This was a lot of fun and something I had been wanting to try for a while. It was a bit pricey, but I think it was worth it for the experience. We walked in on a Friday around noon and were able to get started without much hassle, which was a nice surprise. The facility itself was clean and well set up. The concept is very interactive and different from anything else we've done--definitely more engaging than a typical arcade-style experience. They also offer memberships, and if I were local, I would seriously consider it. Overall, a fun and unique experience that I'm glad we tried, and I'd recommend it for groups looking for something active and different. read more

Parking: If you're lucky, you'll find a parallel spot. Otherwise, there's a parking garage across the street at the hotel and a few lots within walking distance. Joined my friend to celebrate her birthday on a Friday night and we had an amazing time! I was so excited to try Sandbox and it did not disappoint. We played the Stranger Things game and while I've never watched Stranger Things, it was very engaging and interactive. I was also very worried about motion sickness which tends to get me with VR headsets and I didn't experience that here which was a plus! Also be cognizant of the fact you can be playing with other people you do not know! The staff was very friendly and I love the way they celebrate birthdays here with the virtual birthday party! They also send videos and photos from the gameplay that you can save to your phone which was a great touch! My only opportunity for improvement was that it was SUPER HOT while playing and though there were fans, they were only activated at certain points during gameplay. Also, there was a time when I accidentally hit someone in real life so that's pretty dangerous! read more

What a FUN experience! We loved Sandbox VR at the Battery. Our group of three did the Stranger Things Experience and had a ball. The gentlemen who helped us get ready were thorough and helpful. We loved Sandbox that they provide a military discount and give you link after with a video of your experience. Got our hearts pumping and we definitely were sweating a bit. We definitely want to return! read more

Sandbox VR - @JADENSX birthday celebration! - Virtual Reality Centers Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

They were greatly behind... we had an appointment but they were 30 mins behind that. There is no place to sit while you wait either... However after playing the game all I can say is WOW! What a BLAST!! It is a full team game that drops you into full out action. We did the deadwood Mansion. Deadwood is a series of VR zombie games that has you being overrun by zombies and things while your team is trying to fend them off to keep things safe. It is AWESOME!! My boys, my sons GF, and I had 30 mins of straight of excitement and unfettered fun! My 10 year old was a zombie killing machine... my oldest won mvp and his gf was just behind him... it was completely immersive and sooooo much fun! We are going back to play the second version in two weeks... it isn't cheap! But it is so worth it! I highly recommend trying this.. they have other games besides zombie games... but man if you're into horror shooting type games (it is not that bad scary) this is the game to play! read more

Sandbox VR - Going to shoot some zombies!! Deadwood Mansion! - Virtual Reality Centers Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

This was my first experience with a virtual reality event. I went with four adults and two adolescent kids. Half of the group had tried it before and really enjoyed it. The place is well run and you'll wear all sorts of equipment to enhance your VR experience by placing you in the action activity of your choosing. You see yourself and your companions as different characters of your choice. Although it's technology advanced and has a coolness factor, it's not something that I'd crave going back to multiple times. Although you carry a simulated weapon and shoot at designated enemies, it's not like you can always tell whether your shot or someone else's actually hit the target, so I didn't personally feel a great sense of satisfaction with my performance. And it's kind of built in that this represents an activity that promotes violent imaging and killing, so it's a bit grim to see children coming for this. But for the right audience, I think it's probably done well, and it's nice that they give you a video of your group as well as video clips of what you were shooting at during your activity. Note that you can park two hours for free in the garage, so don't use the street parking for which you have to pay as soon as you park. read more

Definitely a amazing experience and will definitely go back. Ella was a great host. Would highly recommend her.

So I really rock with sandbox, they are awesome. Just in general, this one was a new one that I've been to because I'd usually go on to the interlock one. This one was shaped a little bit differently because it was inside of a strip mall area but it was still plenty of space. Not as much space as the other one but this is just the waiting area, they have plenty plenty of rooms to go to as far as the gaming what's concerned. We were a little bit early and they actually were able to get us in earlier so I appreciate them working with us to try to get us in and out. Everybody was explained the rules and it went really well. They were careful to go over all the rules and the roles before the game started so we were all clear. This one was a good location to go to and everybody was really friendly there. read more

Great experience. Deadwood Phobia(I think that's what we did).. like a zombie mission. We made a reservation as we were on the way and we were able to jump right in.. I'm sure it's because it's a Monday but still a plus. So much fun ! Wish I lived near on so I could come back ! Definitely worth going with your whole family read more

This was a blast! I'm scary though so I spent 75% of the time screaming and wishing it was over lol. It was very realistic with sensors on your wrists, ankles, a vest with sensors, goggles, and headphones. Could not have been more real. I think it was well worth the money and you get a video at the end. Will definitely return. My family and I did death mansion. read more

Bought a session during vacation not thinking to check about the Braves in town. They do not have dedicated parking for this place so if the lots are all full you are out of luck. I called to see what they suggest and they had nothing to offer. They are refusing a refund and now I am stuck having to try to get back there but also having to make sure I can park when I do, WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. We did try Immersive Gamebox in Alpharetta which was really fun. And had parking ! read more

Fun experience. We did the Squid Games VR. They have people in the front directing you to complete the waivers in the tablets. We made a reservation online, so I'm not sure how it works if you're walking in without one. There were two people who helped the group get situated before the game started. Overall, lots of fun and I can't wait to try another game. read more

Me and my wife had a great time! It was our first time doing a VR bar and we enjoyed every minute of it. I'm lagging on my review but we went and did the Squid Game one back in December. Really fun and the experience was worth every dollar. read more

Sandbox VR - The Squid Games VR was great! It's not exactly like the show but it'll still get your heart pumping lol - Virtual Reality Centers Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Do not waste any money here! And it's so expensive to be run so poorly. It was a night mare and cost us 250$ for 4 people for 35 minutes after all the mess just trying to get started . Loud, chaotic, disorganized... waste of money read more

Absolutely horrible experience. We booked the birthday package with 2 games 2 weeks in advance, their employee made a mistake by booking both games at the same time slot. in the middle of the first game, manager came to us and said we cannot play the second game as another group was already waiting. When we asked them to reschedule another group instead and let the kids finish the birthday celebration, management called the security to kick 12 years old kids out! We were told we had to leave immediately. This place ruined my kid's birthday experience and behaved extremely unprofessionally. I do hope the manager of the place is getting fired over this. We will never be back! read more

Had a blast! 1st time, but definetly not the last. Also, great customer service; we got held up unexpectedly by the game letting out-unbelievable!-But had no problems being accommodated. Super job! read more

An incredible experience. So happy to see VR exist in a cooperative environment such as Sandbox VR. Holding weapons really adds to the experience in a way that home VR just can't. And the videos at the end are an excellent memento of the experience that lets you relive the experience and tell your story with friends and family afterwards. You NEED to try this place!!! read more

This place was soooo much fun, if you love a good adrenaline rush def check this place out. We did deadwood phobia and I'll definitely be back to do the others. Nahzir was our game host and he was the best, friendly and funny so shout to him! read more

It was a good experience, I would've loved to give it a 5 stars if it wasn't for the EXTREMELY rude employee who greets you at the door. She didn't greet me, she hollered at me in a horribly rude tone which made everyone uncomfortable. Ruined everyone's mood. She needs to get fired like what a horrible face to such a good company. You don't treat customers like that, nonetheless, people. No home manners. People like her need jobs like doordash, not this. And you know who I'm talking about, fire her if you want more customers. Stank attitude won't get you far in life! read more
