The burgers are just average burgers... personally, I like Sonic better, or Buster's. The fries are fresh cut and limp, not crispy. Delicious food and friendly/fast service! Cute little log cabin tucked away in the middle of nowhere but only 4 mins from the casino. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries. We were both VERY happy with our meals. The waitresses were also super sweet and offered to bring our infant any soft foods they had. Love this place. It's a 45 minute drive for us from NE Wichita along the turnpike but really worth it. Last time we sat outside on the porch after they closed until sunset and it was quiet and great time with friends. They really get busy with carryout right before closing. Love the basic old time burgers and chicken sandwiches. read more

This was such a cute burger joint! We had burgers, a half chicken salad, and homemade onion rings. All of it was very good! The chicken salad had a lot of chicken and we were told to order a half because the whole is huge. They melted the cheese over the chicken so good. Outstanding food!!! We stopped in 45 minutes from closing and the place was packed. Cars were still pulling in 15 minutes before closing. Sat outside on their beautiful patio enjoying delicious food. Cheaper than a McDonald's meal, but 1000 better!! Service was delightful and oh so helpful. read more

I personally really like their fried pickles as I'm finding it hard to find good ones around here (and for a reasonable price). The burgers are always good and the fries have a delightful, greasy taste (so if you don't like greasy, crispy fries, you've been warned). Very good local joint. Not far off the interstate, so easy to get to if you're headed to/from Wichita. Clearly popular w/ locals - we saw ambulance and fire dept guys while we were there and overheard lots of conversations that made it clear that most of their customers are folks who were born and raised right there. Fresh burgers, not fancy and not a lot of choices for toppings, made with good-quality beef and great buns, right when you order 'em. Good onion rings and hand-cut fries, tho not super-skinny as another review described them. We ate on the porch and were very comfortable in the shade even though it was a typically hot July day in Kansas. Then again, we're from Texas so take that into account! Recommended, for sure.
