It was a good experience. I did have some technical difficulty were my headset went completely white and I couldn't always see my weapon. Overall it was a cool experience and I would try it again! The facility was very clean and Asia was helpful in explaining things.

Did not know this place existed until I saw a Facebook ad and I knew I had to go because I'm a big kid at heart. This was my first time ever experiencing a VR game. We did not make a reservation so when we got there, the next available game was 2 hours out. We didn't mind and that gave us time to walk around and enjoy the area which was such a vibe. Got back about 15 mins prior to our appointment for the Squid Games experience. Robert was kind and he helped us and explained how everything works. It was two of us and we were paired with two other people. The game lasted about 20-25 mins. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this experience. The only con is it is a bit pricey but I feel it's well worth it. You get a free video at the end that is emailed to you. Great for large groups, parties, and date night.

I enjoyed my time here for my friend's birthday, but I do have notes. We arrived for sign in around 5:45 pm. The reservation was at 6 and everyone in my group arrived on time. But we didn't play until 6:30pm. Tip: have the staff double check your arm and leg sensors before going in. Once we started playing there were a few in game glitches. My gun would disappear and shoot the wrong way. The chainsaw I had in my hand would stop working. Oh and it was hot, there were fans but they only helped when you were on that side of the field. The video compilation and team ranking at the end was cool. It's also a great souvenir. I don't know if I'll be back but I don't regret it.

Great time here. Customer service could be improved - let guests know the rules upfront instead of right before the game; have an organized distribution system; help the entire group and not just one person etc. We had to ask to be walked through how to play the game but it turned out well in the end. Apparently the colors determine what order you pick your weapons in - I was pink and 5th to pick. It was fun interacting in the game with some players that have been there before and our group of newbies. From what I could see, there are sanitation protocols that are followed. It was a really good time playing the game. The length of time was great and the teamwork made the game even more fun. The recap at the end was hilarious. We were there celebrating a birthday and the integration into the game was a fantastic touch.

What a fun night! So cool! It was such a great experience! I was literally caught by some zombies in my game and I was scared for a moment or two! Ha! And I screamed! Hahahah. After being geared up you can fully interact with the environment and the group you came with in the virtual reality! You will feel when zombies touch you by vibrations! My mother in law scored the highest because she kept shooting the many rats on the ground! You also get to choose some really cool nicknames. Then they put together a video of everyone playing together to summarize your visit. I'm impressed with the space also. There are several rooms that can accommodate many large groups! Can't believe there's only one review and it has one star just because they were late to their appt and weren't allowed to play. Just be on time because there's many steps to go through before playing. I want to come back and devise a strategy for my team instead of just going on blind!

It was easy to check in and the amount of time allotted is ok. They send you the video of your session once it is done and they have multiple rooms to play depending on which game you choose.

Overall, great experience!!! Got there around 12:15 had to check in and do the waiver and wait for the rest of my party which was a little bit tardy. The staff specifically explained that it will cut into RVR experience time which would be understandable I did take an additional 10 minutes to put on the sensors vez select the weapon and prep for the VR experience once we started I definitely got my walking dead shoot them up bang bang experience on. If y'all ever gonna check it out, actually look at the video and the pictures of our team "Miami bandits"

So this is something I just popped up kind of recently and I've been dying to go. It was a really good time. We got there at the appropriate time but they had us waiting about 20 minutes later because there were people who were running late and then there was some mechanical issues as well. I mean that sucked but it's nobody's fault necessarily unless they just did not schedule very well and had people run over time. We got geared up and we got in the game and the game itself was fun. It was one of those scary zombie joints that you see a lot of virtual reality gamers do. You get to put on all the gear and you get to pick your guns and then you're in the game. The game kept messing up, which really kind of stopped the momentum of the fun, but I mean it's a machine, and machines sometimes break. Not a big deal. I still had a good time regardless though. Would I go back again? I sure absolutely would. They have about five other games to run and I would like to try at least another one.

I didn't know what to expect when I came here. Let me tell you I had the time of my life. This place is definitely worth the price! Everything was organized and clean. I chose this place for date night with my boyfriend. We chose to play with other people and I'm happy we did. We meet some new friends and had a great time fighting off zombies. The game felt so real. I could feel when I was being attacked and when the animals were jumping on my back! At the end of the game they send you a video of the game you play. It shows the version of you in the game and the real time version of you with the equipment on. Overall I'm going back! 10/10 I highly recommend this place.

Joystick Gamebar looks like it's been here a long time. There are two main areas: The bar is in the main area where people enter, and it has a many old school games that were commonly found in video game arcades from the 1970s through 1990s, and there is another big room with lots of chairs and couches, and a lot more quirky decorations scattered throughout the room. Outside food was catered, so I wasn't aware that Joystick Gamebar also sold food. The video games were fun. Although one of our directors brought lots of rolls of quarters, one of the managers made it so that all of our employees were able to play the games without inserting any quarters. This was probably a great thing for us, since I noticed most of my colleagues were really awful at playing video games. One of my favorite video games, Galaga, was available, so, after getting killed early in the game a few times, I ended up being on the high scores list! Had a fun time!

I had an idea of what this place, but wasn't exactly sure what it all entailed. We walked in and were greeted by a large shelf or should I say shelves of a bunch of different board and card games. We walked to the register and told them we wanted to play some board/card games. I believe it was $7 per hour and then $35 for everything else. Everything else means all the video/electronic games. Think PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox. It was sooooo cool seeing everyone play all the different games. There were bigger groups, couples, people by themselves. It's truly a place where anyone can go and have a good time! We got some drinks (they have a really cool cocktail menu). They do have a food menu too, but we just came from dinner, so we only got drinks. Our service wasn't the best though. It took forever for someone to come and check on us, and no one came to fill our water the entire time we were there. Service could definitely be a lot better! Battle & Brew is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It's also pretty big too, so there is plenty of seating inside. I would definitely come back here in the future and play some of the video games, as I love to play some Nintendo Switch!

They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. If I could give it a 0 I would.

Skot, the manager who helped us get set up, was super nice and friendly. The staff in general were helpful here and the tutorial for how to use the harness and hooks seemed to suffice, although at times we would have liked for more people around. Part of the course being so spread out is that even on a busy holiday weekend, at times the kids were really by themselves. The thing that maybe stands out the most about this place is how independent it is. At times the kids found this frustrating but I think it inspires independence, helps build confidence, and ironically the lack of help at times maybe ends up being more of a plus. It also means that there are fewer bottle necks assuming you aren't doing the course with a big group, as there are many points where you have to wait for someone to finish the section before you go. The scale of the place also helps thinning out any sort of lines. It's important to understand that there are a series of levels and difficulties and different courses within the overall park/terrain and it's a sort of choose your own adventure situation. In this way, you can hook and unhook yourself to these different courses as you transition and walk within the space. My daughter really wanted to advance past level 3 and had gained the confidence to do so, but you have to be 12 or older for levels 4 and up. From a weight perspective with some of the course set up (and zip lines), I think this makes sense and ultimately my daughter loved it and still didn't want to leave. We saw quite a few teens there who seemed to be enjoying themselves too, but they said there were fewer zip lines and more obstacle type situations with the higher levels. I would definitely come back here and especially as my younger one gets older (I think it's 7 and older for the bigger course?) try some more of the tracks. There are also some snacks at the main ticket place where people standing by can munch. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes

Went in July 2025 (2nd time) with my kiddos - age 7 & 11. We had a great time. Went to the…read moreDunwoody location, which offers 4 different levels. Parking is free but very limited. They have a small lot and then some street parking. I would advise to get there early to find a spot. Registration was easy and waivers could be done online. There are portable toilets for use. Upon arrival you get a colored coded wristband. Then you go to a platform to get harnessed up and gloves are availablefor purchase $5 each. When I visited in 2023 they were provided for free. Luckily, I had noticed this change and used my gloves from before. You can wear your own gloves. I would recommend durable, garden type gloves that allow flexing and gripping of your hands. The staff harnesses you up on the platform. Next is orientation where they show you how to use the hook and zip line attachment. There's a few practice areas. Brief but detailed orientation and then you're on your own to explore. The guides don't lead the activities, you navigate them independently and are responsible for following the directions provided during orientation. No helmet provided. We opted to start at level 1 and within our 2.5 hour time frame we were able to complete levels 1, 2a, and 3. We skipped 2b and wasnt able to get to level 4. It wasn't crowded. It just takes time to get the hook over certain areas and having to help others with that kind of slows you down. But I didn't feel rushed. Every time we started a new level we we first and no one ahead to slow us down. The experience was fun. My kids loved it!!! I think people of all ages with decent health can do this activity. Its a full body workout for sure. I was drenched it sweat. Better have good knees. It was challenging as far as balance and navigating some of the obstacles. Workers are noted throughout for assistance but they're on the ground. Based on your colored armband the workers will call out your remaining time for your visit. And I wouldn't recommend if you have balance issues, get dizzy or fear of heights. They have the chickpea level for ages 4 - 6. The remaining levels they recommend for ages 7 and up. It worked out great to have my 11 year old go first then my 7 year old with me behind so the 11 year old could help in front and me behind with navigating the hooks when it got a little tricky. Even some adults need help at times. The platforms are small IMO. They said 3 people per platform but some could barely hold 2. Level 3 did have the best zip lining experience. I would definitely recommend for couples, families, solo and friends. Great team building thing to do as well. They have a concession stand that sells drinks and gifts. We had brought our water bottles and was able to drink halfway thru the adventure. They have benches and tables scattered around that you can sit at. They do birthday parties and have night time experiences. I would definitely recommend that you wear sunscreen, bug repellent, comfortable clothes and sneakers. I wore a slim fanny pack to carry my phone and keys.
