SpareZ is a great place for fun if you are looking to spend quality time with friends or family. I have been here a handful of time over the past few years and all of my experiences have been pleasant. They seem to be renovating as the computer systems and shoes are brand new as of last visit (3/10/18). This is nice. The fact that the have a full bar (think pitchers of beer, shots and cocktails) makes this place even better. Although I haven't tried the entrees the selection looks pretty good. I do know the popcorn is great! Check out the specials! read more

So I went on a family outing and overall my experience was OKAY .. it wasn't busy when I arrived but they was a lack of service it took almost 20 mins for us to pay for our games and shoes.. we got to our lane and it took another 20 mins for us to get to get a server overall we had a great time... but what's a great time without great service? read more

Hated it! Overcooked food, had to argue to get it replaced, confusing on who's order was who's. While that time was wasted of course the timer is running for my bowling game. So I only bowled 15 minutes and the manager Reggie shrugged his shoulders and couldn't care less. Never again! Won't pay to be disrespected and listen to their foul mouthed staff. Go somewhere else!! read more

Horrible customer service experience I came into your establishment and waited thirty minutes at the door before being greeted and serviced. Then also embarrassed by your manager (Scott) by refusing to serve me. As we arrived we were not greeted or given direction by the young lady sitting at the front door. After standing there for thirty minutes, she says to me that we are waiting on the hostess who walked past back and forth several times. The entire time we waited none of your associates showed any empathy to us standing there. Instead there was more than 4 associates and the current manager on duty (Scott) huddled at the register oblivious to us and the people now waiting behind us. Any one of of them could of assisted. It is sad to say that your manager does not show customer service values to your loyal customers. Scott did not respond to me after I asked him several questions on the wait (He just looked away and ignored me). He also told the associate to refund my money and refused services. I will inform my family and friends of this situation, and make them aware of your customer service. Thank you. read more

Have been coming here for years. They've recently renovated the area and it looks much better. The service was pretty good and they were very accommodating. We were there for a team building event. Everything was set up to our liking, including the food and drinks. Food was sub par, as well as drinks. read more

January 25, 2020 we had my twin grandchildren's 15th birthday party at Sparz. The attention provided to party was amazing. Several parties were going on but each group is assigned a person that takes care of your group from set up, serving, replenishing items as needed, packing up leftovers, cleaning up. The chicken tenders were huge and delicious. Pizza and mozzarella sticks were also great. We've had parties for them in the past and have attended parties at Sparz. Always great service and fabulous food. Excellent pricing as well. Only negative the sign at the entrance on university is easily missed. They need better signage. Thank you Anna for your great attention to our party. read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. I hated it here!! I came with a big group RESERVATION! As soon as we got there a few of us was able to order food. We started to bowl & got hungry. When we went to order they saw how big the group was & didn't take our orders, just closed the kitchen right in our faces! At this point, this ruined our whole mood & we couldn't even enjoy our time there. Last Visit .. read more

your new website really sucks, air conditioning sucks, snack bar prices are insane, the carpet in front of control desk is filthy, the floors have trash all over the place, the approach to the lanes are dirty, very little lane conditioning is used read more

I'm still a fan of this place because every single time I go, I have a good time. The prices are reasonable and they open really late. The music is loud and mainstream so if you are looking for quiet, go somewhere else. The crowd can be a bit rowdy and forget some common bowling etiquette, but I'm only judging by the weekend night crowd. Go check them out and have fun. read more

So much fun! A group of 4 of us came here for my sisters birthday party and we all had a blast. Food was great, and our time here was very fun. We came on a Friday at 4:00pm, so it wasn't busy! Staff was able to help us whenever we needed any assistance and it was great. Don't forget to check-in so you can get 15 minutes of free bowling play! Place was clean and so were the bathrooms. Looking forward to coming back soon! read more

I recently went on a Sunday evening. There were quite a few people, but plenty of open lanes. It was $40 for a family of four to rent shoes and bowl for an hour. The process of finding the right shoes and getting started went fairly quickly. We had a lot of fun. The vibe was good and the music was upbeat. My only complaint is lane 16 seemed to display some mechanical issues causing us to have no clear winner since it acted up right at the end, but I'm pretty sure I was the top bowler that day. ;) This place definitely needs some care to fix a few odds and ends here and there. Other than that, we had a great time. read more

Broken lane, super inconvenient. Broken up lane, poor quality. Expected more. Definitely know to not come back nor recommend.

Went there for New Years Eve. They had a New Years Eve Bash which was very affordable. The staff was very helpful, even though they did take a while to recover one of the bowling balls that we got stuck in the gutter. This alley is laid back and extremely fun. Not too flashy, like some of the other alleys that are in Miami, but I would definitely go again and it's very affordable to go there. I would definitely go back and recommend others to go because I think its a great place to have family fun or even a date! read more

This was the nicest bowling alley I have visited in years. Extremely clean floors, nothing sticky or greasy. The air didn't smell like feet, and the bathrooms were very clean. This place is huge, with 30+ lanes, a full bar, and two concession stands. It was $25 per hour for all you can bowl, I went with 4 other people so for 2 hours of bowling it was a great deal, only $16 for bowling and shoe rental. read more

If I could give this bowling alley ZERO stars, I would. Don't bowl here. First off, OVERPRICED! The lanes are not in the best shape. they're cracked and need to be replaced. We paid for an hour of bowling and then they shut my lane off with 30 minutes left because the children that I was bowling with hit the pin setter. The kids are under 10 years old. They make it seem like we purposely did it. THEY DIDN'T EVEN WARN US THAT IF YOU DO THAT THEN THEY WILL SHUT YOUR LANE OFF WITH NO REFUND. The bumpers don't even work; the left side would go up and the other side wouldn't. If the bumpers were functioning properly, this wouldn't be an issue. After talking to the front desk, they told me that they didn't need to warn me and then they told me they would turn it back on and never did. The people working the front desk doesn't care what you have to say. Also, The hour of bowling starts even before you start bowling. The bathrooms were a mess like it doesn't get cleaned daily. You can't even ask for a cup or ice unless you purchase a pitcher of drinks. The food wasn't even good. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Take your money and bowl somewhere else, there's plenty of bowling alleys nearby within a 5 mile radius. read more

I just celebrated my son 15th Birthday and man oh man did we have such a blast!!! Thanks to Manager Alex and his crew that made it all possible. First things first, I called in such a short notice ( 3 days prior to his birthday). Jennifer was very kind and patient . I was undecided selecting a package so I called back on the day of the event and spoke to a wonderful gentlemen name Terrence! Not only was he professional but he also had some pretty good suggestions, going over each package that was suitable for our group size. Taking Terrence advise was the perfect choice! Now, jazmin who checked us in, was soooo delightful and PATIENT. Jazmin and Manger Breshaud even arranged for us to have all 5lanes together even at the last minute. Both Managers Alex and Breshaud were professional and accommodating and we couldn't do it with out you. Thank you all of you for creating such a memorable night. read more

A group of friends and I went there Saturday night. We found the place to be unorganized and overpriced. Starting with reserving a lane, instead of going to the front desk, you have to go to the sales office. I had to wait in line, just for someone to tell me that. I would have assumed the sales office was for booking parties and large events. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get our shoes. The cost after 9 or 9:30 went up by about $10, (compared to reserving a lane at 8:30) and I didn't notice any difference (such as the lights being out). Lastly, the music they played seemed to sound all the same, there was little variety and it was geared to teenage preferences. The one thing I enjoyed was the zucchini fries in the snack bar. They were yummy. read more

$50 for 4 adults and 2 kids show rental and to bowl 1 hour on a weekend night. We had fun... but be aware that your time gets eaten up fast when you have to wait for someone to fix a problem with your lane. Not the best lanes but this is also not for the serious bowler. read more

We went on a Saturday night and it was obviously packed. We didn't have to wait long at all to get a lane though. The room where the bar is, legit smelled like sour cheese. The music started off really good they had a dj from 99 jamz playing songs you hear on the radio and we were vibing but then it got progressively louder until I felt like I was at a club & all of a sudden they kept playing hardcore dancehall songs. ? Food was ok I guess, it could've been the alcohol but I actually kinda liked their chicken quesadillas. Either way I'd rather hit up AMF. read more

Tonight was eye opening for me. I will not be coming back here to bring my children, friends or colleagues. My son had to go in earlier today to make reservations. When we arrived we had to wait for a woman that was over an hour late. Clarence knew we were there on time so he didn't deduct any time. I paid for 2 hours of bowling and we told to go to aisle #31. I waited over 40 minutes and had to talk to a total of 4 people before we were moved to aisle 30. We moved, but someone forgot to tell the ladies at #30 that they had to move to #2. The two ladies that tried helping me,and were very nice and attentive were Tenaya and Tiffany. They helped me keep my cool. I was so upset, but I couldn't stay mad at them, because they were really trying to make things right. We were finally able to start bowling. Some people let their kids walk freely and bowl for my son or just walk in front of us while we were trying to bowl. This place has gotten so GHETTO when we were leaving there was a bunch of young adults smoking Marijuana right in front of their establishment. The smell turns my stomach. That was the last straw for me.I will not be coming back to this bowling alley. It makes me sad, because I've been bringing my boys since they were kids. Thanks again to Tiffany and Tenaya. I appreciate you both. Keep up the good work!! read more

It's a nice venue and had no issue with enjoying myself but the staff lack personality and are very rude. Our Cashier at the counter didn't help us nor direct us to the lane we were rent nor told us that what include in the price of 41.00 for 2 people to bowl. It's very upsetting to spend money on drinks food as well as entertainment and to not have anyone ask or direct us to the bar or eating area or if we have a waitress. I won't be spending my money there it's a family place but I do like to see if the employee care about the patrons that are spending money in a establishment read more

This time the family really didn't have a good time. It was really really crowded. Many people don't know about bowling etiquette. They were standing in our bowling lane and both groups on either side of were awful. We kept getting fouls because of them. When it Not crowed the atmosphere and bowling is fun. DO NOT give Sparez your business! I was there last night for an outing with my staff for their Friday Night Lightning Strikes bowling for about 3 hours and as we're leaving, my car is completely vandalized. I was parked central and even up close to the main entrance. Of course, the urban crowd this place attracts operate under a hood mentality of "no snitching" and obviously just watch as property is damaged out in the open and say nothing. I asked Manager for camera footage and was told they had none. They also have armed security guards inside that also do ABSOLUTELY nothing! When I called Davie police, they advised me not to bowl here in the future due to the crowd also. They claim to always get weekly calls of reported vandalism, theft, fights, and gun violence. Also employees are blatantly stealing money as they will ask you to pay cash for food and give you a "LOWER PRICE" and no receipt, meanwhile blatantly pocketing the money. Stay away unless you are a criminal and want to take advantage of a business with no working cameras! Go for it, you'll get away with it! read more

SpareZ - Car Vandalized at SpareZ. 01/19/18 - Bowling Near Me - Davie, Florida

Haven't bowled at Sparez in a few years, I normally bowl at AMF houses but have not been happy with them getting cheap on the oil so I decided to give it another chance. The renovations are beautiful, the lane conditions are great but the staff is awful. I've been here 2 Sundays in a row to take advantage of their awesome Sunday morning hourly rates. However this is the second Sunday in a row my lane has had a ball return issue (no problems there, it happens everywhere) but after telling a staff member the first week, we waited about 5 minutes, the lane went dark so we assumed it was being fixed. After 15 minutes we asked the same staff member who told us "oh, nobody told us" this week, again, ball return, let a staff member know. After 10 minutes, nothing... so we went and told a different staff member (since no one answers the intercom even though there 4 people up there that were not attending to any guests) and then the lane was fixed. Then there's the matter of there being no one at the snack bar and there's just a sign saying "order food at the front desk" however there's no menus or menu boards to know what's available to order. I understand that staffing can be an issue right now, but again when there are 4 staff members just talking to each other at the front desk why not have one of them man the snack bar, it seems that's missed revenue. It's a shame because I really would like to bowl here as it's closer to my house and the lane conditions are awesome. Sucks that such a simple thing as staff training and positioning let's this house down. read more

I have only been here twice and both on Saturday nights. I can't speak for the atmosphere here on regular week nights but if you are trying to bowl, I would recommend finding somewhere else less crowded. This place was packed with lots of teenagers. We had to wait an hour and a half to get a lane to bowl. It was definitely not that great of an experience but that could be do to the whole cosmic Saturday night bowl. What I did like about this place was the spacious bar they had were we waited. They serve food and there are pool tables and Foosball table in the bar area. I could only hope to imagine that during the week it probably is a lot easier to get a lane. read more
