Clean Even though there appears to be some live boards, this park is very neat and clean. Lots of fun trails to walk and benches to sit and watch the river flow by. The restrooms and showers are impeccable. The staff is great. read more

We stayed for 2 nights. Mosquitoes were terrible and the room was so small two double beds pushed one to wall the other the air condition. The bathroom was so so the shower head sprayed all over when turned on . Very disappointing. Oh and the vending machine signs are posted with arrows when I found it was at the office why don't they say that! I accidentally walked into someone room totally accidentally. You really can't beat the bang for your buck here . Everything was super clean and the staff was great . Probably the best 6 I have stayed in and I have been to a few in different states . They took great care of the grounds too . I noticed a guy walking around checking up on the lawns throwing grass seed where needed and just keeping it nice . There were also a bunch of good taco spots nearby and easy access to the freeway. The only thing I would say might be inconvenient was that a lot of the businesses closed down early so u just have to plan ahead if u want late night eats . But that's not Motel 6 fault just small town life . I would definitely recommend these guys amd I will be back . read more

The bathroom is decent that's why I got three stars. The room and the bed are fair. There's no clock and no coffee in the room. So far it's quiet so it's a good night stay for me. read more

For $60.60 this place was clean, quiet and friendly. After had just left the Holiday Inn Express in Corning at 11p disgusted. I was exhausted and knew I would not make it back to Los Angeles alive. I prayed and asked God to please show me where to stop. Off the freeway I seen the Motel 6 sign that read $54.99. I thought let me go see what it looks like. If there's a bunch of sketchy people in the parking lot I'll just keep driving to Sacramento. To my surprise no sketchy people and it had a peaceful atmosphere. I get the room and hope there's no roaches. Yep no roaches. I so appreciated this Motel 6 along my journey back to Los Angeles. If you're driving through and looking for a clean safe place to crash I recommend this Motel. read more

We stayed at this motel in May 2024 and was pleasantly surprised. Although our room was facing the freeway and we heard some traffic noise, the room itself was nice and clean. It may have been recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable, towels were on the thin side but not as thin as some overused towels can get. Pleasant staff in the office. I would definitely consider staying here again over a pricier motel that we have been in Williams. read more

If I could I'd rate this place 1 star. Checked in this morning at 3am after driving 10hrs hoping to get some sleep. My room is a mosquito nest. I killed over 15 mosquitos in a 2hr period. Not exaggerating. My kids and I have countless bites. At this point, I doubt any of us will get sleep. Oh and to top it off, my bed sheets have blood stains. I knew the beds were going to be shit, but I didn't think they would be bloody. But with it being mosquito infested, I guess that makes sense. Skip this motel and drive 30 min to the next city. Traveling with a dog is quite different than traveling without one. On our vacation trip we ended up stopping at 3 different Motel 6 places. We were lucky in that each of them had been recently remodeled. The floors weren't carpeted and there was no ugly bedspread that we knew had never been washed. Motel 6 offers pet stays without a deposit and they are everywhere. This location worked for us. The biggest complaint I have is that there is no coffee pot in the rooms. I sure miss that especially when we're traveling because we sometimes leave before the office opens with the coffee pots in there. I also don't like the towels. They are rough and feel like they've been dried on a line instead of in a dryer. I wouldn't recommend using them on a baby or even on your own face. We would definitely stop here again if we needed another motel traveling through. read more

There were foreign hairs in my bed. I know this is a cheap hotel, so I had low expectations. It's fine to be spartan, and fairly loud, and bare-bones. Cleanliness, however, is non-negotiable. I'm okay with streaks on the mirror, some debris tucked under the bed, and even a few stains on the bedspread. Finding some human and animal hairs in my sheets when I opened the bed? No. Just no. Along with that, there was no apparent heat source so I froze all night. There was a thermostat thing but it only offered a fan. My phone said it was 60 degrees in the room when I woke up. I've never reviewed a hotel because I figure they're all the same but please, please, please avoid this place. Pay $10 more and get a hotel where you can sleep in the bed. In case you want other details: *Check in was easy and the clerk was competent. *There's a minifridge and microwave if you want to use it, though no coffee maker, and coffee in the check-in area from 6:00-9:00 am only. *Table, chairs, and TV with only 5 local channels and no guide. *Stand-up shower, good hot water, noisy bathroom fan. Soap only, no other toiletries or hair dryer. *Super noisy--it's right by the highway. I could also hear the microwave when it beeped next door. Some kind of unsavory characters seem to live here but they were respectful so I didn't feel overly nervous. *Only one deadbolt lock that was hard to engage and didn't make me feel super trusting. *Plenty of lights, easy to find switches. Ice machine. Vending in the lobby area. PLEASE, DON'T STAY HERE!! IT'S SO GROSS! read more

Clean, safe, inexpensive room neat I-5. Pleased that this bare basics room cam with a small fridge & microwave oven (only one other M6 I've been to had those). It was an accessible room, which made the room way easier to use than a regular room at M6. The only complaint I have about this room was there were zero electrical outlets on the wall with bed's headboard, except under the bed. I had to pull bed out to plug in my medical device. It would have been easy to have an outlet as part of the light switch for desk lamp. read more

We stayed one night last week. An overhead light was hanging by it's wires from the ceiling. The light next to the bed didn't work. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. Worst of all the toilet was backed up. I have stayed there a few times over the years and it has been going downhill consistently. Lack of maintenance. On our return trip we stayed at the Sure Stay which was slightly cheaper and much nicer. read more

I have two phobias: dentistry and small towns. So given that, I was already pretty nervous when I was checking in because oh my god does Williams embrace its small-townishness. Bonus was that it was right around Halloween, so local places were going out of their way to dress up an already creepy town into further creepiness. Still, I was disappointed in this hotel. Small things, like not having soap or those tiny bottles of shampoo were irritating. The toilet paper was almost gone in a small reminder that many many butts have sat nude on this seat before yours. The biggest complaint I have is that the walk to the furthest point of the second floor of the motel is creepy as hell. It wasn't well-lit, it was facing a dark void of nothing and I was sweating bullets and suffering an overactive imagination by the time I got into my room. That said, there wasn't anything gross or negligent and for such a low price (around $40), it was fair. However, I stayed in Oroville, CA on the trip back home and had a much, much more pleasant experience. read more

During the power outages (2019) in clearlake on my way to clearlake the rooms were advertised at $40 or $49 on the freeway sign. When I came back after the power went out at my clearlake hotel they charged my $89 for one night. Taking advantage of people effected by the shut downs. Came by today Feb 2020 and their prices were in the $60s. Stayed at econo lodge for a better corporate rate with breakfast included. They didn't leave the lights on for me. Terrible. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but this place inspired me. We paid for a queen bed but what we slept in had to have been a full (I sleep in a queen every night and this was definitely smaller) and felt literally like a pull-out sofa. Most uncomfortable motel bed I've ever slept in. The covers were also incredibly thin. My girlfriend had to get up in the middle of the night to turn off the AC because we were freezing even snuggled up together. The bathroom was dirty and it didn't look like the shower had been cleaned in months; there was a ring around the bottom. The toilet clogged after the second use. I was also surprised that no complimentary shampoo or conditioner was provided, just a tiny bar of soap on the sink. The door was very very very hard to open with the card and when we got it open, it was hard to close. I had to slam it to close it. The handle wouldn't even turn and I had to jiggle it rapidly to get it to unlatch, very dangerous in case of an emergency like a fire. Staff was friendly, the room smelled fine and the parking was fine. TV worked, though no guide to tell what the channels were or what was on. For nearly $70, I expected more than these few positives. If I had paid $30 for the night it would have felt more like I got what I paid for. read more

Missing many of the things you'd expect from a motel - shampoo, hair dryer, iron, etc., but there's a pool, the room was clean, and the man at the front desk was quite friendly -- oh and the room was only $50. We booked a month in advanced on one of the travel sites and when we arrived the price of the same room was raised to more then the other motels in the area ......classic bait and switch tactic. Horrible experience. We found tons of grasshoppers and a nasty spider. I asked for another room, they were out of rooms, he gave me back my refund. I did show the employee the picture of the spider, but he didn't seem to care at all. I'm not sure what kind of spider it was but it was very big, white and furry. About 3 inches wide, with some black on it. I was surprise how they didn't care at all, I'm only worried for the person who will be cleaning the room. read more

The "Non-smoking" rooms smelled like smoke, but the upside-down ashtray on the night stand had a no smoking sticker on the bottom of it, so it must have just been me. ;) The room was small, both of the double beds were pushed against the walls in the corners (only able to walk up to each bed from the middle of the room). May have been fine for 2 people, but with 4, we had to crawl over each other. The bathroom was nice and clean, looked newly remodeled. Best price around. Good enough for an overnight stop. First, why do I have to pay for a fridge & microwave in the room?? This isn't a hostel. & paying $4 a DAY for wifi? McDONALDS has free wifi. Why doesn't motel 6? I've stayed at plenty but, never had to pay extra to have a fridge, microwave, or wifi. So after an extra $50+ dollars (even though I spent over $400 on the reservation) I was already heated. Keep in mind I'm a housekeeper for a hotel in my area. Getting into the room, I found TOENAIL clippings in the chair. The fitted sheets were on inside out, hair all in the bed, the fan in the bathroom was completely exposed & clogged with dirt. With the switch turning on both the fan & light, I had no choice but to breathe in that filth. They supplied only 2 bars of soap for an eight day stay. No small 2oz shampoo & conditioner. Also NO ALARM CLOCK in the room?? No pen, no paper, no Kleenex. They have signs all over stating not to leave the room doors open due to bugs?! The phone would not receive calls the entire time I was there. Only making calls out. The staff seemed so uninterested in anything but themselves & not willing to help what so ever. Won't be back. This place is kinda sketchy. THere were dead bugs all over the place when I checked in, but I guess you can't blame a place for being in the middle of a field full of bugs. I got my room, got my WiFi code and settled down. I do not believe you can legally call the flat pieces of fabric they supplied pillows, but alas, that was what they expected you to use. The comforter was in pretty bad shape. No bedbugs, from what I saw or felt, and I always check. I drove 13 hours from the Olympic Peninsula. Checked in at this motel 6 in Williams, CA at 7:30. Paid with a credit card. Got settled in my room. Went to sleep. AT 1am I hear what sounds like a tap at the door but its so faint I assume its the next room over. Then the night manager literally opens my door with his card key. I get up and look thru the crack in the door to find a creepy night manager muttering "front desk, front desk". I open the door fully and he mutters something about me not having paid for my room yet. I say "I paid with credit card. Go away. Its 1 oclock in the morning" and shut the door. Same guy was at the front desk in the morning. I told him he was way out of line thinking he could just use his key to open someone's room in the middle of the night. Seemed like a moron. Kept trying to tell me he couldn't find my check in paper (in broken English, so that is what I think we was trying to say). I just gave him my key and walked out pissed off. I checked my CC statement and the charge was on there. This idiot just doesn't know how to use their paperless system and thought it was totally reasonable to open my door in the middle of the night. I wont be back to this little creepshow. I'm still pissed off. WTF. read more

I've stayed at more than a few Motel 6s' for their value and pet-friendliness, so I'm no stranger to the franchise. I chose this location as it was a solid halfway point for my regular Los Angeles to Portland trip, and I had left so late that day that I needed to stay the night. It's not the nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at, as my room had not been updated with the more modern bathrooms that some locations have (it appeared that this Motel 6 was undergoing renovations through many of the rooms during my stay). The room was very basic, with the cleanliness being an 8 out of 10, but for cable, a shower, and pet-friendliness, I'm not complaining. It's no-frills accommodations, but anyone who is really expecting much more than that should stay someplace else. For $40 a night it's a good value. read more
