That was a major deciding factor in booking with them. On the day of the event, a different gaming company showed up instead. They arrived late, with an inferior gaming truck, and no Switch at all--which was not what was promised or contracted. It was clear the event had been outsourced to a cheaper third-party provider. Due to constant game updates and extremely long loading times, the kids were only able to use the gaming truck for about 30 minutes total. They quickly lost interest and ended up playing on our own PS5 and Switch inside the house, which worked far better than the truck. The experience we paid for was essentially unusable. After the event, All Out Gaming acknowledged that the service delivered did not match what was promised and offered a refund. Despite multiple follow-ups on my end, no refund has ever been issued. This experience was incredibly disappointing and did not come close to what was advertised or paid for. I would strongly caution others to confirm exactly who will be showing up, what equipment will actually be provided, and to get everything in writing before booking

Instead of focusing on the game, we found ourselves thinking about how hot it was. If the temperature issue is addressed, I think this would be a much more enjoyable experience. The game is definitely worth trying, but the lack of ventilation took away from what could have been a great experience.

There are also great events, league nights, lessons, and membership programs offered at the AGS to check out! In addition to golf, it also has a great bar with delicious drinks! Unreal Garden? More like, unreal how not worth the money this experience was! The whole thing felt…read morelike a bait-and-switch compared to the way it's advertised. BEWARE of any video trailers or glowing reviews you read online about the Verse Immersive experience! Apparently, many of the reviews for experiences like the Unreal Garden seem to be referring to a much more quality crafted installation from several years ago, that featured actual physical set pieces interwoven with the augmented reality visuals, to create a richer experience that may have been more worthwhile. I wouldn't know, because that's not at all what is featured at the Ponce City Market installation of Verse Immersive. What we got was lame, janky and absolutely nowhere near worth the $50 dollars per person they charged us (we did both the Unreal Garden and Space Walk experiences, neither of which was even remotely impressive). As another reviewer already mentioned, the installation itself is just a small, empty upper warehouse room, with an intrusive pillar in the middle, and far too much light pouring in from the windows and overhead lighting to be helpful for the type of augmented reality experience we were served. But even if the location had been perfectly serviceable, the AR experience itself was incredibly sad. The HoloLens headsets are rather pathetic, in comparison to the kind of technology anyone who has played on a Quest 2 or Playstation VR knows can be accomplished these days. They were janky and literally held together with duct tape. The screens themselves were barely more than ill-fitted sunglasses with a tiny field of view that displayed dull-colored, weakly visible projections of 3D graphics that were no better than those that could be found in video games from two decades ago, and most of that was very sparsely littered across the field of view. The "interactive" aspects were just as lame, with little more than pop-ups you hovered a cursor over to engage. The whole "experience" is just walking around an empty room, rushed by a timer, while looking at cruddy, low-res projections that are ill-fitted to the space you're in. The whole thing would rightly be worth less than $10 per person, if that. The audacity of the crooks peddling this rip-off for $30+ per person is astounding, charging as much as they do for what is easily identified as an inferior experience to well-known, comparable technology that exists today. The only way they get away with it is because people buy tickets online, unaware of how false the advertising is, then go to the location only to find how lame it is, after the fact. Do not--I repeat--DO NOT pay these charlatans your money, it is a complete RIP-OFF!!! Save the money you would have spent on this sad excursion toward buying a Quest VR headset. You will get a hundredfold more impressive experience out of even the free apps and games on a Quest headset than Verse Immersive's trash bait-and-switch has to offer.

We went to Ponce City Market for the Verse Immersive game as a special treat for the end of summer…read more It was probably the worst gaming experiences we've ever had in Atlanta. We had the first time slot for the day. When we arrive, the staff member was on her phone and had not even started setting up, even though she had a list of appointments and how many people were in each party. She asks which games we want to play; they only have 4 of the games advertised on the web site. Ten minutes of her trying to cobble together 3 headsets for our group and 2 headsets for another group who arrived at the same time. The headsets are completely falling apart, many held together with gray tape. She gives the two best headsets to the other group who are only doing one game, and the remaining 3 beat up, falling apart headsets to our group that paid for 2 games+1 kinetic game. She starts the other group with their game, then my two kids, and my headset completely falls apart. Now these games were supposed to be interactive where you are playing with your group, but there is little real interaction. We are in an open loft area with sunshine coming through the blinds, with our group working around the other group, playing two different games. You can see the loft blended with the game, I am holding my headset up so it's not falling off, it barely recognizes your hand gestures, and the game glitches and pauses for loading quite frequently. We finish the first game (Unreal Garden), which was OK (little did I realize, it would be the best of the 3). Then we had to wait another 10 minutes while the staff member finishes gossiping with another staff member and tries to cobble together 3 headsets that will work again. The second game (Primal Ranch) is just plain bad, lots of narration, no clear instructions, and not much actual game. I didn't play the final kinetic game (Primal Fighter) because I was just done. My kids participated and it was over in less than 10 minutes. I'm not quite sure how 3 people could have played the kinetic game anyway. For $180, I expected a lot more. It was a complete disappointment; definitely do not recommend. There are a LOT better activities that you can spend that kind of money on in Atlanta.
