I first found susana on-line by searching for Spanish teachers in Miami on google. Spanish Hangout…read morecame up as one of the results. After researching their website and speaking to my friends about Spanish Hangout, I was surprised to find out that many of my friends already knew about this school and it's teacher/owner susana. She used to be located in the WeWork on Lincoln Road where many friends of mine also had offices. This made me comfortable and happy to hear that she was a nice, professional and real person. I use Spanish at my work and need to speak it because we have many clients from South America. I felt behind because in my office I am the only non-native speaker of Spanish and have to compete with co-workers that speak Spanish as their first language. I have beed studying twice a week with susana for the past three months and have went from casual conversational Spanish to giving professional business presentations directly to clients all in Spanish. The clients really appreciate that I am learning the language and they can understand me because susana focuses on correct proper grammar with clear pronunciation. She did not teach me to merely speak in Spanish, she taught me to speak spanish with clear pronunciation and proper grammar. Class with Susana is alway good, even when the subject matter gets hard. She is patient, kind, has a good personality and most of all is a good teacher. It takes a special kind of person to be patient, clear, kind and focused on your progress as a teacher and susana is all of these things. If you are looking for a Spanish teacher stop your search immediately and call susana. You have found the Spanish teacher of your dreams. I highly recommend her and will keep taking class with her. Susana me ayuda mucho con Español. Necesito hablar español en me trabajo con clientes y con susana, yo lo aprendi rápido. Tengo clase con Susana dos veces de semana. Ella es profesional, amable y una buena profesora con mucha estructura. Me encanta estudiar conella. Si quiere una profesora que es directa, profesional y amable, usted quiere susana. Ella puede enseñarle hablar Español.

I have loved taking classes with Susana at Spanish Hangout--it's a lot of fun and you learn a lot,…read moreno matter what level you are starting with. I'm also really glad that I discovered Spanish Hangout when I first moved to Miami! It's a great way to meet people and learn more about the language and culture of the city. Highly recommend!

My son is 17 months old and has been with this amazing family for 3 months now. I had him at…read moreanother daycare in the area, and he was basically perpetually sick for 4 months. Since I found Kid's Land, that is a distant memory. The ONE time he got a little bit sick, they called me instantly to pick him up. You may not want to do that when it's your kid, but when you're wishing it was somebody else's child being picked up so they don't get everybody else sick, you learn to appreciate it. My previous daycare never did this, and all you had to do was look around and you'd see sick children everywhere. Anyway, Mrs. M (the director/owner) is fantastic and so loving with the children. She teaches the older babies (pre-k2) now, but my son was in her class before and adores her. Her grandma and GREAT-grandma also help out around the daycare, and they are the sweetest people! My son gets the feeling of being in somebody's home, cared for by a family. They cook for the kids, and treat them as their own. Some other things I was looking for, that I have found with Kid's Land: - Everybody tells you they will speak English to your kids, or "we have a bilingual curriculum" ... but upon touring the schools, even the most prestigious schools, you'll find that the daycare teachers do not speak English at all. When my husband, a non-native speaker, needed to communicate something important at our OLD daycare like "why does my son have a bruise?" I t was so frustrating that none of the people watching him could answer him effectively. For us, English fluency was a must. Ms. Blanca (the Pre-K1 teacher) is more comfortable herself with Spanish, but speaks to us in English WITHOUT that Miami "why don't you speak Spanish?" attitude. I don't know how to say how much I appreciate that! Love her and love how much time she spends with my little guy. - The small class sizes. They truly dedicate a lot of love and attention to EACH child, it's like a private school. - The dedication to learning. It's a daycare but, it's also a school. You can tell Mrs. M is a parent herself, she wants your children to learn things from an early age. There is a structure to their day, even at age 1 they begin to learn simple focused tasks like walking in line, sitting for stories, and participating in learning letters. This LOCATION has been there forever, but the school has not. The family just moved there and took on the lease from the old owners in summer 2017, so even if you saw it before and maybe toured it (I did), it's different now. I would recommend Kid's Land over any other Kendall daycare I have toured, easily.
