On top of that, the dividing net in the middle of the field was off-center, shifted way to one side, and the ball kept getting stuck in it throughout the game. It completely disrupted the flow of play. Overall, the facilities are in serious need of maintenance. We didn't enjoy it and won't be coming back.

The "party planner" plays with kids and that's it. I was told that they either aren't suppose to come in the room or just don't. I didn't know that . I thought someone would kinda guide the party etc. Not the case. There are a few things that I was unhappy with it. First thing, the table collapsed with my son's birthday and ice cream set up at the start of the party . The cake was damaged and a little lopsided . My son didn't even notice though. We had to look for someone who worked there to turn on the air in our party room, garbage bags another time , more plates/forks/spoon in the middle of the party. It took away from photo time and really enjoying the party bc I had to leave to find someone each time. I feel like you have people paying hundreds of dollars for a party . You should be checking the trash, asking do you need anything etc. I will say that everyone had a good time . My son had a good a time. The facilities and the bathrooms are clean. The parents loved the bar and smoothie area there which I think is pretty cool compared to other party facilities. I'm not sure I would do a party there again. If I did, I would probably have a photographer and someone to specifically help me with setting up etc.

Higher quality lettuce was in the salad, and the pricing was very fair. Service was friendly but it seemed to be spotty with some people doing most of the work and others just standing there. The Cuban sandwich my friend had was rated very good but a touch salty, keep it in mind if you have a salt restriction. You should try it at least once if you are in the area. Indoor dining has a nice view of the golf course, you can also sit outside when the weather permits.

I had the chance to experience Cypress Golf thanks to a Yelp Elite event, and while my husband and…read moreI are not golfers at all, we still had a really fun time. Let's start with Ben, who greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome. He was incredibly helpful in getting our game set up, explaining how everything worked, and making sure we were comfortable--even as total beginners. That alone made the experience enjoyable. The space itself is on the smaller side, as is the plaza, but it's well laid out. There are three bays, enough room for groups without feeling cramped, and a pool table, which was a nice bonus. For drinks, they offer Michelob Ultra, an IPA, and a variety of sodas and water. There's no food on site, but you're able to order from outside, which is convenient. Cypress Golf has only been open for about four months, and it's clear they're on the right track. A few small improvements could really elevate the experience--expanding the beverage options, offering some light snacks, and cooling the space a bit more (it was a little hot and muggy). It would also be great to see options for left-handed players, as only right-handed clubs were available. We did notice a group come in with their own clubs, and this spot definitely seems best suited for people who already know how to play and what they're doing. That said, even as beginners, we had fun--and a big part of that was thanks to Ben's patience and great attitude. Wishing Cypress Golf continued success and the best of luck as they grow. It's a solid concept with a lot of potential.

They have three "ranges", where you can choose a regular golf course or mini golf course. We chose mini golf and it was cool, as we can see a play back of our swing. They offer a membership, so if you just want to practice indoors, I think it's a great option. The place also sells several types of water, beer, wine and has a partnership with the pizza place in the plaza, so you can order pizza and bring it over. I recommend for a fun friend's night out!

In other words, a slimy up charge. I didn't have my clubs so they offered to rent me some irons, $7.50 per person. These clubs looked heavily used from the 80s and were beat! As others have mentioned, the mats are worn and uneven, it could use a major update. The worst part is as I was paying, the owner guilted me into adding a few extra dollars for a "tip". Not sure what he did to deserve one but tipping culture has def reached its peak if they are pushing for tips at this place. Unreal!! Two small buckets and two iron rentals (drivers are additional) came out to $50+. I'll go to TopGolf next time for similar pricing but a better experience.

Aqua Golf is one of the last free standing golf ranges left in Broward County. What makes Aqua Golf unique is that it is a water driving range. Instead of hitting the ball onto the green, you hit the balls into a scenic 20 acre lake. A large bucket of balls runs $15. Aqua Golf also has a pro shop and offers lessons. Of course you can't talk about Aqua Golf Driving Range without mentioning the movie that put it on the map, There is Something About Mary. The movie is a about a Rhode Island man played by Ben Stiller who tracks down the girl of his dreams in South Florida. Cameron Diaz playing sweet Mary Jensen meets Matt Dillion's private investigator Pat Healy at Aqua Golf for the first time before they begin dating. Although Aqua Golf is looking a little more worn than its There is Something About Mary Days, it still retains a vintage charm. In our high tech, fast passed world it is nice to know there is still a family run business where you can still enjoy the simple pleasure of hitting a bucket of balls into a lake.

Walking into Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs feels a little like stepping into South Florida…read morehockey history. Sure, the Florida Panthers no longer use this as their primary practice facility, but let's not overlook the fact that this building was literally designed to train a professional hockey team... a Stanley Cup-winning one at that. That alone gives the place some cool factor. The facility has three professional-sized rinks, the ice itself is very well maintained, and there's constantly something happening here. Beer leagues for just about every skill level, kids learning to skate, public skate sessions, hockey parents living exclusively on caffeine and hope... it's got that lively community rink atmosphere that makes places like this fun even if you're just there to watch. In my case, I was there to bring my grandsons to see their dad play hockey for the first time, which already made the experience special before we even stepped inside. And honestly, the staff helped make it even better. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. Since the place has multiple rinks running simultaneously, I needed help figuring out where we were supposed to be, and the staff guided us without making me feel like I'd wandered into the NHL combine by mistake. Then came my favorite moment. I ordered chicken nuggets during the game, and instead of making me stand around waiting and risk missing part of my son's game, one of the staff members actually brought the order over to me. That's the kind of small gesture people remember. The overall atmosphere here is friendly, welcoming, and very community-oriented. The building itself is clean and well-kept, even if it's starting to show its age a little compared to the Panthers' newer and shinier facilities elsewhere. Is it the fanciest rink complex ever built? No. But honestly, that's part of the charm. It feels authentic. Functional. Comfortable. Like a real hockey rink instead of a corporate showroom that just happens to have ice in it. Four stars (maybe because I'm a longtime Panthers fanatic?). A little aged and a little limited in spots, but absolutely a place worth checking out whether you're playing, skating, or just introducing the next generation to hockey.
