He thoroughly explained the membership offerings and facilities, and thoughtfully matched us with trainers and classes aligned with our goals. He has consistently served as a supportive and reliable point of contact. I joined in September 2025 after more than a decade without regular exercise and was completely out of shape. My husband, while naturally active, had never worked out in a gym environment. Based on our medical needs and age--both of us in our 50s--Aaron recommended we train with Matthew Rossello. Matthew is an extraordinary trainer: highly knowledgeable, upbeat, energetic, and genuinely invested in our well-being and progress. Each session is unique, engaging, and tailored to our needs. On days when I feel unmotivated, knowing that Matthew will make the workout both enjoyable and rewarding is what gets me through the door. In just four months, both my husband and I have made progress we never imagined possible. Aaron also recommended Pia's indoor cycling classes, and she has been fantastic. Pia is incredibly entertaining, curates great music, and designs classes that are dynamic and motivating. Her sessions incorporate a variety of movements and speeds, and even include a brief meditation. I truly look forward to her classes--something I never expected to say about cycling! We have also come to enjoy yoga classes with Angela. She brings a calming, mindful approach that helps relax both body and mind, while offering stretches that leave us feeling renewed. The club overall is excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and consistently clean, and the food is outstanding. My only suggestions would be to address maintenance needs in the showers and consider enlarging the sauna--along with adding a more visible clock. Despite these minor points, our experience at Midtown has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to being members for many years to come.

It has a small fitness room but they have all the machines you would need. The best part is the dry sauna in the locker rooms. Aside from the fitness center they have: a skating rink, basketball court, spa, event rooms you can rent, a pool table, bowling alley, tennis, cycling, two pools and a jacuzzi. They host a lot of events- especially during the holidays. This month they are hosting a foreign film special which I'm really interested in considering foreign films is my favorite genre. As a member you are allowed up to about 15 guest passes where your guest can use all the utilities for free. If you exceed the amount of guest passes then you can simply buy more for about $10 each.

He said that the small stores are known for really giving you a better service and guidance about the game, plus I wanted to support local businesses in the midst of a pandemic. The girl behind the counter greeted me and asked how she could help. I told her I was looking for a racquet and she directed me to another employee who was restringing a racquet. This employee asked me how often I played tennis and I told him that I played 1-2 times a week and wanted to get a new racquet. He told me that for anything decent I had to spend at least $200 and when I told him if he has anything for $100 he told me I was in the wrong store and directed me to Dicks Sporting Goods. I am at a point economically that I can afford a $1000 racquet if I wanted to, but it's not what I want to spend right now, especially since I am getting back to playing. This employee was so arrogant and pompous and couldn't care less, even after telling him that I was referred by a current customer. He could have been courteous and said to me that they don't carry anything in the price range that I mentioned, but he did not do that. He said and I quote, 'for anything decent, I had to spend at least $200.' The other employee will vouch for this as she was within earshot. Bottom line, they lost a potential future client, and I told my buddy who is an avid tennis player and he apologized for sending me to this place. It's not his fault . It doesn't take much to be nice in this world. Customer service is everything. Shame on the owner for hiring this person. He may not know, but he is losing alot of potential clients.

Then, I filled out waivers that were unreadable on a very small screen that I could not understand. Rather than helping the staff talked among themselves. Next up was the actual workout space. Elliptical, stair master and other machines were broken, ranging from no TV or internet connection to chunks of material missing from their handles to completely out of order. The weight machines were also very worn. The leg press seat was cracked, for example. I don't expect I'll return due to the unhelpful staff, damaged machines, and only having one day to try the facilities to make a decision.
