I usually travel to the Ocean County Mall to get my eyebrow threaded, but today when I went my favorite place was completely closed and shut down. The whole inside of the store was cleared out! Disappointed, I looked up eyebrow threading places near me. Sure enough, this place was the first to pop up. I called the store and explained my situation. I'm very picky about who touches my eyebrows. Camille, the store owner, put me at ease and invited me to come in right away and she would make sure my eyebrows were perfect. As soon as I stopped in, she was so welcoming and the shop was very clean. We had a nice conversation, and she shared some tips with me on how to keep my eyebrows cleaned up. Although a little on the pricier side, I won't go anywhere else from now on! Not to mention, this place is 5 minutes down the road from me. Highly recommend! read more

i got my eyebrows done here and they look so good! i was scared to get them done here because i heard that threading hurts but honestly the way she did it, it didn't hurt. the lady who does the eyebrows knows what she's doing and is good at it! also it's only $15 which is a really good price. it's usually is 30 where i go. and she did a way better job. she shapes them and cuts them down. way better then going to european wax. definitely will be back once quarantine is over!! I got a haircut here for the 2nd time last weekend and I will not be back. The first time I came, my hair was washed so the stylist used a spray bottle to wet my hair. My hair barely has any knots in it but she brushed through it with a fine tooth comb and was pulling on my hair while combing, telling me to keep my head straight when she was hurting me. I had to tell her that multiple times. My hair was pretty long (mid back) and I told her I wanted round layers. She said she would have to cut the shortest part of my hair to shoulder length. She didn't speak that much English so it was hard to communicate with her. I was nervous that she didn't understand what I meant after going over what I said a couple more times. To make it simple and for her and scared she would cut all my hair off, I told her to just do a regular straight haircut. I did not get it blow-dried because I do not like to use heat on my hair to prevent damage. She told me that I should come back and she can do my layers next time. It was $30 (without tip) so I thought, why not. Last weekend, I needed a haircut before a wedding I was going to the next day and decided to make an appointment at this salon, deciding to give the stylist another shot. I wish I had just gone somewhere else. To start off, I got there a couple minutes after my appointment time but she was cutting another worker's hair. I checked in and one of the women told the stylist I was there. I heard the worker in the chair telling the stylist that her appointment was there but she dismissed her saying that it's fine and continued to do her co-workers' hair. I proceeded to wait in the chair for an additional 10 minutes. When she was done she washed my hair while talking to another customer in Arabic. She was not wearing a mask, which is fine if she's vaccinated, but she was talking over me and the customer was so close that her clothes brushed against my leg multiple times. I told her that I wanted layers and that I still wanted it cut 1-inch off the longest part of my hair. She cut at least 2 inches off the longest part of my hair, making it very short and not what I asked for. It was extremely upsetting. I decided to get my hair blow-dried since I had a wedding the next day. After she was done I got up and she asked me if I liked it, I told her it's too short. She dismissed what I said and proceeded to charge me $65 for it! This was very upsetting since she cut it much shorter than I asked for AND I was not made aware that it was an additional $35 for her to simply blow dry my hair. Every time I get a haircut, the blow-dry is always included in the price. This salon is definitely not worth the price for the service I go. I will not be coming back. read more

By far the BEST threading place in OC!! I moved here from Edison/ Woodbridge in 2012 and have been driving the hour back up north for threading after bad experiences down here. The owner is so nice and so skilled at threading, it's finally worth paying 3x more than I did back home. Her prices pretty much the same as other local spots offering threading in this area, but it's actually worth it! read more

Came in as a walk-in. I didn't catch the lady's name. She took me in the room, no sanitizer used. Her mask wasn't really on. I don't think the paper on the chair was changed. There was so much hair stuck on the chair, it sceeved me out. I felt bad and just went through with it. I felt bad not tipping, but I was not happy with my experience. read more
