A step back in time, the walls and ceilings are filled with old fashioned relics including antique long boats, planes, and a train you can sit inside and dine! Staff are all sweet college kids so make sure to tip them well! We got the trio plate and especially liked the fettuccini Alfredo!

The food tasted amazing. The Service was top-notch. The decor and atmosphere was just right for a date night with hubby.

I've lived around Akron for 20 years and have always wanted to check this place out and finally did. The inside was really cool. Alot of different signs and a trolly car, that was fun. Garlic cheese bread was good and the $1 additional side salad was basic but good for the price. I was pretty disappointed though in the sauce, literally had no flavor. After a lot of pepper, hot peppers seeds, and Parmesan cheese (which we had to wait 10 minutes to get), it was edible. My sauce was super watery in the build your own bowl. Glad I came but Will not go again.

The red sauce was way to sweet and the Alfredo grainy. The portions are decent size. The service was good. But it was a Wednesday night. Not many people. Had difficulty finding the restaurant because most of the sign was burnt out.

Finally visited this local spot in downtown Akron where it's hard to tell from the outside what's going on inside. You walk in and it's huge! A high-ceiling warehouse vibe with a very eclectic mix of art and local history, big light fixtures of varying styles, and old-style games in the front near the bar, even the skee-ball that I loved as a kid in NJ. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food was good and well-priced for the quality. The sauce is on the sweet side and served generously with the pasta dishes. The bread and salad were solid. On Friday night, any bottle of wine is $15 and they have other drink specials each evening. It was a little warm inside on this very hot day. Overall, definitely recommend a visit. Kids would like it here too.

So we had to wait for a table which was fine. We waited about 20 minutes got sat at a table. It took nine minutes for anybody to even acknowledge that we were sitting there and then it took 10 minutes or so to have drinks brought out and bread. They said that they were short staffed that would probably be an understatement. We got some toasted ravioli and my sister had ordered some fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and I ordered the baked ziti with Italian sausage- the ravioli came out right away. I had also ordered a cup of soup and that followed roughly 5 or six minutes later and then the entrées seem to be taking a little bit of time and we realize that we ordered more than we really needed at the time so we asked if we could get our entrées to go only to realize that once we got home that they were incorrect there was no meat on the entrées which we had to pay for so that was put on the bill and we never received it and just in general everything was kind of slow moving and the restaurant wasn't busy, but there were people working the waiter that we had. I do not remember his name. He seemed a little uneducated in regards to the menu. I'm used to eating at this restaurant of course I have not been there in some years because I don't live here anymore. I live in Texas, but my friend Randy used to be the general manager. The food was always exquisite and very good. the service was always on point and unfortunately I just I don't know if it was just our waiter or if it was the restaurant in general Definitely need some work on a Friday night at the time we were there they should've been absolutely packed. There were two rooms that were completely closed off. It's hard to generate business when you have people waiting 20 minutes to get half ass who food. So badly too you had to get it to go then for it to be even worse when you got it to go. Had I had an opportunity to speak to a manager I probably would have but I didn't get a chance to notice what was going on with my entrée until I got back to my hotel room and a few hours later got a little bit hungry, and decided I wanted to heat it up, open it up and realized The sausage wasn't in there and then my sister called and said there's no chicken in my Alfredo and I'm like so we charged extra money that we didn't get anything and then the food wasn't that great the service was low mediocre at best. I feel with proper training and proper leadership. This could be an amazing well ran establishment like it used to be 20 years ago. Constantly full people were dressed. Nice service was prompt and on time I never got the glass that I ordered with my beer. I asked for it three times and still never got it and I think that we were his only table but being that I travel and I go to these restaurants all the time the fish rats from the head. Whoever is the manager and owner of that establishment is to oversee it. It's their responsibility to make sure that their servers and bartenders and cooking staff and everybody is running like a well oiled machine and I know that that restaurant used to be that way because it was my favorite so to see it come to such a really bad slide down is disappointing.

Food is reallly good, especially that sourdough bread and the 15 layer lasagna. I hadn't been here since college, which was (gulp) well over 20 years ago. Yesterday I went for a banquet and I thought they did a great job. The room was great. The service was fast and efficient. The food was delicious. I have always liked the warehouse atmosphere and I think the architecture and decor is lovely. As a matter of fact, I'll be using this venue for a private event function in the fall. I'm already looking forward to it. Our event organizer said they are very easy to work with. Made the process smooth and simple.

Spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. Too much fennel in the sausage though.

This was my first time eating here. The atmosphere was very entertaining, and the service was pretty good. The pasta sauce is super robust, and a little sweet for my liking. I did enjoy the Chicken parm itself though. Its not authentic, but It's at least better than the Olive Garden. I would return here, as the place itself was pretty cool. The prices aren't too bad either.

I used to game here for DnD but had to temporarily quit game, I recently found out a year ago I guess I made people uncomfortable during a game and I am not welcome at a table. None of this was brought to my attention when it happened, all I remember is one silly thing I would do that someone thought was excessive and I quit doing it (i.e., fart jokes). I followed all the game rules and was a courteous player. The DM never explained that I made someone/people uncomfortable nor anything was discussed with me, no clear communication. I was looking for a table months ago to come back to in discord, nothing was mentioned. I messaged multiple DMs over the year and once again, nothing mentioned. Yesterday I ask to join a one-shot game and I received a private message from someone at my old table a year ago saying they don't want to game with me but no actual explaination of why. I messaged the owner and that's how I found out about all this clique, childish, petty behavior with terrible communication. A bunch of full grown adults with control issues, clutching their man-pearls and being avoidant, he-motional, testerical men. The owner cannot even tell me why I was banned from DnD, he doesn't remember what I did! This place is a joke, I can't believe this is happening to me and I am never going back, even if they say I can come back and game. It's obvious someone wants me out and if I come back then I will be walking on egg shells until I finally get banned; very much high school drama from grown adults. Play Dungeons and Dragons somewhere else, if you can, it's not worth the risk. You could be playing a great game and spending money, thinking everything is ok but then if a DM doesn't like you then you will be treated the same way I was. It happened to me then it can happen to you. I was told I play DnD different, not wrong, not in an uncomfortable way, and that lead to me being banned without being told. Play at your own risk. Also this place has always had issues with getting waited on in a timely manner, overpriced food coming out late and sometimes orders getting messed up. I used to look past it but moving forward I won't be so forgiving of places anymore. I have no time and money for overpriced petty.

Dark, moody, sexy...exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when you're getting dressed up, grabbing cocktails and catching up with a girlfriend. We grabbed seats at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. She welcomed us right away, asked if it was our first time, and gave us a quick rundown of the menu and cocktails. For our first drink, we both ordered the Black Widow...having absolutely no idea that it came with a whole presentation. Needless to say, we were entertained. The drinks here aren't just drinks -- they're part of the experience. For dinner, I ordered the gnocchi but swapped out the regular sauce for the spicy marinara they use with the calamari. GREAT decision. The spicy marinara worked so well with the gnocchi and I'd absolutely order it that way again. Pricing felt very fair for what you're getting. The food and cocktails were both high quality, but you're also paying for the ambiance and overall experience -- and Oak & Olive nails that part. Great drinks, great food, fantastic atmosphere and exactly what our girls' night needed. We'll definitely be back!

The brick building is impressive and very unique for a restaurant. As we entered, we noticed the tall ceiling and ambiance was warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Kellye, was genuinely very friendly. She was courteous and gave us a little background on the history of the place. She answered questions we had about the menu. I ordered the burger because I wanted comfort food after the last 2 days of airport food. He ordered the venison because that's not something common you find in Hawaii. I loved their Industry light lager beer. The burger itself tasted great, definitely from a nice cut of beef and not just ground beef that comes on styrofoam. I like the type of bun it came on, however, I think mine was toasted perhaps too long as it was a bit hard. The fingerling potatoes it came with were cooked perfectly - I enjoyed the crunchy bits from the skins too. His venison he ordered was cooked medium rare just as he requested. The pineapple risotto was really good, cooked well and the sauce was nice and creamy. He did not like the pineapple in it tho - didn't quite pair well with the pasta. He picked out the pineapple and finished the rest. We also shared the lobster bisque. OMG this was a total win. It had a generous amount of buttery lobster on top that melted in your mouth. The soup was amazing as well. We had no room for dessert and I actually had leftovers to take home. I couldn't eat it all. We are definitely going to come back at least one more time before our travels back home. Quite honestly, we had major difficulty choosing what plate we wanted because everything sounded delicious. I also wanted to try the beef sandwich, mushroom risotto, gnocchi and a few more plates. Thank you Kellye for the warm welcome, you made our dinner a delightful treat.

It is a unique venue, with cute patio but the busy street so close by we opted to be inside. Great to have this historic building restored to a restaurant in Green. I had the lobster gnocchi, it had a sauce of Gruyère/white cheddar, and parmesan tuile (which turned out to be a simple parm crisp that I happened to have a bag at home for salads). When the dish was brought out, it was very thick and was not real hot temperature-wise, and the presentation was underwhelming. There were 3 very small, dry pieces (like 2 inches long) of lobster sitting atop the gnocchi, no sauce on it. Seemed like packaged lobster. I ate the lobster and half of the gnocchi and brought remainder home. When I warmed it next day, I added my homemade garden tomato Italian sauce, which made it delicious! I suggest the chef offer this choice in future. For $36 I would also expect some sort of vegetable on the side, or a small salad. There was also no bread served, even though there were small bread plates (?) brought with the silverware. My friend ordered beet salad, which she liked-had golden beets vs. red. Another had halibut which is very mild, served with risotto and a lot of roasted Brussels sprouts (she requested instead of broccolini) which were good. The waitress was very nice, professional and asked a few minutes after serving if we needed anything. Service was great, had time for cocktails before dinner served and was not made to feel rushed. It was a loud and lively atmosphere by 5:45, quiet at 5pm. I liked the music playing, was modern rock that anyone could like, energized vibes. I will go back, want to try happy hour and a dessert. This restaurant has a fun/sophisticated casual ambiance for adults of all ages, especially millennials and Gen X.
