Unfortunately, after spending a significant amount of money on this service, we saw little to no measurable improvement. Throughout the program, I communicated my concerns directly to the owner. Rather than addressing the effectiveness of the tutoring, I was repeatedly made to feel as though my son was the problem. In my opinion, the tutors lacked the ability to teach concepts in a way that promoted true understanding and mastery of the SAT. Sessions often consisted of simply reviewing information and test questions rather than providing meaningful instruction, strategies, or personalized guidance. What made this experience even more disappointing was that after leaving this program, I found another tutor who worked with my son for just three weeks. During that short period, his SAT score increased by 170 points. This demonstrated to me that my son was fully capable of improving when provided with effective instruction and support. After the tutoring service itself acknowledged that my son and their program were not the right fit, I requested a refund or at least a partial refund given the lack of results and the substantial cost. The owner never responded to my request. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. The program was extremely expensive, produced no meaningful results for my son, and when concerns were raised, they were not addressed in a professional or customer-focused manner. Update as a response to owner feedback. 100% my son sat for the exam they were contracted for and this is where no improvement was made. After the results I was given the option of one on one tutoring at an additional $75/hr. Obviously this service lacks the ability to keep a student engaged and motivated and the results of a different tutoring service proves that SMP is not a good investment.

Having all of our questions answered, we started the sessions. They offer to have the lessons at your home or a public location. Our tutor, Asad, is awesome. He is prepared and proficient. All of the materials are covered in the fee. This includes the diagnostic tests and weekly worksheets. After each session, he provides a detailed follow-up of what was covered, what the performance was and what is to be completed. All of this is matching the overall customized plan designed by the owner. We contacted other companies and individual tutors but were most impressed with this company. I am very pleased with this customized plan and the competency of the tutor. I would highly recommend them.

Anywho as someone else said in their review, I was asked to remove my sleeveless, short Jean vest that didn't have any pockets. I honestly forgot and had I remembered I wouldn't have even work it. I guess they assumed I was going to pull something out of the seams of the vest. I was given a locker to place my belongings in and was then escorted into the testing room. Aside of the fact that I had to remove my jacket and the employee unpleasantness, I also didn't like the fact that they are constantly in and out of the testing room. Allowing people to step out to get water, cleaning off the computers, answering questions, etc. I get it some of these things cannot be helped but they have to understand that these are also distractions and annoying. Perhaps they should invest in some soundproof headphones for people that would like them. If you're wondering, yes I passed my test. So this review isn't because of that. Glitches in the program, the Procter literally does what he or she feels like doing. You can't see the Procter; he responds when he wants; if he response. I requested the whiteboard to be operational for my math since it was minimized at its largest form, and I did not receive help. After approximately (20) twenty minutes I received a chat asking if I was there. As I continued to try writing back in the greyed-out screen. What they did was somehow submit my exam on my behalf without my consent. My test time starting was supposed to be at 2pm EST for 240minutes which translates the ending time to be approximately 6pm if you are lucking and do not have any inconveniences (I had inconveniences). At 2:26pm EST I called them to notify them my online computer connection was frozen, and then at around or before 4pm again. No reply, what they did instead was terminate my exam and submit my incomplete score of 69 as completed and FAILED. I had ample time to complete the incomplete, but the system had the system greyed-out and no access to my whiteboard (no pencil, pen or paper allowed). I've complained, waiting for a second reply :(

The weekend you say, I did not notice because I was studying for my test for the past week. If only the technology existed for them to have gotten this news to testing candidates sooner. A phone call, nope. Email, what is that? Raven, not native to Florida sorry. Instead, the crack staff of administrators decided that the best way to get this news out to candidates was to have them drive out to Doral so they could deliver it in person. How thoughtful. I would say go to another company for your test but that might not be possible because... well, Florida. Instead, just prepare yourself that you may have to deal with careless and incompetent staff members who will show little if any concern for your schedule or the child care that you arranged for the test. Thanks for nothing. Let me know where to send the bill for the babysitter that I did not actually need.
