I normally Prefer a female masseuse but They only had one person available and it was a male. I decided to try it anyway since I was calling a few hours before the appointment. When I arrived the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. It was my first time there so she showed me around and explained the layout. Now for the massage. Hands down one of the best massages I gotten in years. Ace did my massage after 90 mins I left feeling relaxed floating on clouds. I will definitely make this part of my regular routine.

Their prices, packages and great Yelp reviews were all selling points that solidified my plan to book with them, and I was not disappointed. I initially planned to book on the website as I never prefer phone calls if I can avoid them, lol. Unfortunately, the website did not show any availability for the day I was hoping to go, but I figured it was because of the short 1-day turnaround. In an unusual move, I called D'lor just to be sure they didn't have availability and lucky me - they actually did have a spot. YAY! Bridget at the front was so patient and helped accommodate me for the day/time and package that I was looking for. Upon arrival, it was easy to find a parking space and head right on in. I was greeted warmly and given a short form to complete before heading in. The salon was booked and busy, set in a separate portion of the business, it was so peaceful as ladies hustled in and out. Once I finished my form I was taken to the ladies dressing area and given a locker that included a robe and slides. The space was intimate, offering a private toilet, sauna, and more, all in one space. Once I got changed I went and took a seat in the sitting room. This space was sooo comfy, I almost hesitated a bit when my masseuse came and got me lol. I hate that I didn't catch either of my providers name because they were both amazing! I went with one of their February packages that included a 60min massage, 60 min facial and a steam bath. I forgot about the steam bath but, wow, my massage and facial were great. My massage was nice, not life-changing, but it was a good experience. That facial? Amazing. After switching my medication recently, my skin has been struggling and I really needed a good facial and extractions. Miss Ma'am got me right!! She got under my skin in the best way, she even snatched a random hair that was on my chin without me asking LOL. From calling in for my appointment, to my arrival, and exit - this was a fantastic experience! I will be running back to have another spa day at D'lor.

The day started with my arrival at 9:45am for a 10:00am appointment. I stood in the front entrance for a good 15-20 minutes before anyone came out to greet me. I also walked around and said "hello" a few times but still nothing - thus the 4 stars instead of 5. Yes the entrance as other reviewers said is that of walking into a boutique or someone's house who has a bunch of knicknacks. They do sell a bunch of products and items that all have to do with love, light, and healing; but they do not try to sell you anything which is nice. After the initial greeting, I filled out the paperwork and was handed a nice big glass of white wine...yummy! I was taken to the back by Hilary...note: everyone here is super friendly. The first was a body scrub which I've never had done before. You keep your belongings with you, so there's on lockers or anything like that to deal with. For those of you who are modest, you are able to keep on undergarments should you choose, but wear something you don't mind throwing away after the scrub. Hilary was nice enough to warn me of this when I made the appointment. They do offer disposable underwear if needed. The scrub was AWESOME! I would totally do this again. I was nervous because I didn't know if this had to be applied on the front of my upper torso or not. To clear things up, this area is not touched at all for a massage or for the scrub :-) - For those who are claustrophobic...no fear...I am as well and had no issues here. It's like being cuddled in warm blankets...on a really cold day, that's super nice. The application of the scrub felt awesome. It's like an awesome mini massage with exfoliation. After the scrub you get wrapped up and lay there for 25 minutes. It's a bit long to lay there when your back is hurting, but I got over it with some meditation. You can also choose to not lay there for so long. After the shower comes a massage....So nice! Hilary takes queues from the customer. If you want to talk, she talks. If you want silence, she's quiet. Such a great experience. I had a facial as well, but the person is the same person who gave me the wine but never told me her name. She was very friendly and did well with my sensitive skin and tinted my brows and lashes. The room this is done in makes you feel a little exposed. While there are sheer lace curtains from the bottom to 3/4 of the way up on the windows...it's still a little hard to relax in that room feeling exposed and hearing all of the outside street noise and voices from people walking by. But this has nothing to do with the service. Just be aware of the ambiance so you know what to expect. All in all, I would go back for sure. The downside is that it's in Smyrna/Marietta area and I live in Cumming, so it's quite the haul for a spa treatment.

She was very nice and knowledgeable. She asked me some questions to get to know the routine for my face, and then she looked at my skin for my skin type. She did my facial according to my skin type and the needs of my face. She used different products and warm towels to clean my face. When she cleaned my face with the warm towel, she would put pressure on different spots to give me a gentle massage. I really enjoyed this part especially when she put light pressure on my eyes over the warm towel, it felt really good. At one point she gave me a steam treatment and at another point she extracted some of my blackheads. She also massages my upper chest, my arms and my hands. I don't really remember the order because the atmosphere was so relaxing and I was so comfortable that I was in and out of sleep. Then after she saw the purchase date, proceeded to tell my husband that the gift card was "booted" out of the system. How was it booted out of the system when you just pulled it up? So I called, the woman then told me that there is an expiration date on the paper. There was no expiration date. Then she says, oh well in the fine print, it says you can't use it after a year. When I read the fine print, it mentioned that the gift card must be valid for a year from the date of the reopening of the spa due (April 2020) to COVID-19 virus closure. My gift card was purchased in 2022 so I had no idea that applied to this. If there's a one year "policy" the person purchasing the gift card needs to be made aware. Nonetheless, this business is essentially stealing money. Someone paid this business $80, all for nothing. That is stealing, I don't care how you look at it. On top of that, I am looking for a new spa to get massages I would've loved to try this business out to see if I could make it a part of my self care routine. But I will never spend my money here. I write blogs & create content for places people need to try while in Atlanta. I've seen quality customer service, and this place is just not it.
