I had a chance to check out Pinstripes this past Saturday for the milestone Birthday of a best friend. Like the Chuck E Cheese of our much younger years, Pinstripes has both the main dining room as well as private dining areas like our group celebrated at. They also have an outdoor terrace as well as a few bowling lanes (hence the name). I believe they even have a bocce ball lane in the upstairs space. It is a fun spot to celebrate at! Logistically, they even have free underground parking. They have various buffet stations in the main dining area ranging from indulgent brunch classics to healthy items such as the yogurt parfait I tasted to not feel so bad after my morning HIIT class :) Our very attentive server kept the mimosas flowing, as well as bloody marys for those inclined. She also mentioned about the rooftop bachata class which I personally passed on, but my friends including the birthday boy enjoyed. Besides the mimis, my food selections were started at the meat carving station where my delicious selections included their maple glazed ham (get this!!!), fluffy waffles with fresh blueberries & creme fraiche to be enjoyed with their lightly crispy chicken tenders, as well as a slice of nutella pizza. As a nod to the HIIT class I did earlier in the morning, I also did enjoy a greek yogurt parfait with a generous serving of granola. My first visit to Pinstripes was to meet with my work colleagues for some good ole team building. It was great to get the ball down the lanes again after a long stint, in this stylish and modern bowling alley. With their lavishly large bar and dining area on the lower level, it's perfect for small, large, and really large groups, even if you're not here to bowl you can still have a fabulous HH with all the elegance you'd expect from Aventura and its outdoor Esplanade. The cocktails and bites served up perfectly --the drinks, like my martini, were expertly made and the spreads of pigs in blankets, crispy mozzarella sticks with marinara, flatbread, and calamari all recegreat feedback from the group. Pinstripes is a fun place with all sorts of activity. They offer soccer and bowling upstairs. My daughter and my cousin and I came here for a brunch. It was a very clean and spaces out area. There is a lot to choose from. I enjoyed everything but the prime rib just didn't have a lot of flavor. I also got a lox and bagel and that was pretty good. The bagel was very fresh. I also snagged a couple pieces of pizza. They were nice and hot and there were several varieties to choose from. There were several desserts like cookies, small piece of cake, cupcakes and their famous chocolate fountain. I love the chocolate fountain and the variety of goodies you can dip in the chocolate. Sodas, teas and coffee are included in the price. This brunch is only $35 per person and I believe it is well worth the price. read more

Can't you tell I love this place! Back with another review to try more food options and the food was absolutely delicious. The Gnocchi and vodka pasta came out so hot I couldn't wait to taste it. The flavors of the pasta marinating with each other there was a party in my mouth. The service is phenomenal our server kept checking on us and was very attentive. My favorite happy hour spot on Thursdays. They are on Miami Spice which is until the end of September. I have found my new favorite drink which is the limoncello martini. Came here for my friends birthday. Love the stylish,vintage, and fun decor. First we enjoyed a dinner that consisted of fish, steaks, burgers, and pasta. They messed up on the birthday girls fish but they made it right by giving her another order that was huge and delish. Once dinner was finished we made our way to our bowling reservation. It's only about $30 per person and that includes shoe rental. Your bowling section includes a comfy couch and table and of course a waiter. It was fun choosing our names and you can even change the background and post your picture on screen. The hour went by quickly and I never realized how much fun bowling can be. Pinstripes is a great addition to the Aventura Mall. It is one of the first restaurants to open in the new wing. The whole space for Pinstripes is huge! Multilevel with a really nice outside area for listening to music and watching the sports games on TV. We split the Caesar salad with sirloin steak. If I get a protein with this type of salad, it is always chicken. I wanted to try something different this time. The sirloin steak was cooked well. I didn't love it but it was ok. I don't think it goes with the Caesar salad but that was my personal taste. I tried the lasagna and this was very good. I am so picky about lasagna and was very surprises I really liked it. We also had a meatball appetizer. Something else I am super picky about and was shocked I loved the meatballs! At a bowling alley! Of couelrse, this is not your Dad's bowling alley. It is stunning. Ok back to the food. I had my eye on the chicken and goat cheese. I asked our server and she said it is a popular item. I l ordered it and thought it was very good. The chicken had a great flavor. I stopped by Pinstripes a couple of months ago with some coworkers for a bowling evening. What we didn't expect was to find happy hour in drinks and small bites! So it was a weekday, and we booked a line for an hour, that was around $20-20 each. While waiting for our group to arrive, some of us sit at the bar and to my surprise they have happy hour from Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. Beer and wine for $5 and cocktails for $10. They also have started for $12 and pizzas & flatbreads for $14. At the bar and at the line while you are playing too! I got some Pinot Grigio and it was delicious! Refreshing and delicate. We ordered some pizzas to share, Pepperoni and Margherita and were pretty good. Everybody was so nice from the hostess to the bartender and our server while playing. The place is beautiful! This place is cool. We reserved 2 hours of bowling for my daughter's birthday and brought along her friend. This is a more personal experience and not your typical loud, smelly and colorfully lit bowling alley. It almost feels like you're inside someone's home (a wealthy home of course). You can order food and drinks with one of the many wait staff members. All of them were super polite and friendly and very helpful as well (with helping us get set up on our lane). Truthfully, it was pricey compared to bowling we've done in the past. For 5 people, 2 hours of bowling was $250 but for the location and the quality of service and food, the price is the be expected. This place is beautiful and very large with a rooftop area which overlooks the beautiful parts of Miami. This place felt cozy and intimate and very family friendly. It is also a great date night place and so my husband and I plan to return without the kid very soon. We ordered small food to hold us over until our dinner reservation. The kids had pizza and sliders and my hubby and I shared a margharita pizza and fries. The food tasted really nice and was served hot and fresh. The pizza had fresh basil on it which I loved. We enjoyed our time there and I would definitely recommend it. It's great for family outings, or intimate parties and it's even great for a girls night out. Aventura Mall has really expanded to something phenomenal and I look forward to coming back to this beautiful location. read more

When my group 1st suggested this place for brunch, I didn't know how it would work out. I thought we'd be sitting in front of the bowling alley with round tables. That was not the case. They have totally elevated the experience and this is a full-blown restaurant. This establishment has marked all the boxes for the Aventura location. A beautiful dining location with a separate area for bowling, check, entertainment, and an upstairs terrace top for views. Couldn't believe it. We were able to have a dressed up brunch in a bowling alley! But the bowling alley is not where the restaurant is. Y hat's for another day or if you feel like it rent a pair of shoes and head right into the other room. Service was wonderful, they provide lots of adult fun and experience. The environment was fantastic. The buffet options were was delicious, and I mean everything that I tried. I would definitely return and maybe next time actually bowl instead of just eat. read more

We went for NYE. It is definitely a new restaurant, and they are working through their processes. As an example, the waiter brought main dishes before appetizers for some people. Also not everyone got their food at the same time. For dessert, someone suggested the crème brûlée cheesecake, but it was entirely too heavily to be considered crème brûlée. I would not recommend it, as it lacked delicious dessert flavor; and it was more dry than any cheesecake I have ever had. Payments were also sporadically attended. For some comic relief, the balloons that they wanted to release at midnight got stuck inside the net. They did hire a DJ for some dancing outside on the balcony, which was nice. read more

Officially, I would say my rating for this place is 3.75 out of 4. This place has lots a potential, it is in a great area, and has the ambience needed for a great night on the town. I've been here for brunch, and recently I came for bowling so I will share my experience for both. Pin stripes is a part of a bigger plaza that is beautiful and has a lot of potential for other space and businesses to come. You can tell that they are creating a social entertainment space so that is already a plus. Overall it's very modern and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. For brunch they do have buffet and it is estimated $50 to do it, the food was pretty good, but I would say compared to other buffet brunches I've been to they need to provide more offerings. It was a between lunch and breakfast foods. They had waffles, but no French toast or pancakes. There was an omelette station, but no boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese pizza, carving stations, salad, and a small fondue station. The food part was yummy for what they did have and I did not try the fondue station because I wish they had better variety for the dessert options. When I came for brunch, the customer service was pretty good. We also did the bottomless mimosas and we had many mimosas and didn't even have a slight buzz so we feel like that champagne is not alcoholic lol. For the bowling, this is where my disappointment does come in. Yes, the look of the place is beautiful, but there is an issue with spacing. I had four people in my party and the people on the other lanes all had at least four people in their party as well. Each lane comes with a small couch that can only fit two people comfortably, and three if we all sit with our legs together the whole time. Additionally, the couches for each lane are too close, and you share a table with the other lane. Of course when we actually walk up to bowl because all the lanes are connected I expect to be close to our neighbor lane, but I think when sitting down and socializing with your group and eating the space is too cramped at pin stripes. We were stepping over each other every time when it was someone's turn to bowl, and trying to figure out how to eat our food without being in the way. And what makes it worse there's four lanes in one room which is shaped like a square, so you have four groups of people in a room, it's extremely competing with the noise and conversation because we are so close. So personally, I think for the bowling I would only do again if it was a private party. Most bowling alleys, allow you to have your own area to eat and socialize, and sometimes people don't even bowl and they still are a part of your party ( everyone did bowl in our party). Lastly, our waiter was great, and she was very attentive and had a great personality. However, our game had officially ended, but we were still waiting for our bill and the dessert, in that time...another waitress brought a group over to lane to use it. And she lacked how to be customer centric. She walked up to us and stared at us as like we didn't belong and as if we were doing something wrong. She had other customers behind her who I guess she wanted to assign the lane to, she literally just stared us up and down. I guess assuming we would move because she stared at us with an unkind manner. She didn't say hi are you at this bay still or are you folks bowling..NOTHING to troubleshoot and take care of both parties as paying customers! just stared at us to moved, so I said something and I explained to her that we still had an open bill and we did play a game but It just recently ended. Her response.. she stared at me like I was a bother. Our waiter happened to be on her way back to us, and she basically told us to follow her and moved us to a table towards the back that we would sit and wait for the bill and our dessert. First, there was most certainly an empty lane behind us that no one was on and that easily could've helped resolve that issue. Secondly, I think the waiter who brought the new people over could've easily engaged with us to see how she could troubleshoot and understand that we just finished our game and was waiting on our bill. Third it lets me know that there is a lack of communication between the people sending the folks back and the actual waiters for the lane. Because how are you setting up another lane and you haven't closed out the bill yet. unfortunately, it left a bad taste in our mouth to end the night. Undecided if I will return. read more

My new favorite place! I have been back 6 times in the last month because they have a great Happy Hour, delicious food, great drinks and the entire staff is so wonderful...every single one of them. Today McKinley was absolutely fabulous! He couldn't have been better. The super manager Anthony Lopeza was great. Lobster flatbread was delicious as were the steak sliders. The Happy Hour wine was really good. Loved the Pinot Noir! They even brought a Birthday dessert which was super. What a great new place! They have bocce and bowling and a rooftop patio. What an amazing evening! We came on a Thursday, so there were half priced cocktails, which lol tasted delicious. Happy hour is from 3:30-6:30, so we had some $12 apps. For the entree, it was the pork chop, so big, almost thought it was a steak lol. After dinner, we played an hour of bowling upstairs and had dessert. The cheesecake had the chefs kiss for sure. Let me start with appearance. This place beautiful and clean and they appear to have over staffed on hostess desk. Got seated right away and was told my waitress would be with me and then we could get buffet which is where everything broke down. My wife got to the buffet and she tried to get the ravioli which they were stuck together. She then went to get caprese salad but no basil and only one tomato but a lot of mozzarella. Then I do have to say shrimp was deveined but again not deshelled and still had feet. Ok I do have to say carving station had roast beef and it was really good and cuts were big. When we realized what was wrong we mentioned to our waitress the issue. Her response was I will bring you a plate to dispose of the bad food. She really just had a bad attitude which I read other reviews that they complained about this. Our server was Maranda. She had an assistant tall skinny girl shadowing her that was very attentive. We came here on a Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago for brunch. We arrived less than an hour before the end of brunch. We were greeted by the manager when we entered and he was extremely nice and welcoming. We had two small children with us and everyone was patient and helpful. Although brunch was ending, we didn't feel rushed in any way. The presentation of everything was beautiful and the selections were fresh. The ambience here is very attractive. We had a nice table by the window and our server was Shayla. She was very attentive and friendly. I came on my birthday and she went out of her way to treat me to a mimosa for my special day. It was a very sweet gesture and really made my day. She even walked my little one over to the chocolate fountain and showed him how to dip his marshmallow. 5 stars for Pinstripes Aventura for a Baby Shower for 50 women. I would rate it 10 stars if i could. from the beginning, dealing with Marni in their catering department was incredible. She was super organized and didn't miss a detail. The catering department was very flexible. The room itself is gorgeous. On the day of the event, Ruben, Drew and Haley in management made sure the event went off without a hitch. Ale, Yomaira and Gregg were fantastic servers and answered to our every whim. The food was plentiful and delicious. They created a private brunch buffet menu for this private room. They don't nickel and dime you.
