There are numerous tee boxes that have little or no grass. Several tee boxes were move from areas that were terrible! The fairways are not too bad but once your ball gets into the rough, grass is dead or patchy at best. Some fairways are in awful condition. The greens are not bad but have areas you would expect at a poorly manicured public course. This is happening too often at this once beautiful layout. Not worth the cost of green fees.

Membership is private but considering other clubs In My opinion quite reasonable.. Clubhouse is absolutely outstanding with large gate to enter (Coded) and a giant plantation style clubhouse with all the amenities from the back porch and veranda overlooking to the course to the sunken dining room and ample bar area. Locker rooms are top notch for members with a small but very adequate guests locker room as well. Food in the dining room is really outstanding with over sized lunch sandwiches and a signature prime rib with dipping sauce topped with onion rings and horse radish sauce. Pro Shop is well stocked with clothing, supplies and various caddy shack items. Driving range and practice facility is second to none enormous with huge Tiff Eagle putting green various short holes to work on your short game, and large hitting area. Also top notch golf academy with top teaching pros with all the technical toys to work on your game with you. Golf course itself is very Florida like with water in play on 12 holes though Large OAK trees are not your normal Florida look. Well maintained but over watered or poorly drained makes the fairways very wet and no roll at all so it plays longer than the yardage. Downfall has to be the greens which can range from very good on some days to downright awful on others. Complete redesign of greens bunkers and holes coming next Spring / Summer along with new grass and drainage on all the fairways as well. 4 Star Facility heading towards Untouchable

I enjoy how places like this makes certain activities, more accessible and modernize for an average person that wouldn't usually go to a full golf course or country club per se. If you have some slightly competitive friends, I definitely recommend this as well since everyone gets to see their score as the activity goes on so that it keeps you motivated.

They immediately moved us over to another bay and gave extended us 20 minutes for the inconvenience. We didn't order food, but we did order cocktails. They were just okay. I highly recommend making a reservation coming during the day versus night because the price point is drastically different by day and time. We came on a Saturday from 12-2 and paid $40 for up to six people. The check in experience is phenomenal through their app. If you're looking to try something new on the weekend, check them out!

The parking is ample, and the pro shop where I made my purchase were good and easy to find. It seemed pretty simple. They have a reservation system that help to get golf times, and non members can get golf times during "season" with proper planning. The gift card is actually a card that can be loaded and reloaded to use anywhere that the City Of Sunrise has a fee to play. (Golf, Tennis, Pool, classes) It seems easy enough to use by swiping the card to pay. The pro shop had a variety of clothing items and snacks for the course. They have their rules posted, which seem important for course etiquette.

If they want to keep it operational theyre way overdue for a maintenance check. It doesnt need much, no major overhaul, but I bet theres 1 small thing wrong with each of them. The majority of the cages are taped off and inoperative, the ones that allow you to put coins in hardly work. One cage launches balls straight but jams up after 2 pitches. Another throws all over the place. I keep giving it another shot in hopes that I get them on a day theyre working but now they dont work well enough to come back. $14 for 6 tokens, I got about 8 pitches total out of 4 tokens between 2 cages. I left my other 2 tokens for someone with more patience than me. The staff is super friendly and im sure they wouldve given me a refund but it just wasnt worth my time. Imagine going to a restaurant for steak you know will be awful, knowing they'll happily refund you. Whats the point in even going? Would you go bowling knowing after 2 frames the machine would break, but you get a refund? Why go bowl there at all. So much potential here as its in a great park at a great location. Im willing go bet for under $5k they can have it up an operating fully that would last over a year without maintenance. Great staff, mostly clean place, if you try it and dont succeed you'll get your money back, but it won't be worth your time until they hire some qualified maintenance. There were…read moretwo of us just out for a bit of fun and when I inquired about sharing a large bucket, as we would do at a normal range, the owner said it's not allowed to share and would instead be a bucket per person. In other words, a slimy up charge. I didn't have my clubs so they offered to rent me some irons, $7.50 per person. These clubs looked heavily used from the 80s and were beat! As others have mentioned, the mats are worn and uneven, it could use a major update. The worst part is as I was paying, the owner guilted me into adding a few extra dollars for a "tip". Not sure what he did to deserve one but tipping culture has def reached its peak if they are pushing for tips at this place. Unreal!! Two small buckets and two iron rentals (drivers are additional) came out to $50+. I'll go to TopGolf next time for similar pricing but a better experience.
