Always clean & never too packed/ does get busy on fridays-saturdays (Inside a bowling alley that gets busy so the parking lot might look packed but the restaurant/ bar is not Decent beer tap selection Food has gotten a lot better recently. the past year it's been on point I'd say. I heard good things about the pizza and found that I heard right. Not only is the pizza good but the Mozzarella wedges that we had for an App is awesome. The breading that they use for the wedges was light and melts your mouth. Two thumbs up to the bartender Jeannie. She was so on top of it and was very welcoming. read more

We went with ten people and not many people were in the actually tavern. We sat down and it took awhile for the girl to even come take our drink orders which made everything else take longer. It wasn't bad service just slow service and with no one being there I'd think it would be faster. The food however was the best part. The mozzarella wedges we're the best I ever had.the chicken tenders say they are tossed in a sauce but they were it was put on the side. Overall amazing food but service needed work read more

Great place to take the family for a nice night out. Burgers were great. Pizza great. Four empty plates when we were all done. An app, two burgers, a large pizza and a few beers for around $60 bucks. We will be back. Plus you can bowl either before of after to work off those beers (or have a couple of more). Family and kid friendly. read more

I would not eat here ever again. A couple of our party was getting a little loud because they where happy to see each other. The owner (bob) was playing cribbage with another couple we obviously was upsetting him so he threw us out saying we were over our 90 minutes. This restaurant just opened to me and my wife that would give it a shot. Upon entry you're in the traditional bowling alley but as you move past the counter at the bowling alley you noticed a really nice and upscale Tavern style restaurant. Been coming here for years for bowling and the arcade with my boys. Just tried out the restaurant for the first time and was very pleased. The buffalo chicken app was fresh and tasty. The hot pastrami was as good as any deli. Kids loved the pizza and chicken fingers too. Highly recommend! read more

The tavern itself is stunning. Not what you expect to turn the corner and see when walking into a bowling alley, very modern and appropriately decorated. This is a seat yourself situation, we chose the high top by the bar instead of the booth seating. A fair number of flat screen TVs hang over the bar and others along the walls some with keno. We were greeted by what I assumed was our waitress, given menus and silverware and she took our drink order. She was quick, dropped the drinks off without a word and then never came back to the table. We were pretty confused given that she didn't say "be right back or so-and-so will be right over" and who else would she send over anyway? There wasn't another employee in sight. An almost uncomfortable amount of time went by and I was ready to just leave cash on the table for the beers and go somewhere else but before I could a different waitress appeared from the kitchen to take our food order (nachos, steak tips (med. rare) and a steak tip Caesar salad). She was very nice and polite but seemed distracted - we had to repeat the order twice for her and she didn't write any of it down. I can't comment on the nachos because they never came which was really disappointing. I would have inquired about them but I didn't see our waitress again until she showed up with our entrees and at that point it just didn't seem worth it to order them again. I'll admit, steak tips are kind of a big deal for me. I've been spoiled by places like Champions and the Lazy Dog so I set the bar pretty high. I really was hoping they would be a worthy competitor but these, unfortunately, fell short. They were small, tough, dry pieces of meat with no flavor and cooked well done (instead of medium rare). My boyfriend did enjoy the salad but felt it was on the small side for an entree. The French fries and onion rings were very good. This is a fairly new restaurant so I guess part of my dining experience is due to training new staff and working out the kinks, but overall, I think I may have set my expectations too high given its local competitors. I would probably go back but would hesitate to order beyond common bar food (pizza, chicken fingers, wings, burgers etc). read more

Looking for something to do with my 7 year old on a cold MLK day, decided to take him bowling. Been to the Metro Bowl many times but not recently. Much to my surprise they put in a restaurant. After bowling I took my son there for a quick bite. The place very clean and the menu prices more than reasonable. If the quality of the food was anything like the pastrami sandwich I ordered at the waiters recommendation then the place is a winner. Pastrami was extremely lean served on a great nun with crinkle fries on the side. Best pastrami I ever had. My son got the ziti from the 5.00 kids menu and it was an adult portion and the sauce I think was homemade. We took what he couldn't easy home and he had the rest for dinner. So, with COVID, I have called in and picked up dinners at least 1/2 dozen times or more. The people are always so kind in there and they even help you out to your car, if needed. The place is very clean which means a lot to everyone, especially these days. Anyway, my neighbor and I decided to get a couple of take-outs a few nights ago. He got a delicious burger and I ordered the fish and chips. Well, there was a lot of delicious fish.... not overcooked and not undercooked and wattery (thank goodness). I am a true lover of homemade coleslaw and when I got home, it was missing. Nope... nothing in the bag. There were plenty of delicious French fries and delicious onion rings.... still nice and hot. This is at least the second or third time that I have brought home a dinner and parts of the meal were missing. Just wanted to bring this up and hopefully whomever is in the kitchen, they need to pay attention to the sides that come with the meals. It is not a good practice. Otherwise, I have to say, their food is really good. The burgers are always delicious and I really loved the Thanksgiving sandwich with the turkey meat, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on a nice fresh Brioche roll. Not what you expect when walking into a bowling alley, but the restaurant inside is a true hidden gem. I had a cheeseburger that was one the best I ever had; the giant brioche bun was the main reason. The fries were crispy and seasoned properly. Chicken finger appetizer was also very good. The price was very low as well for food and beer. Keno also a plus for this brand new restaurant. I highly recommend. read more

Food was delicious... The only issues are as follows:..the wait time is horrible who waits a half hour for nachos...some waitstaff have to be reminded constantly that things are missing from order.... When ordering take out should have better containers and made sure that there is nothing missing... The cook when busy should be helping in kitchen not walking around.. For the one time we had a party of 12 it took 2 hours to even get our food... Better organization and execution is a MUST!!!.... Other than that once again food is out of this world... This place was awesome. We had a big family birthday party here. The staff was great and did everything we asked for and more. What an awesome place. Great waitresses,bartenders and bowling attendants. The food at spare time tavern was delicious. We recommend the nachos and chicken tenders ! They were so organized and went above and beyond for us.
