We came to relax and paint and have a beautiful experience, not to be slammed with songs loaded with F words, calling women bitc***, forcing women to do stuff kind of lyrics, and nigg* this and that laced throughout. About an hour of that before music transitioned to "random whatever" songs for about a half hour, then back to the rap. For most people, if not all, this is a special experience- couples, birthdays, romance, celebration, etc. so not everybody wants to hear this kind of music. How about instrumental, classical, jazz, or standard radio (CLEAN rock. R&B, rap, etc.)? Or better, do we even need music? We can then focus and enjoy each other's company. READ THE ROOM. Yes, we didn't speak up, but we shouldn't HAVE to. This is a professional business. Some White folks were uncomfortable AND even some Black folks, At a minimum, she should have asked, "Hey, is everybody okay with hard core rap, x-rated language, and women being called bit*****, kind of music?" 2) The instructor sat all the Black folks at one table, and all the White folks at another. I'm hoping that was just a weird fluke, but it was obvious. 3) Instructor/artist was very sweet, but not focused on her students as much as she could have been. She also ran over time. The location was great, but we wouldn't go back to this location, nor recommend to others unless the music changed and there was a different instructor. And we hope they don't play the same music at other locations.

It was so much fun and such a cool way to get creative. The women working there were so sweet, helpful, and accommodating. We never felt rushed at all, which made the experience even better. We had plenty of time to play around with colors, get creative, and make our bears completely our own. I booked our experience through Viator, and one important thing to know ahead of time is that the bears need about 72 hours to fully dry before they can be picked up. We were visiting from out of town, so luckily we had a friend in the Atlanta area who was able to pick them up and ship them to us afterward. Definitely something to plan for if you're traveling! Such a fun memory for my son's 10th birthday and we got to bring home our own little works of art. I would absolutely recommend this for families, friends, a date, or honestly anyone who wants to do something different and creative while in Atlanta! 10/10 ! we had a blast!

Boots and full clothing coverage is provided. But no eye protection for those who wear glasses. We anticipated it to be more of a group experience so we were surprised it was only me and who I came in with. I suppose it is self-explanatory but I also am more of a visual learner and would have appreciated some more tips and tricks before starting. You are given the primary colors and then some to work with. Sparkles and glitter are also offered at the end. Overall, we had a good experience but I do feel as though some aspects are lacking in terms of more guidance on how to customize or achieve certain effects. Well since this 5th birthday was SO special because my husband just published his first children's book about our son being a superhero..And the party had to double as a book release too.. We wanted to do something uncommon for a 5 year old's birthday or at least something we don't usually do! I called the Vinings School of Art, and the owner Cara or maybe it's spelled Kara, was very thorough and got my party booked right away! She insisted that I come by and view the space and decide which sculpture we wanted to do. The place is super cute, very colorful and festive, so minimum decorations are needed. Her and her assistant had the rooms spotless and ready to go way before it was time for the party to start. The kids had a blast! They created 3D rocket ships with two revolving planets! Cara/Kara was even nice enough to clean everything up after the younger babies who couldn't paint had made a mess of the toy area! Then, for my birthday this year, he surprised me with the course. I'm so grateful he did. I just finished my first eight weeks and have already signed up for another. From the start, everyone was welcoming and encouraging. Molly, the owner, sets that tone. She's personable, caring, and always willing to help. We learned different techniques throughout the course, but we also had the freedom to make whatever we wanted. Her guidance made me feel comfortable trying new things and more confident in what I could create. The art show at the end was incredible. I'd watched people build and glaze their pieces week after week, so seeing everyone's finished work on display felt so special. I invited friends and family to celebrate, and some of them left wanting to sign up for a class too! This studio has become a place I genuinely look forward to going. If you're thinking about trying a workshop or taking the eight-week course, I can't recommend it enough. Molly makes the experience.
