I had the opportunity to try Cypress Golf through Yelp. I'll start by saying I'm not really a golfer, so this was a new experience for me beyond mini golf. The employee working was helpful and suggested an easier course for us, which I really appreciated given our skill level. From the outside, the place looks fairly small, but once inside it's actually pretty spacious. There's enough room for groups of around five people per bay, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The employee did step in and help us quickly each time we had an issue. That said, he was the only staff member there, and with three bays going at once, I could imagine how overwhelming it would be if multiple groups needed assistance at the same time. Overall, it was a decent experience and a good intro for beginners. Not too loud, decent music and a good selection of beverages. Each session is about an hour long. I would recommend for anyone wanting to try something new or get that indoor golf experience.

As a disclaimer, neither me nor my girlfriend are golfers, but we nonetheless decided to give this place a try. Ben, the owner, was super helpful in getting us started and giving us some tips on how to positions ourselves and grip a club. For the first half of our hour reservation, we did the driving range mode to see how far we could hit a ball (not very far unfortunately)...The screen with all of your stats and replays is really cool to see afterwards, and I imagine that can help someone looking to perfect their shot. All of the clubs are available to try out, but it seems like some other people brought their own clubs. For the second half of our reservation, we tried the putt-putt mode, which was really fun. There are a ton of different courses to try from, and it works really well. All told, I think this a great spot to do some golfing indoors and avoid the Florida heat and rain storms. But above all, this place has a super great and chill vibe, and seems like the perfect spot to hang out with friends. We can't wait to come back!!

Ben the owner of this place was super welcoming and showed us how to do the golfing. He made sure that my group and I were taken care of. They have three golfing lanes and a pool table. This place is very well decorated with golfing photos. We were there for about an hour and it was a very cool and entertaining experience. They offer an unlimited play membership for $209. The parking is free and close to the location.

Cypress golf is a great alternate option to the FL rain and heat! I liked that I was greeted right away when we arrived. They have a cozy little seating area and pool section which we also spent some time in before our bay was ready. The golf module is interactive and offers you multiple different types of golf courses which was dope as well. Cool new local place to try when you're looking for something to do! I do recommend!

We chose mini golf and it was cool, as we can see a play back of our swing.

Membership is private but considering other clubs In My opinion quite reasonable.. Clubhouse is absolutely outstanding with large gate to enter (Coded) and a giant plantation style clubhouse with all the amenities from the back porch and veranda overlooking to the course to the sunken dining room and ample bar area. Locker rooms are top notch for members with a small but very adequate guests locker room as well. Food in the dining room is really outstanding with over sized lunch sandwiches and a signature prime rib with dipping sauce topped with onion rings and horse radish sauce. Pro Shop is well stocked with clothing, supplies and various caddy shack items. Driving range and practice facility is second to none enormous with huge Tiff Eagle putting green various short holes to work on your short game, and large hitting area. Also top notch golf academy with top teaching pros with all the technical toys to work on your game with you. Golf course itself is very Florida like with water in play on 12 holes though Large OAK trees are not your normal Florida look. Well maintained but over watered or poorly drained makes the fairways very wet and no roll at all so it plays longer than the yardage. Downfall has to be the greens which can range from very good on some days to downright awful on others. Complete redesign of greens bunkers and holes coming next Spring / Summer along with new grass and drainage on all the fairways as well. 4 Star Facility heading towards Untouchable

If they want to keep it operational theyre way overdue for a maintenance check. It doesnt need much, no major overhaul, but I bet theres 1 small thing wrong with each of them. The majority of the cages are taped off and inoperative, the ones that allow you to put coins in hardly work. One cage launches balls straight but jams up after 2 pitches. Another throws all over the place. I keep giving it another shot in hopes that I get them on a day theyre working but now they dont work well enough to come back. $14 for 6 tokens, I got about 8 pitches total out of 4 tokens between 2 cages. I left my other 2 tokens for someone with more patience than me. The staff is super friendly and im sure they wouldve given me a refund but it just wasnt worth my time. Imagine going to a restaurant for steak you know will be awful, knowing they'll happily refund you. Whats the point in even going? Would you go bowling knowing after 2 frames the machine would break, but you get a refund? Why go bowl there at all. So much potential here as its in a great park at a great location. Im willing go bet for under $5k they can have it up an operating fully that would last over a year without maintenance. Great staff, mostly clean place, if you try it and dont succeed you'll get your money back, but it won't be worth your time until they hire some qualified maintenance. Its a shame, but for now 1 star as its just a waste of time and money.

No one to be found. Upon check-in, the lazy, unfriendly cashier at check-in, barely looked up from her phone to provide any type of assistance. The only thing I got was "Pompano"? I said, yes I'm here in Pompano. She said no are you a resident of Pompano and I said no I live elsewhere in the county. She said $65 And then went back to her phone. After a couple of minutes, she realized that she hadn't pushed a button to activate the credit card machine. Are you kidding me!? Now we get out on the course and no beverage cart, no ranger and ridiculously slow play. When we finally called for beverage service, we were told to place our order online and someone would be out. When the beverage cart attendant showed up, she didn't have our order, was not friendly and argued about our order and whether it was even placed. We had to produce evidence that it was placed, and that she simply had not received it as of yet. Did I mention that she was rude?! Needless to say, we never saw her again. Upon leaving, again, no one to clean clubs and no one to help us with our bags. The only good part of the day was going to the restaurant that is not owned by the city, Galuppi's and they took great care of us. Find another place to play because this place clearly doesn't have their act together nor do they understand the basics of customer service. If I were in business today and had any control of this organization, I would fire everyone in charge!
