This place is about 5 minutes from my house so I truly wanted to love it. My facial appointment was for 2:15 but they didn't see me until 2:40 which is fine, whatever. However, I paid 175 dollars for a facial that didn't include any extractions and my esthetician was a very young girl who wasn't knowledgeable about skin in the slightest. She was very sweet but unfortunately I was very disappointed with the facial and scalp massage. Pretty much 0 effort in the scalp and arm massages. I visited Spa Virtue last Thursday for a body wrap and facial. I had gone wraps in NYC and Newark, NJ the most I ever paid was $100.00 dollars that included massage from head to toes. Spa Virtue wraps you and pours a liquid over your wrap no much quantity wraps you in a heat blanket for 1 hr. No out of pocket cost but they charged you $199.00. What it made it worse was the brighten $189.00 facial, still your money. They used to used the same product line as other spa's in Toms River those facial cost $99.00. I have been doing facials for years, never so disappointed experience, and will make sure my friends and family knows about it. I will never go back. First of all let me start by saying the place is very nice and clean. However the people that work there are trained robots. If you ask them a question they will give you an answer that the owner has trained them to do. Which in most cases is 100% incorrect. If I was an 18-year-old girl I would do the same thing. Because these girls are trained to do as they are told. As a review I will tell you I would give them 100% of cleanliness review. The rest I would tell you to, not waste your money on this establishment because the women that work there are pretty much trained robots by their owner to make her money. Please do yourself a favor and take your $$$ to a spa that has professionally trained women Who answer your questions based on actual knowledge not what Lynn the owner is training them to do. In summery I gave this business to Multiple times to redeem themselves however they have failed tremendously. My feelings on Spa Virtue vary! While they've made great use of the space; and largely sought to transform every sq ft, the space still feels like a cross between a tanning salon and a small gym. Albeit the simpler comforts: coconut water, coffee, tea, and trail mix, are a nice touch. On the other hand, the massage and treatment rooms could benefit from a more luxurious upgrade. Both the decor and ambiance here are very basic. My wife and I came because we purchased a Groupon for 3 Sculpt Pod secessions. Thankfully the spa associates were kind enough to recommend a better treatment, as our goals are weight-loss. They could've taken advantage and just up sold us a larger package, but because of this, they've won my business. I plan to come back here several times over October and November before my wedding to take advantage of their Double Whammy wrap!!! read more

Very friendly and accommodating staff that make you feel comfortable right from the start. I have tried several different services so far to help with pain and all were wonderful! Bri and kiki are great masseurs! I will be trying even more of their services over the upcoming months since there is a lot to choose from. I really enjoy this place. It's so quiet and peaceful. I love that they have two infrared saunas and steam showers (both of which are included in the membership). The membership is very affordable and makes it easy to go regularly. The massages are always great (I have had Cat, Ashley and Vicki, all of whom were great!). The staff is always nice and accommodating. My ONLY negative feedback is that they always try to upsell you on lotions or teas when you check out. When I have just had a nice relaxing massage, I just feel the sales pitch kind of puts a damper on the experience. But overall, always a great experience. read more

Bought a groupon ... was expecting a great first experience based on the reviews but was quickly disappointed when it was over . Groupon claims I was suppose to be getting a 60 min massage but it was really 25-30 mins. The steam shower was great. After a tour of the spa (where you feel like you have suddenly entered a different world), I was escorted to the dressing room with complimentary robes and shoes. I was then led to the relaxation room (private rooms with massage chairs, and low salt lamp lighting). to wait for the esthetician. Cathy came and we talked about my goals. She was so friendly and sweet. I felt completely comfortable. The entire experience was relaxing and tranquil. I've had services in many salons and this was by far -my favorite. My name is Debbie and I have been a customer of the body wrap for about 8 weeks ...I try and get in at least ever 2 weeks and am seriously considering a membership...on my most recent visit I experienced the pink grapefruit indulgence..and was so impressed i just had to write a review. Both the massage and the massage therapist (Ashley Mitchell) were amazing,Ashley took her time and was able to work out even the most difficult of my knots.At the end of the treatment my skin was left so soft and smooth and I was so relaxed it was incredible.Afterwards I had my waxing done by Ashley Smith who did a wonderful job...she was very personable and knowledgeable in her area of expertise (skin care) and was able to recommend products she felt I would benefit from...All the staff makes you feel welcomed as soon as you arrive but the atmosphere is completely pressure free which is one of the things I enjoyed the most....I highly recommend you try this spa..you will definitely enjoy :) read more

When I first heard of the Body Wrap Shoppe and Spa, I wasn't sure what to expect. One day I decided to try the Body Melt and Body Wrap on seperate ocassions. My thoughts were "This isn't going to work."
