Unfortunately, id probably say it's currently one of my least favorite activities at thanksgiving point. Probably due to the age of my kids. They are 2 and 4 , and don't quite enjoy themselves as much here like they do at the Jurassic jungle or the museum of natural curiosity. Even if you have younger kids though, it's still a decent place to spend part of your day, especially if you have the annual pass and want to change things up.

The play area is huge, tons of space for the kids to run, jump, and just be wild. It was clean, well-maintained, and super engaging for little ones. On the museum side, there was so much to see and explore. My kids were fascinated by all the displays and interactive elements. They especially loved the sandpit with water and the dino dig zone! such a great mix of learning and play! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, educational, and active day out. We all gathered together at the entrance and were able to take photos together in the courtyard, awaiting our turn to go in (I appreciate the food stands available, that I'll take advantage of in the future). I loved the animatronics that would cause the jump scares! The actors were fun, but could have been a tad creepier to add to the effects. Next time I'll try the pass that allows the actors to touch you. It was a little difficult to find our cars after leaving the forest. Maybe in the future, there could be more indicators for parking lot rows? Great job! We had fun!

I was mostly shocked at how many vendors there were for food and things to see before you entered the trail. They had lots of sweet treats and burgers to purchase if you're hungry before you go in! The waitlist to get in once you've arrived isn't too long and it's nice that they have staggered entry times to avoid as much bottle necking as possible. There are a lot of actors running around ready for photo ops as well as animatronics to look at as well in the "Graveyard". The trail itself had a good variety of themed "houses" to walk through and overall, a great time!

Our favorite part was Bob, the talking fish who can talk to you in real time using AI. Plan on at least an hour for this experience, but more if you want to do all of the quests and searches they have. I'm minusing a star because it was beyond irritating to make a reservation. You have to give them your physical address, phone number, email, and birthday, including day, month and year. You also had to sign a waiver. When you go to places like Lagoon you don't need to sign a waiver. This place is literally just walking around. They should do something where you agree to their terms when you buy the ticket and don't have to sign a waiver. Also, even though we bought our tickets in advance, we still had to wait in line with all of the people buying their tickets at the entrance, so buying ahead didn't save any time. We had to wait for 40 minutes to actually begin the experience. In a nutshell, if you've been to Disneyland, this place is like waiting in line at Disneyland.

For that, it's totally worth it. You wouldn't guess that you're tucked into the corner of a shopping mall (except for some small windows at the beginning of the game that look right out into it). Word of caution-there are flashing lights and uneven surfaces, so if that affects you, be aware. I did not previously have problems with this, but it triggered a little vertigo for me. Bummer, I would have loved to have stayed longer, but I was pretty dizzy. The black light clues are cool-although the "expert" level one was a little more challenging than most littles might be interested in. It takes a while to decode the messages and kids might lose interest before they get the message. There are a couple games for the younger kids that are much easier. At the end, there is a little arcade, but there wasn't anyone really staffing the merch desk or any staff members around anywhere, so we weren't sure what to do. So, we left. Maybe that was part of the game-you have to figure out where the people in charge are. Ha! Regardless of the challenges I personally faced, I still recommend this as a date night adventure or something to take the older kids to for a family fun night.

None of the hand controllers were charged so we ended up sitting there for 45 minutes while the Only employee working tried to find functioning remotes. In the end, we left without playing a single game becuase of their faulty equipment. We couldn't get a refund. Total waste of time and money. The employee was kind and as helpful as he could be but was left completely dry and could only do so much. There was zero accountability from the owners. Whoever owns this place needs to seriously reconsider how they run things. Words can't adequately describe the atrocious details of tonight.
