After watching the salivation-inducing commercials with the funky rump-shaking theme song, I finally made it to the west-side pizzeria. (For those not in town, Evansville views the east, west, and north sides of town, respectively, as "forever" away, even though they are a matter of like 10 miles or so; i.e., a massive small town mentality). The wait was worth it! The food was awesome. First off, the fresh made breadsticks are the best I have had since 1995. I can pinpoint the date because I was in college and there was a pizza place down the street from campus that had these amazing bread sticks and cheese sauce; I basically lived on these for four years as an undergrad. So when you visit, these are an absolute must; also, you have your choice of two sauces, so you don't have to struggle on deciding between cheese or marinara. I really wanted to try their pizza, but I have found the Stromboli is the true litmus test for whether a new pizza shop warrants more than one visit. The strom, like all their sandwiches, comes with three veggies. I added mushrooms, red onions, and pepperoncinis. It was a cheesy, sausagey revelry of flavor! The hand made hoagie bun with the garlic butter sauce was the perfect amount of crunch and flavor to complement all the internal gooey goodness. My daughter opted for the chicken sandwich; she chose black olives, mushrooms, and green peppers. She cleaned her plate so I guess she sorta liked it. Both sandwiches were around $10 each, so a reasonable amount for a meal out with the fam. The owner, Ryan, actually took our order and made a point to stop by our table to see how we were digging the food. Super nice dude! The waitress was super friendly and attentive as well. On my next visit, the veggie lover pizza will be up for critique, so stay tuned, my fellow pizza loving Yelpers!

Very good crust and sauce. The mushrooms just a bit soggy. The other topping were tasty. Good service and polite staff.

She took us to a booth which was not roomy enough for us we moved to a regular table next to the booth we were seated at. The host returned to us a said we could not sit at that table because either it was not for a certain waitress or was reserved, I don't remember which reason that she gave and doesn't matter because I understood perfectly and apologized. I tried to explain that the booths weren't very "roomy", and since we hadn't been to Biaggi's before, we were unaware of that. The host said "well, you should have told me that in the first place" in a snotty tone and looked rather annoyed. How are we to know where we want to be seated, if we weren't aware of the seating options because we never were seated there before? I felt so insulted by her attitude and disrespect that we didn't even order, we just quietly walked towards the door, and apparently that didn't matter to the host, because she watched us pass right in front of her toward the door without saying a word. I know that Biaggi's has been around here for many years, and I hope that this young lady doesn't treat all of your customers like this. In closing I must say that, until now, I have never left a negative review for any restaurant in my life... and I'm 63 years old.

We went to Lobo Lounge about 1:15 on a Thursday afternoon. The place had a couple people in there, but we were greeted as soon as we entered which is a HUGE in my book. I enjoyed the Loaded BBQ Chicken nachos and the BBQ sauce was sweet and mildly spicy. It was delicious. They were actually out of their normal tortilla chips but found a way to improvise as I showed my disappointment. I thought that was really nice and most any other restaurant I've gone to would not even consider this. So I was really impressed with their service. My friend got the pizza with pineapple, ham and brown sugar and it was excellent. She let me sample it. The crust was great, a thin style but crispy chewy... really good. Someone said they allow smoking on their review but that is no longer true. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and satisfied (as I mentioned early about the chips). The chef that made our food was personable and funny, he even let me sample his own sandwich he had just came up with for himself - it was delicious! Our server was so friendly and prompt, I wish I could remember her name. The prices were a nice surprise and so we will be going back very soon to try a lot of the other great sounding food they offer. They have a parking area across the street in addition to street parking. There is also an outdoor dining area that would be great for the evening or if the weather hadn't been so hot. The only thing negative I can say is the place is a little small but not really intimate because their juke box is a little too loud to have a quiet conversation at least I thought it was too loud for lunch. We were still able to talk, but I felt I had to talk louder than normal and ask her to repeat herself more than I should've. Overall, I highly recommend this little hidden gem.
