I met the stated qualifications with a 600+ credit score, verified income exceeding 4-5x the rent, veteran status, and no criminal history or prior evictions. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication after everything was submitted. I had difficulty getting responses or updates regarding the status of the application after providing payment and highly sensitive personal documents. I understand companies have screening standards and may approve or deny applicants at their discretion. However, professionalism, communication, and transparency should still be expected -- especially when applicants are being asked to provide private personal and financial information. I hope this encourages better communication and professionalism for future applicants.

I have contacted code enforcement, so the city can handle the mess they left behind, but I highly suggest you look elsewhere for property management if you care about your investment in the long run.
