Everything online says they have 24 hour check in so we reserved a room the day before we planned on going. When we arrived around 11:30am, we noticed only 4 cars in the whole parking lot. When we went inside we were told very rudely that they do not have early check in after telling them that we were there to check in, I showed the girl what it says online that it's 24 hour check in and she said no that just means they're open 24 hours. She said check in wasn't until 3pm and there were no rooms ready anyways, and that if we wanted we can check back around 2pm and see if they had one ready but it would be an additional charge to check in early...we walked next door to motel 6, got a room on the spot with no early check in fee. I scheduled a stay at this Econolodge and when I called the hotel to cancel, I was told to call Choice Hotels to cancel. I asked the woman at the desk for the number and she wouldn't give me one. Instead, she told me to google it. Great service. I called the number I found on google and was told to contact Customer Relations. I contacted Customer Relations and was put on hold while they spoke with a manager. I was then placed on hold to wait for a manager when I was picked up by a random desk jockey and had to restate myself for the fourth time. At this minute, I still haven't been able to cancel my stay, which is over a week away. So, it's look like they've hoodwinked me for $80+. That is all they will ever get. I will never stay at an establishment run by Choice and will tell all of my travelling friends to do the same. Terrible business. read more

The good: the staff is gracious and very accommodating. The bad; our nonsmoking room smelled like a million cigarettes had been smoked within it. I'm an ex smoker and it doesn't normally bother me. It was so very bad that I almost couldn't stomach it. The sheets on one bed had to be changed owing to pubic hair and glitter. The clean looking floor left our feet black. Ants and pincher bugs already lived in our room. I was thankful we had a place to stay given the circumstances (evacuation), but I won't be back, especially for $140 a night. read more

She has dogs and they charge a non-refundable $20 per pet, per night deposit. So she has been paying (or so she thought) $149 per night. She checked her bank account and found that she is now being charged $129 per night for the room in addition to the $60 in non-refundable pet deposit. They never informed her, so she went to talk to the person at the front office. She was told they raised the rates because there is such a high demand for rooms right now with all of the people being evacuated. This HAS TO BE illegal!! She told me the TV hasn't been working in her room, and she called once she woke up the first morning. (They didn't check in til about 3 in the morning). Now she's being told she is going to be charged for the TV. WHAT?!?!?!?! They said she should have called as soon as she checked in. Mind you, they didn't try to turn on the TV til when they woke up later that morning. WTF?!?!?!?! Is this really the way they do business?? Raising rates due to an emergency should be illegal anywhere. Having no compassion and treating people like dollar signs is despicable. I know that if I ever need somewhere to stay, I will go elsewhere because I like to be treated with a tad bit of hospitality when I'm a guest at a hotel. I traveled to Williams for company business in Colusa. Stayed there 2 nights on july 24 and 25, 2017. NEVER AGAIN. I came home with multiple bites on my body either from fleas or bed bugs. They allow pets but obviously do't have designated rooms. 4 others come with me there they had the same experience felt like things were biting you all the time. Shower head didnt work in one of the rooms. sprayed all over the place. all front desk could say was will let maintencace know. 2 of the 4 rooms we reserved were not ready and we arrived after 7pm. Ice machine was broken, when i asked at the desk if there was back up, she said no. Contineintial breakfast sucked. at 8am nothing to choose from but bread for toast. No one at front desk for over 30 minutes to ask for help. VERY POOR SERVICE, I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET BIT BY SOMETHING. Not a bad motel. The rooms are clean and the price was very good. Under $80 for 3 rooms. The kids had a blast in the pool cooling off from the 90 degree heat. The pool has too much chlorine in it though. For a passing thru motel I would say it's worth the stop if you're in town. read more

I was not happy with my stay here but didnt want to bother my hubsand to go somewhere else. The air conditioner made a lot of noise and its next to the highway very noisy. I am a light sleeper and I didnt get any sleep. The AC kept hitting me all night long too while trying to sleep. We only came here because we have stayed at other quality inns and werent dissappionted. What i like most they allow pets... and thats about it. Plus there were mosquitos out our door. Evonn is the one that checked us in and even though travellocity messed up our reservation she was very helpful and goddess the same rate, also when are Penske truck broke down and we had to stay another night she gave us the same rate she's one of the best people that I've ever had to deal with at a hotel!!! Hands down the worst hotel experience I have had. Coming back from 16 hour shifts to my walls and ceiling COVERED in insects every day for over a week. The owner is extremely rude, I have never once not been allowed to hang out in the parking lot (threatening to kick us out for being 'disruptive' before the sun even went down). This is a very clean, reasonably priced place to stay in the I-5 corridor. The young woman who came to the window at 1:30 a.m. when we decided we were too tired to drive any further, was very nice! Sometimes, at other hotels, I have gotten front desk help that acted like it was a bother to them to be helping you. This young woman was so kind and very helpful. The only good thing I can say is that they were pet friendly for a 20.00 charge... First they charged my cc twice totaling 135.00 for a 20.00 charge and when we brought it to their attention they said it wasn't their fault it SHOULD be fixed soon... There was mold on the bathroom ceiling due to no fan for ventilation the walls and floor in the room were dirty u can only have 1 device on wifi at a time .. Their breakfast was waffles and cereal no fruit no yogurt no oatmeal and the coffee could kill a cow... They advertise truck parking which means pet on the street... The staff were all foreign and very hard to understand... Sadly we had to stay 2 days and still haven't gotten my cc fixed .... read more

I spent one night here at the Quality Inn in Williams,California and was so impressed. The room was neat,clean,all things worked,ie hair dryer,microwave,refrigerator, sheets sparkeling clean,counters clean, and really enjoyed the staff and the scrambled eggs,sausage links and waffles,toast,cerals,etc.and rolls and breakfast rolls, introduce yourself to their General Manager,his name is Mr. Anay Patel, tell him Carol Long from Poway sent you.
