We got the Thanksgiving Point pass this year and have been loving being able to spend an hour or so visiting here! My kids are 2 yrs & 3.5 yrs and they love riding the ponies and walking around seeing all the animals; chickens, cows, pigs, geese, ducks, goats. They have a small area inside that has a few small things to play with; I would think that only kids 5 & younger would be interested in that area. They also have a "hayride" that goes in a little circle around the farm area. They have seat areas sectioned off to meet the COVID-19 restrictions so there are only about 3-4 families that go on the drive at a time which is nice because you don't feel crowded. It would be awesome if they added a slide or some more interactive activities to this section, but the main draw for this area is seeing the animals.

We went here with some family Tuesday night, you have to reserve your tickets online beforehand for the selected time if you go on their Super $3 Tuesdays. We parked on the south side of the red barn that's right east of the farm country, there were plenty of spots. I noticed that there was plenty of parking north of the farm country in the dirt where they do Cornbellies or even at the Holden Glass blowing studio as well which might be closer. I usually buy $1 popcorn to snack on but we had popcorn earlier so I didn't bother buying more. You can also purchase animal feed bags for $1 at the front desk. We got 2 which I think was plenty since not all of my 3 kids like feeding the animals out of their hands but all of them enjoy me feeding the animals to get a closer look. I was surprised my 3 year old was too scared to feed the animals out of his hand but one of my 1.5 year olds was brave enough to feed the sheep and alpaca with her hand. It's a fun experience to walk around seeing the different farm animals. They also had some adorable baby pigs! My kids enjoyed the playroom on the far west side that had toys and fake animals you can groom and feed. We always go for the tractor ride to see the horses and ponies out in the fields. It started raining pretty good so we skipped over the animals on the north side. My kids also weren't interested in doing a pony ride so we just ended up going home. You do get one free pony ride with each child ticket purchased. The line was too long for me to try and convince my 3 year old to give it a try.

How are there not more 5 star reviews??? We love this place. My 3 year old is obsessed with horses. We come to farm country every chance we get on the weekends and we love to bring our out of town family here when they come visit. The staff is friendly and so are the animals. I think Farm country is definitely geared at younger kids. My older kids lost interest after the first 30 times we came

Going to the farm is so much fun, especially in the spring. Spring means babies!! While this trip didn't have too many babies yet, lots of pregnant goats and sheep though, we did get to see 1 day old goats. I tried to take one home and it didn't go over well. Lol. There were goats, sheep, cows, horses, ducks, chickens and pigs. Pony rides and tractor rides too. Farm country is so fun.

This is the cheapest of the Thanksgiving Point attractions, but for the price, it makes a decent afternoon out of the house. The pony ride is a good length of a ride, which means the line moves a little slow, but it does hold 6 riders at a time. They have duck feeding, goats, donkey, cows, ponies chickens, and other animals to see and pet. There is a carriage ride that takes you around the farm country property and a small play area for kids. In my opinion of coming here over the last 15 years, it would be nice to see a little more to it - like a outdoor playground or something, just to give it a little more appeal.

If you avoid 2 buck Tuesday then this place gets 5 stars! The kids loved spending the morning here. There are plenty of animals to feed, indoor areas to play and explore, pony rides, and a wagon ride. Make sure you brings quarters to feed the animals and maybe a baggie or small cup to hold the food so it doesn't all end up on the ground before you get to them!

Good for an hour or two. Best to go first thing in the morning, this place gets busy! Employees are very sweet with kids.

Our kids LOVE this place. We have been here a few times and the joy of coming here has not diminished. There are quite a few animals to see and pet. You can pay a little extra for a pony ride. This place lets you get up and close to the animals. The grounds are well kept and it's just a cute little place to spend a but if time. This is on our list of places to come when we are in the SLC area.
