This spot is perfect whether you're having meal with a couple people or want to celebrate a large party! I came here in May for the first time and discovered that this spot has a main dining area and also multiple private dining rooms for gatherings like bridal showers, communions, birthdays etc. Ambiance: - rustic Spanish style decor - plenty of seating in main dining room, large round and rectangular tables to seat 10-15 guests - multiple private dining rooms available for larger parties Service: - staff was attentive and kindly explained the menu to us - food came to the table quickly Food: - grilled octopus salad: the octopus was tender and lightly charred. - giant prawns: prawns were slightly over cooked but the sauce was so delicious that we kept it for the whole meal to pair with the complimentary bread - Paella Valenciana: large size perfect to split with 4. It was filled with seafood and The mussels were particularly huge and delicious. I only wish the paella was cooked directly in the pan rather than made at mass quantities - Mariscada: filled with seafood- lobster was juicy and tender. The soup was flavorful, well seasoned and paired well with the potato chips and rice

Came here for drinks with a friend and sat at the bar. It was Saturday night so it was packed, but not impossible to find a seat. Service was great but the food came soooo slow (that was on the kitchen, not the bartender.) Bartender was super friendly and entertaining to help pass the time. Steak but nice and juicy, but a tad fatty and could have used more seasoning. Wish they also had more options for sides. The garlic butter spread was amazing. So good! I'd def come back for happy hour!

Took my grandma on a little date here a few weeks ago! The restaurant was super busy which was a great sign for me! The food was fresh, flavorful, and affordable! I will certainly return when I'm back in town.

Always love to stop here when I'm in town. Jimmy the Bartender will make you stay enjoyable. He recommended the T-bone steak which came out on a hot stone. Can't forget the Sangrias which are always delicious . A nice relaxed atmosphere.

Carrot cake. Would not recommend it.

Check out the lobster tails, whole lobsters and steaks of course. Super nice staff, too.

Decided to try this restaurant because I was told that it's one of the best in the area. So for starters, the biggest problem was trying to get the attention of our waiter. He seemed a little overwhelmed. The food was delicious, I just wish it was served hotter than it was. The Spanish potatoes that we ordered came from the kitchen extremely cold. Outside of most our meals being served either cold or warm the taste of the meals were great. I would recommend the peach sangria, that was served iced cold and it was extremely refreshing‼

I walked in and two super nice young ladies were making and serving the food. I appreciated that I was greeted right away and my order taken right away. If Yelp had star options for both the food and the service, I definitely would have given them 4 or 5 stars. I almost always go completely overboard when I try a place the first time. I picked up almost $80 worth of takeout so that I could try a little bit of everything. I really, really wanted to love the food here but I didn't. Unfortunately I didn't really find anything that I ordered that flavorful. The food wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't have the delicious flavors that I normally associate with great Puerto Rican food. As I mentioned it was an unbelievably hot day so maybe the cook was having an off day because of that. If I'm ever driving by there, I'd probably give it another chance since it has such great reviews from other people.

I would definitely stop in again or order takeout from here. It's a nice family restaurant with authentic cuisine. Parking might be an issue since it's in middle of New Brunswick.

Got the soupy rice dish (forget the name) with shrimp. SO satisfying! They offer complimentary soup ahead of your entree, along with bread. It was hard not to overeat! Huge portions too, btw. Very generous. Sat at the bar. Bartender was hard working, serving all the customers who were sitting at the bar as well as keeping up with bar needs. Very friendly. Looks like the place can get busy for dinner so probably best to make reservations.

I'm not sure if it was because it was midweek or if the chef was simply off his game on this night, but the experience was disappointing overall. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was that my knife was dirty. I ended up taking another knife from a different table. The ambiance, as always, was wonderful, and there were only two other tables occupied, so the restaurant was not busy at all. They started us off with soup, and it was chicken noodle soup. I was honestly very disappointed. When I go to a Spanish restaurant, especially one like this, I expect something traditional like caldo gallego or a similar house soup -- not chicken noodle soup that I could easily make at home. For appetizers, we ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and calamari. Both were absolutely delicious and honestly the highlight of the meal. We also had to ask the waiter for bread, and when it finally arrived, we were each given one very small roll. Our main entrées were sautéed tilapia and shrimp in lemon sauce with mashed potatoes and string beans, and breaded veal cutlet Milanese with mushrooms in a wine and brandy sauce over mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, neither entrée stood out the way meals here usually do. The tilapia was sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and absolutely swimming in lemon sauce. There was so much sauce that it completely soaked the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I could only eat the top portion of the fish. My husband also mentioned that his breaded veal was very oily. The waiter never returned to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The water had no ice and felt warm. We also had to ask for additional bread. I'm used to bread being left at the table, not rationed piece by piece. When the waiter asked if we enjoyed our meal, I politely explained that I did not care for mine and why, especially since most of it was left untouched. He looked at me like I had ten heads. I truly hate writing this because this restaurant has been one of my favorites for years, but this visit just did not live up to the standard I've come to expect.
