Everything was clean, modern, and seemed to be maintained well, so it felt like a much more elevated, adult experience to play mini golf, and it was perfect for a date night. There's a restaurant, as well as a bar in the middle of the course where you can order food/drinks. The drink stands provided at the start of each hole are a thoughtful part of the design to ensure you can enjoy yourself the whole time. The staff we encountered were friendly, and I'd love to go back again.

The course itself is fine -- but pretty basic. It's nicely landscaped and in good shape, but there's nothing especially creative or over-the-top that makes it feel worth the premium pricing. For younger kids, 18 holes was more than enough. Ours only wanted to play one round, and after that they were done. The pricing structure seems geared more toward people who plan to stay for hours -- replaying rounds, hanging out, ordering food and drinks. If you maximize the "all day" aspect, maybe it starts to make sense. But for families with young kids who realistically will only make it through one round? One bright spot: free ice cream for kids on Tuesdays. Overall, it's a nice facility, but unless you're planning to really camp out and get multiple rounds in, the value just isn't there for families with younger children.

This place is so run down it will make your worst local muni, back home, look like Augusta. First appearance, the driving range and practice green are in awful shape. The grass is weed like at the range and the green had tons of sand and shaggy grass on it. I know this will be a total shock, but conditions DID NOT improve out on the course. I was paired up with another 3 some. We don't even get to the first tee and 2 of the guys, in the cart in front of us, have to return for a new cart as it's dying. It gets better folks! On hole 2 my golf cart shits out. And it continues to get better. On Hole 6 our friends need ANOTHER NEW GOLF CART. If your keeping score at home, between 4 of us, we needed 3 golf carts replaced in 9 holes due to them running out of battery power. I couldn't make this up if I tried. The course was in terrible shape. It's clear no one actually gives a shit or really even tries to maintain it. Bunkers = trash. Rough = weedlike shit grass Fairways = terrible shape with the exception of small pockets of acceptable grass. Greens = shaggy with lots of sand. Some were decent enough, but overall not acceptable. I truly have no idea how anyone plays here. I guess going rate is $40+. That is truly asinine. I would consider this place for $10 or less with a cart. It's that bad. I can't recommend this place to anyone that actually gives a shit about golf. If your a newbie and a total hack, maybe this is your place, but even then I would say avoid at all costs. TLDR - You have to have almost zero brain cells to ever give these people your money and play here. AVOID!!!!

Clubhouse provides a great location for small functions, fundraisers, and weddings. The golf course is private, but it's great to have close friends. But if you call ahead there may be a way to pay a small fee to enjoy the course. It's so peaceful out there you forget that you are still in the middle of everything in Fort. Lauderdale. And the course is both beautiful and challenging. So if you love golf and looking for a new place to stay. One of these beautiful homes would be ideal.

Fort Lauderdale Country Club is definitely a private club for serious golfers. There's two…read moreregulation 18 hole golf courses on the property. I spent years growing up playing golf here and eating at the club restaurant with my family and friends. My father was an avid golfer and had dreams for me that I wasn't interested in fulfilling. I had lessons by the pro at the club and from my father. They had tournaments for various age ranges of children. I won a couple of trophies in my early teens. On holidays like July 4th they had hot dogs. My father would play golf and we couldn't wait for him to get home because he brought us each a couple hot dogs. The weekly buffet dinners were fantastic spreads with prime rib and all kinds of other meats, vegetables, bread and deserts. Definitely pig out feasts. We loved to go because they had bingo after the buffet! It was fun for all ages. My father purchased his membership in the 1950's. When he passed away in 1990 my mother was forced to sell the membership. The membership required you spend a certain amount of money annually in the clubhouse. We couldn't afford to entertain family and friends like we had in the past. Besides when my mother aged no one was left to go to the buffet or play golf and lunch at the clubhouse. I'm highly recommending this club if you're a serious golfer. The place is maintained meticulously. There's even a tree planted in my father's name next to one of the holes where he got one of his 7 hole in ones!

Membership is private but considering other clubs In My opinion quite reasonable.. Clubhouse is absolutely outstanding with large gate to enter (Coded) and a giant plantation style clubhouse with all the amenities from the back porch and veranda overlooking to the course to the sunken dining room and ample bar area. Locker rooms are top notch for members with a small but very adequate guests locker room as well. Food in the dining room is really outstanding with over sized lunch sandwiches and a signature prime rib with dipping sauce topped with onion rings and horse radish sauce. Pro Shop is well stocked with clothing, supplies and various caddy shack items. Driving range and practice facility is second to none enormous with huge Tiff Eagle putting green various short holes to work on your short game, and large hitting area. Also top notch golf academy with top teaching pros with all the technical toys to work on your game with you. Golf course itself is very Florida like with water in play on 12 holes though Large OAK trees are not your normal Florida look. Well maintained but over watered or poorly drained makes the fairways very wet and no roll at all so it plays longer than the yardage. Downfall has to be the greens which can range from very good on some days to downright awful on others. Complete redesign of greens bunkers and holes coming next Spring / Summer along with new grass and drainage on all the fairways as well. 4 Star Facility heading towards Untouchable
