On a burger tour of one of the Kansas Top 10 burgers. Had a very good cheeseburger with beef that tasted like real beef and a solid bun. Cheese was solid but would get a 2nd slice next time to make it a little more creamy. Cute place with very nice efficient young boy working the register. One of the best burgers I've had recently! The patties are hand-shaped. The fries are fresh-cut. The sweet tea was perfect. The service was friendly and prompt. You can eat inside but there are only 6(?) tables. The bun was toasted perfectly and the bacon is thick and crispy! The combos are around $11.00-$13.00 and worth every penny! Stopped here to get some food on a long road trip and it was overall delicious. it was a little confusing as it had a drive thru with signs for it that didn't have a working menu or order station maybe it's used as a pick up place. Defiantly a small local place that had the American classics and seemed busy. The burgers for the price though wasn't worth it you could tell that the patty's were not fresh probably frozen plus they were covered in sauce. The chicken tenders were nice and crispy though and the homemade potatoes made up for all of it!! Next time I do my road trip I'm going to add this as a stop on my way!! read more

This is light years better made to order food than any chain. It's crumbling crunchy bits are delicious and I got the works added and loved every bite. Smitty's has the most delicious, juicy and awe inspiring burger known to man. Hands down the hickory burger is the best burger I've ever had. The bacon is thick cut and definitely hickory smoked to perfection. I live in Kansas City and drive through Kingman occasionally for work. Being able to stop at Smitty's makes a long boring ride more than worth it. Perfectly pairs with the sweet potato fries. This is probably one of the best places in Kansas- especially for burgers and fries. The staff is always so nice, and they're quick with your order. The place is clean, and its decor is like a blast from the past. I recommend getting chili cheese fries, there's a lot for what you pay and they're extremely filling. Cheapest were Scotti's and Henry's at 12 cents and 18 cents. I don't know what these people do to them, but by far, the best most flavorful burger, ever. Fries are great too. read more

Small place with about half a dozen tables inside and a couple of picnic tables outside. Lots of choices for sandwiches from burgers to chicken. I got a double cheeseburger and it was huge!! Very good taste as it wasn't a pre shaped burger patty. They offer hand cut fries which I wish I had chosen but I got waffle fries and they were good too.
