Today my boys and his friends wanted spangles ice cream cone. I ordered 3 cones and one strawberry Sundae. When I pull up I realize I can't hold all the cones. And the kids definitely didn't want it upside down neither in a cup. I asked if they could put it upward instead. One of the worker didn't know if she could. But the young man, I believe he was the manager and he think really quick and just put in the cups for me upward. It's those little gesture that I appreciate in customer service. Even though it wasn't even a big order he made this Customer appreciate it very much.. I don't know about anyone else, but I really like their ice creams and smoothies. I was in a spangles many many years ago and it was good. This visit I came with my kids and it was a little lack luster. The pictures are a bit deceiving from what lands on your table in a styrofoam container. It was like a cheaper take on McDonalds even though the options here are different, but for what you pay and get are a let down. I will say the staff were friendly and the store was clean. read more

They charged us for onion rings which we ordered and we received onion rings cut up into pieces. They were awful!!!!! All you could taste was the batter. I know they are trying to save money, but that's NOT how to do it. When I took them to the counter and complained, all the guy said was well that's what we're serving now. You don't like them? I said I ordered ONION RINGS not Onion pieces. These are nasty. I order these because I don't like your coated fries. He said, oh. I said we won't be back there is nothing worth coming back for. You can't even tell us ahead of time, that we don't serve onion rings, we serve broken onion ring pieces. Rip someone else off NOT ME. read more

I'm done with this Spangles location. Every time I go here lately, there are several employees with what are clearly meth sores all over them. The last time I had breakfast here, the girl who took my order, was obviously tweaking. There is no way food is being prepared here in a sanitary manner. Stopped here for breakfast before a long day at work because it usually does not disappoint the way it did today. I got the fiesta breakfast bowl expecting the same product I've gotten when I have ordered it before with the cheese sauce and chopped veggies. Instead I got sliced tomatoes cut in half, huge and chunky, and slices of cheese haphazardly laid across the top and only partially melted. I was given a spoon to eat it with which is essentially useless as everything needed to be pierced in order to be eaten. We had already driven across town so I started to eat only to find a hair embedded in a scrambled egg. But that wasn't the worst of it, a few bites later I find this piece of plastic also sticking out of a chunk of egg. The cherry on top was the ridiculously small and flimsy straws that were not even long enough to be used with our cups. I asked for a longer one and was told these are the straws that they have. Could be a supply shortage but I would've ordered a smaller size, had I known that. Disappointing for $10. read more

The burger was hot and fresh. Fries are good by themselves or you can add Ranch seasoning. Mudslides offer plenty of ingredients on top of the creamy soft serve. Decor reminds me of an old fashioned burger& malt shoppe. read more

It's been almost 15 years since I've walked into a Spangles, which is a regional chain in Wichita, KS promising to have the best burgers around. So I wanted to be nostalgic and grab a quick lunch before traveling on. Spangles was offering 2 for $5 offer on sourdough philly cheesesteak sandwiches. That was a mistake. The portions of steak, peppers, and onions were correct but it was ice cold in the middle. To save time, they take these pre-portioned meat pockets and throw them on the grill. The problem was that it wasn't warmed up correctly. It was refrigerator cold in the middle and the cheese wasnt even melted. The fries also have a wierd crunchy artificial taste coating, definitely not how I remember them. The cost for two meals with drinks and small fry final total was $12.23. Not sure I would give priority for Spangles over any other FF joint. read more

I do not like giving reviews that aren't over the top complimentary. As a life long foodie I do my research and I'm rarely disappointed with my choices. My research was mixed for Spangles but I liked the looks of this place enough to overcome my lack of positive research. Lots of '50s ambiance, Elvis paraphernalia and that's what got me. But the food was lacking. Hamburger was mediocre and the seasoned fries failed completely. But the most disappointing issue was a cleanliness issue at the drink dispenser that was not a failure of any equipment but of management attention to details, not to mention safety of customers Health. read more
