When we met with the school, we were assured that this learning methodology WOULD work, unless there are behavioral or learning difficulties. In addition we were also told that our daughter would move up to a certain percentile having completed the program. My child was behind in reading comprehension but was seen as a great candidate for the LMB program. In fact, the woman we met with said, she had been working there for years and couldn't in good conscience ask parents to spend thousands of dollars on the curriculum unless we would see results! Unfortunately, after three months of significant time and money, my child's evaluation went from 4.9 grade level to a 5.0 grade level. And in fact her oral scores went down!? In hindsight, i was really worried and keen to set my daughter up for success, and didn't do enough research on this program. I wish i had worked with a personal tutor (which we are doing now and seems to be much more effective and affordable).

Hello My Name is Rafael L., Proud father of a six grader named Nicolas. Let me start be thanking…read moreand congratulating the wonderful staff at LMB on a job well done.. My son went from reading at a second grade level to six grade level in just eight weeks. The attention to detail is beyond any ones imagination, from the initial evaluation, day to day communication, the structure of your child's individualized plan.No short cuts here, you get much more than what you pay for. Who really makes it happen is Nick and the staff, he has put together a team of professionals that teach and motivate your child in a way that makes him happy to wake up and go to LMB everyday of the summer vacation. Best investment I have ever made. If you child is having difficulty, reading, spelling, math, etc. I highly recommend Lindamood Bell, Don't make the same mistake I made of hiring tutors for two years. Thanks again, Rafael

The first instructor was so bad I had to switch her after the first session. The second instructor basically taught no math, but focused all her time in English. Numerous students complained, but the administration said they reviewed the footage and were pleased with how the course was taught! My daughter's practice SAT score actually got worse throughout the 12 week course. The materials they provided were not helpful either. And other than the first two or three sessions the instructor stopped engaging the students at at all. There was zero student participation, nor did the instructor attempt to engage them throughout the three hour class each week. My daughter might as well have been watching a pre-recorded video. It was a snooze fest, and did I mention that 2/3 of the class was centered around English prep and p my 1/3 on math prep. If you can find a local live class that would be a better way to spend your money and your child's test prep time. Or, use the free apps like IXL or Khan Academy.

Princeton review in Florida is highly unreliable, we signed up our son and his friend for PSAT and…read moreSAT courses. First the PSAT course was cancelled and the only solution they offered was to pay more for a private tutor, which we did. Now the SAT course has been cancelled with only 4 day notice and the only solution being the online course which our son would prefer not to use. It was clear to me based on my discussion with them that they only care about the bottom line and if they can fill a class. They will cancel it with no in person class solution and leave you high and dry. Be very careful when signing up, as the chance for cancellation is high and it will leave you looking for a solution at the last minute.
