Make sure you have a RSVP before you come else you'll be waiting 3 hours for a lane, even when you see so many lanes open. They def are short staffed. Decent bar spot to watch games, this place is huge! read more

To keep things short before going in on my experience, my family and I did have fun and appreciated all the social distancing & mask wearing. However we did experience rude management. Upon arrival we were told that it would be a 30 minute wait which we were fine with. Those 30 minutes then turned into almost an 90 minutes. My god mother then decided to speak to a a manger after staff had been pushing the time and we have seen other customers get their lanes before us. We were told we were now speaking to a manager and it was clear he was just a regular employee. With all the going back abs forth you would think we received a free game or some discount but no. Didn't bother taking photos since I was frustrated at the time. read more

We were in Florida visiting from NJ. We were recommended to come here by a family member. I called and they said they had lanes. We arrived. Counter girl told us that we could add on time if we wanted after an hour. We had several technical difficulties with our first game. We called over a worker. He just kept saying, "I've never seen what your talking about happen." Umm so did we make it up? It was skipping bowlers -- therefore cheating us of game time. The game stopped in middle of game three. Went up to pay for more time at which time we were told the lane was no longer available. Initially we were told it would be. I would never recommend this alley to anyone. It's overpriced. Unprofessional and staff is snarky and rude. Find another alley this one doesn't deserve your business read more

Celebrates my moms birthday here. I'll start with the positives - food taste was good over all & the lanes and venue were clean. Apart from that the lack of organization and short staff ended up costing me more money and ruined the flow of the Birthday Bartender was out (apparently at another event...‍ that's what were were told) so ordering from the bar was a mission. Food was suppose to take 15-20 mins.. took almost an hour and a half (into our 2 hour bowling window) We had to order two buckets of beer ($22 each) just to keep guest entertained while we waited for our food ( did we mention there was no bartender? That took forever too) When the food finally arrived we asked the server/ food runner if she would take away w of the empty bottles and food trays (we joined several food items together to save space) and she looked at us like we had 5 heads .. and walked away - with out taking some of the trash Overall not worth the $175 we spent on two hours of bowling) read more

For me, its all about the difference makers, and SpareZ has them all. I have not been here for midnight bowling so that may be a different experience, but I came during the day with the kids and it was great. everything is electronic. You can put the bumpers up and down for each bowler. There are cool screens and electronics at each lane. They have lots of balls to choose from, and plenty of the slides that help small kids bowl. The place was clean and well lit. Everyone was friendly. They even have a few decent coupons on their website to save a little coin. If a fun day of bowling on high tech lanes in a nice, big, clean alley is your jam, check out SpareZ. You will enjoy yourself! read more

I came here on a Friday night for a work event! We host this event every year at this same location and I've gone for the last five years. Each time the customer service has always been great! We have never had any issues. The place is always clean and the staff are always friendly. The food was delicious especially with the chicken wings! I also tired the pizza and it's decent! This place can get pretty crowded so it's best to get here early! I can say that they are big on safety, as we had a kid run down a lane and staff immediately came to help and advised of the dangers! Great job read more

I am really impressed with this Sparez location. It's huge, they have like 60 lanes and their establishment is clean. There is plenty of seating, shoes, and bowling balls to come around. Their chicken wings and pizza are quite good for a bowling alley and they even have their own restaurant/bar area that serves drinks and food. This place is good for adult groups and family events, especially birthday parties! We hosted my youngest sisters birthday party here and I am very happy with their offerings and services. We got our own hostess who sat us up with tables and balloons. We even got a real bowling pin for all the kids to sign and the birthday girl to take home. They personalize the screens for your lane and provide extra tables if you need them for cake, extra food, and presents. Overall it was really well done. The kids got two lanes and the adults got one. For 2 hours the kids get to bowl the whole time and the adults get 1 hr and 15 minutes. This works out because the end gives us time for cake and food. It's a great environment and they place you with enough space for your party in the alleys. I will be coming back here with my friends and will definitely recommend this place to others who are considering throwing a birthday party here. read more

If you like hair in your food and no help to resolve the issue? This is your place to go. Some of the bowling lanes wood is cracked and split, the balls are chipped and the machines don't pick up the pins well. Very dissatisfied but set me over the limit when I received my food and it came with hair in it. The staff didn't know how to give a refund, the manager(named Jasmine) was no where to be found, there was nobody at the front desk to help. I go bowling a couple times a week, never had much issues with this place but they now lost my business. The workers the mangers all must hate their job because it is not a friendly environment to be in. HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND read more

I've been bowling at this location since I was in middle school. It finally got the face left it needed. Can't wait to see it all finished. The customer service as improved tremendously. Kudos to management. I would definitely come back for some more fun. Just needs more balls. Because every time I come in I have to hunt for one. Lol... looking forward to coming in on Wednesday's seems like a night full of fun. Not to mention they have a pretty sweet early bird special on Sunday mornings read more

I organized my son's 13th birthday party here. Both kids and adults had a blast. They have birthday packages. No outside food is allowed (except birthday cake) but the birthday packages include food and drinks. The manager, Matt, helped me pick a package that would work for my party size (20). Mine included unlimited soda/lemonade/water, 4 large pizzas and 100 chicken wings. We had plenty of chicken wings left. EVERYONE loved the pizzas; they thought they were catered from somewhere else It includes some decorations (a few balloons and long white table cloth for the main table), but I suggest you bring your own decorations if you want it to be more colorful/ theme specific. Our server Denise B. was so patient and accommodating. Thank you, Denise & Matt! My son had an amazing birthday! I completely recommend Sparez for a fun birthday party! read more

So I came here once. Not because I didn't like but simply because it was way too far for me. If I lived closer, I would probably frequent it a little more. This place is huge and I we didn't have a problem with reserving lanes. I believe we went on an urban night so the music was primarily that genre, which was kind of ok. I honestly like a variety. It wasn't super packed even though this was peak time for them. Apparently it's like the hang out spot on Saturday nights. read more

Fun! Clean! Large! COVID-friendly! Nice employees! Fun options on bowling screen! Decent prices! I'll definitely be back.

Ordered food from the bar and it literally took 45min for cheese fries and that's only because we asked the manager about our food because it must've been sitting in the back. After no longer wanting our cold food, the manager was making rude comments and remarks about us wanting a refund on our food. Also I ordered a Stella and when I checked receipt they charged me for 16oz draft, the cup they gave me was 10oz and when I mentioned it he said those were his only cups and he charges everyone like that. Next time I'll bowl somewhere else read more

We went with my family to celebrate the birthday of one of my daughters and it was very fun, we all had a great time. Typical bowling alley, plenty of lanes and general family friendly music and games over the audio to engage the kids. okay so i went last week & 15 mins into play, everything just shut down. they gave us a free hr so we went tonight and again, bad experience. they mixed up the food, the lanes were glitching or something, ppl were stealing our 3 balls right in front of us w no shame, outside in the parking lot a girl was alone asking for money (which i gave bc humanity) but it's sketch. go somewhere else :) read more

Great place to take the kids , Friday nights are fun and the music gets good with a touch of hip hop but no explicit language. They have nightly give aways and nice staff. If the setup could be a little more organized I would be inclined to give it an additional star. The wait for 1-2 hours on a Friday or Saturday can be frustrating. My advice, play better music at an earlier time so more people would be inclined to come earlier instead of the rush at 8 pm. Clean the damn bathrooms every hour, offer free water. read more

As a former employee I loved working there because of the guests you all made what I did worth being tired I wish they had training a and even better leaders to look up to ones who listen help and give a damn about their employees and appreciate them what I can say I both the op manager and their cfo are definitely in the wrong lone of work communication to the lower employees is non existent and you get manipulative mangers who blatantly lie or ignore the issues especially ones who give the ok to do something and conveniently are not in the meeting but just a reminder I was the one who helped when blue diamond was shot when everyone hid I gave a damn about the guests not the money good luck everyone read more

Do not waste your time. This place is so disorganized. Even if you make a reservation you still have to wait in line. Too many other options around the Davie area. Go elsewhere. read more

Do not go to this place. Complete disaster... I'm quite certain this place is run by a mob boss. Note to owner, this place could be run so much more efficient. Here's a list of 8 FREE tips to make your place run more efficiently. 1. Entertainment - play better music, maybe a dj or live music instead of low volume unpopular music I cant hear. 2. We sat next to A dirty diaper and table waiting for a lane for over an hour. Our lane and table was unclean with food items when we got there. Yes it is a busy night but again simple management can resolve little issues and makes a HUGE difference. -1 for cleanliness. 3. We sat and watched three empty lanes for over 20 minutes when the wait list for a lane is over an hour. 4. Better decor, lighting music in the bar would draw people into the bar rather than yelling to customers to go to the bar or arcade over the speaker ever 5 min. 5. You've had security "issues" in the past and people waiting or just loitering in the lobby entrance can be resolved with wristbands and telling people they have to wait in the bar. Not the lobby. Then your security can actually enforce something rather than stand at the door and welcome everyone with a smile. 6. As I sit waiting I see the manager and supervisor give directions to about three employees. Shouldn't they already know what to do? Isn't every Tuesday like this? Specific job responsibilities and clear tasks can alleviate headache and chaos. 7. Marketing tip--- have people reserve lane day and times and prepay online or create an app. (Duh) 8. After our patient and observant wait, When we get to the counter the cashier does not offer two dollar Tuesdays although it states it clearly on the website with todays date. The supervisor who comes to attempt to make the change, says the button is not active to honor the price. We pay and she has the courtesy to say thank you and walks away. Really?! Wow... no, Thank you management !! To be quite frank. This is a hang out for teens. I did not feel safe here. This place is poorly run. The place was so crowded with people hanging out. I could barely walk. What am I paying for?! This is not a cool bowling spot to enjoy music food and bowling. read more

Sparez is HUGE and has a cool bar/ stage area for bands or private parties. We joined a league here to get know people in the area and we're happy we did. It's been almost 6mos since our league began and we're seeing a ton of upgrades & improvements being made so far. They recently re-did all the lanes and just upgraded all the screens too. Now you're able to "chat" aka talk trash to fellow teams from your personal screen on your table- haha fun! Oh best part: you can add your pic to your profile so whenever it's your turn, not only does your name light up on the big screen but so does your pretty face....you don't have to threaten me w/ a good time! Only thing I would upgrade is the level of service...the servers are on the slow side and so is the food (kind of pricey for a bowling alley) coming out of the kitchen. read more

I am not a great bowler, by any stretch of the imagination, but I had a ball at SpareZ. This was actually my second time coming to this particular bowling alley & both times, I had a blast. On Friday and Saturday night at 9 pm, 99 JAMZ, is in the house; spinning the latest hits and videos. Imagine a psuedo club scene, with the laid back fun of bowling, complete with games, contests, line dancing, drinks and laughter. By the way the more $5 long island ice teas you consume, the more gutter balls you will bowl. I paid $34 for an hour lane, for two, including bowling shoes. So it was a reasonably priced. That hour goes incredibly fast!!!! Grab a group of friends or bring the kids and family and hit Sparz!!! Your guaranteed to have a Blast!!! read more

I was here today for a company sponsored event. We had several lanes taken reserved. I want to say maybe 10 lanes or so and we had 2 hours to bowl. We had a great time. First thing I always here about bowling lanes are the bowling shoes have bad smell and are in bad shape. Not these, they where very well kept and didn't have any foul smell or odor. There was also a large selection of bowling balls as well from paper weight to the dumbbell size. The staff was very helpful and provided refreshments and food for us. We had a great time thanks to the staff and Infinity Insurance Co and the Hispanic Association of Agents who hosted the event. It's good to know proceeded went to a great cause. Not to mention we had a great time. I will be coming again. read more

Came in with a party of 6. Asked for 2 games per person. I was told the options were $43 for everyone to bowl two games or $63 for the hour. Fun place to be. I have been here few times. I recommend looking their website for specials and to expedite the check in process. Even better, you may make a reservation online. I did so last Thursday $50.= for 4 Bowlers, 2 Hours of play, Appetizers and a Jar of Soda. Good deal! The food was no good though, and it took for ever and the soda never came in. Yet, it was a good deal just because of the time given to play and the shoes were included. Furthermore, the check in was very smooth as they have a dedicated person to attend reservations. I was there yesterday, Wednesday night, they turned up the music at night and put the lights on. I paid about $18.= +tax for an hour of play plus the cost of the shoes. I had plenty of fun. It is a clean place and good family atmosphere. read more

Went bowling with friends last night and they wanted to go here instead my usual spot - Bird Bowl. Gotta say I was not disappointed. The food was so much better here and so many options. Unlike at Bird Bowl, we didn't have to share the food table and the computers were much more modern. The music was poppin'. STAY AWAY!!!! this place is full of thugs. We were here for just under two hours and our car got broken into in the parking lot. They robbed us of over $1000 worth of valuables plus destroyed two car windows. The "manager" on duty claims he has no access to security cameras. And also claims there are no cameras pointing in the parking lot. He then told us there was another break in two months ago. Doesn't that tell you that there is a problem here at your establishment? When the police came, they told us there have also been shoot outs in this parking lot. Sparez is a crime riddled establishment and does nothing to keep staff and Customers safe. They are aware of the crime that goes on at this establishment yet they have no protocols or anything in place to help prevent it. They need better lighting in the parking lot, panic buttons on the light post, cameras/security footage that covers every inch of the establishment, and most importantly police detail!!! I can't believe I used to come here as a child and how much this place has declined. I did not feel safe at all inside this place, and now even your car isn't safe in the parking lot. I will never return here ever again, and I would Advise everybody to stay far away as it is unsafe and will continue to be unsafe because the company does nothing to protect anybody. Simply unacceptable, especially here in DAVIE! read more

Although the holidays might not be a great time to gather a group and go bowling on a Saturday night, a group of us ventured out and walked in not knowing what to expect. The place was jammed packed with birthday parties and large groups like ours. There was a bit of disorganization when it came to standing in line, as there wasn't a straight line to be called from, but we all civilly improvised and made it to a register. Altogether, it was a short 10 minute wait. They were fully staffed, including two managers, a DJ (who made the experience even more fun calling out random things in order for people to win free games), a fully operating grill and bar, as well as a state-of-the-art computer system. They also have the cutest purple dragon tail slide for the younger kids to use, in addition to the bumper guards. These can be set automatically for the players who need it, each time their turn comes up! Other bowling alleys don't have this option. Once the bumpers are set, every player must use them. Furthermore, I really liked being able to use a free game through my Yelp check-in, although it was a bit misleading, since it turns out being 15 minutes added to your game versus an entire free game. Either way, we had a lot of fun, ate the very common fried, fatty foods, and drank pitchers of soda and beer. If there is anything they could have improved upon, was clearing/cleaning out the lanes of shoes, extra balls, and more importantly, food and drinks for the next group up. Withal, I recommend this bowling venue and we are sure to return! read more

Updated (12/2017) This time around, I truly can give a 5/5 rating. I was greeted by all staff, but Gavin stood out the most. He was attentive to my party's needs - Food was hot and fresh, music was appropriate and the overall atmosphere was well organized. Will be coming back again. Perfect place for parties (business and personal). Original (8/2017) No place is perfect, however I commend management for making sure their customers are well taken care of. Food (pizza & wings) was good and plentiful, but i suggest byo dessert (cake, cupcakes, etc) what is included was not so great. Took off a star because it was a bit warm in there, though they did have a big fan set up close by. I did notice some a/c repair trucks outside so it looks like it's being taken care of.
