Great place! Total de-stressor! Great place to work out all the tension from a stressful week!

First, this is NOT a foofoo day spa like Burke Williams.. Not even close. But, that's the beauty of it. It's a quick in and out place and you aren't paying for foofoo either. Great prices and no non sense. There is a place like this in Huntington Beach as well and it's a great type of massage spa to add to your choices. Very quite & no bright lights. The energy is very peaceful. If you want a "spa day" go to Burke Williams or Glen Ivy (which I do when I want to be pampered). But if you want to get a massage & get in & get out and carry on with the rest of your day then this is the place. As far as the negative reviews, let me say this.. if you get a deep tissue type massage, you ARE going to be sore the next day. That is part of a deep tissue massage. If you weren't aware of that, then now you know, but don't slam the company because YOU didn't know about deep tissue massages. Also, if anyone, at ANY massage facility is using too much or too little pressure, it is upon YOU to speak up. It's not their fault you didn't say anything. How in the world would they know if it was hurting you??? They have many options to choose from & again, great prices. I will be back again & again & again, as it's perfect to do during my lunch break. Oh & they give you a card where your 10th visit is free. I personally needed a place close to work where I can run in & have my neck & shoulders worked on. This place is PERFECT! read more

First time here, I usually go to a massage place in Rowland Heights called Massage on Colima. But this place isn't that bad since I've heard good things about this spot! An hour massage for $20 - can't really complain about that! read more

Wow! Is all we can say. I have brought my best friend , dad and boyfriend ! We all love it and are soo shocked by the prices , they are unbelievably good no question about it , we are coming back again and again. Thank you spa ritz ! read more

You can't beat the price I felt guilty because they work on you for an hour and only get 20 dollars so I tip them 20, and that is still cheaper than most other places. they are very good at what they do, friendly and professional. :-) read more

Great massages for a great price. I come here when I want to relax and fall asleep for an hour and forget the world. The place is quite relaxing with soft music playing in the background. I recently came for a couples massage and everything was perfect. My husband got the hot stone massage and loved it. I didn't even know they offered this service. I got the 45 minute foot massage and 15 minute upper body. Great local spot in la Verne. Check them out! If you buy 10 massages you get 1 free. Just ask them for a sign card when you check out :) read more

Decided to try this out last minute yesterday. I was a little iffy after reading the previous reviews but this place is AMAZING!! Great ambiance, wonderful massage! I actually fell asleep. Would definitely recommend to everyone. read more

My favorite $20 massage place. Really great deal for the money. I always call and make an appointment before I leave the house and they almost always can take me. read more

My daughter and I had evening sessions done, and firstly, did not receive the type of session we thought we had chosen. We had male Therapists who did not introduce themselves. The first portion was fine. Halfway through we were told to turn over. Then we were told to remove our shirts. We hadn't requested the combo with an oil massage and were taken by surprise. My daughters Massage Therapist didn't speak English well, grabbed her shirt and literally pulled it off over her head. She was wearing nothing underneath and was mortified, though facing downwards. I could still see her breasts! I was 'assisted' out of my shirt as well. It is a small space, and there was absolutely NO attempt whatsoever for privacy when undressing in a public space! My bra was unclasped and my arms pulled from the straps. I was extremely uncomfortable with the situation, but there was no feeling of ill intent so we went with it. What followed was a back massage that was excessively heavy handed and painful. My daughter and I both agreed it felt more like an attack! A request to lighten up went unheeded. Both my daughter and I have discomfort, bruising, tenderness and inflammation. Upon leaving, I felt obligated to tip, and that I wasn't able to effectively complain about our sessions. I will absolutely never return to Spa Ritz. It was a horrible experience. read more

I had the $20 special - one hour chair massage. It was pretty good, but I think I was spoiled by the first place I went (they had a nicer atmosphere and give you hot tea after), but you can't beat $20 for an hour. And really, come on now, give a girl a warning before massaging the butt - HELLO! But over all, in a pinch, I would go here again, but I don't think that I would make a trip to this one specifically. read more

I come here about once a month $20 for an hour massage is fantastic. My only thing that I wish could be enplimented would be for the smoking employees to spray something on and wash their hands really well so I don't smell your smoker hands. But, I get what I pay for. read more

Came here for the first time today August 14, 2016. I received the $40 full body massage and it was absolutely amazing. I believe the woman's name was CC who did my massage and let me tell you I have never had a better massage in my life. This woman knew what she was doing. I will certainly come back to this establishment again. read more

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Located in La Verne, a nice little shopping centrer. You walk in and at first you may be a lil thrown off bc its not your usual behind closed doors in your own private room massage. But thats ok. You select your massge-all excellent, and they restore your body-fully clothed-right then and there. Service is great-prices are excellent, and you really do feel better. Feel free to bring your headphones and just tune out. Great hours too, 10am-10pm, i think 7 days a week. Its a lil luxury for a small budget. This was my first time going to a place like this, and since, I have visited many times. I love it! read more

This is my favorite place! Or one of them. The chairs are very comfy, I still think a table is the best for a good massage, but you cannot go wrong for the price. It is far the best deal in town (and within a 20 mile radius). I tried the deep tissue (table) massage and felt every knot just melt away...they're GOOD! You know the services are awesome when you hear people snoring lol read more

I've got to agree with most everyone here, that Spa Ritz is good middle-of-the-road massage experience. I miss Anna who really went to town on those knots like a honey-badger, alas she no longer works there...I have had 4-5 good experiences with the therapists, both male and female. I especially like their "can-do" attitude and diligence to the task. It is a bit of a public affair though, with the seating and creaking going on all around. I usually opt for a 2 hour table session, and be prepared to be "mounted" for the Shiatsu and Acupressure components. It's not weird (unless you don't expect it, which is why I mention it here) but totally in line with asian massage standards. From a therapeutic standpoint, it is good body mechanics for the therapist to use their whole body too. As a therapist myself, the core of the experience for me is the INTENT, and most times I get good intent here, albeit sometimes rushed or compressed -I prefer to stretch out and sink in to the experience which costs more, no doubt. Spa Ritz is great if you decide on the drive home you need a tun-up and you don't have to worry most times about an appointment, but you may not get a preferred therapist if you don't. Please tip generously as this is a real value and these folks work hard... Namaste! read more

It's all about who you get and lately, the people haven't been very good at massage. Squeezing and rubbing doesn't make a massage! It's like they're aiming to live out the phrase, "you get what you pay for." Message received. Cheap massages are just cheap and unsatisfying. The next time I need a massage, I'm not paying for it here. read more

They accommodated my walk-in, and it was a GREAT massage for twenty bucks. They kept the environment super quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I liked the oils they used. The massage was comparable to a deep tissue, and was very relaxing. Can't wait to go back... And did I mention it was only $20? For ten dollars more, you can have a private room, with more of a focus on the back. I don't feel I even needed that, as plenty of attention was given to my back! read more

Fantastic place. I did the 20 minute back and 20 minute foot massage with Kelly and will be a regular customer from now on.

My mom, Grandma and I have been coming here for years. Spa Ritz is the best massage place around. $20 for an hour massage is an amazing deal. Everyone that I have had is great but She She is my favorite masseuse. They take their time and it never feels rushed. Very relaxing environment. We come here at least once a month!! read more

Showed up last minute and they provided my boyfriend and I with great service. It was exactly what my body needed after a 12 hour shift!!! Great prices. Clean, relaxing, polite, and calm. Best $20 I've ever spent. read more

Here's my deal with all foot massages. If you won't take someone at 9:30 or 9:45, then you should indicate that you close at 9 or whatever. I understand it takes an hour for a massage; but when I think you're open until 10 it should be you're open until 10. Here's what I mean. I walked into a restaurant the other day at 9:50PM and they close at 10. It's obviously going to take more than 10 minutes to eat and order etc. When they say they close at 10. They take their last customer at 10. Could you imagine if someone drive far to get to this location only to find out they can't get a massage. Not only are they not relaxed they're frustrated. So, if you close at 10... CLOSE AT 10. Not earlier. read more

This is my fifth time here and I've never had a bad massage. It's a great bargain and a clean and relaxing environment.

This place is fantastic. My husband I came from San Diego visiting family and we came upon here. There is no words on how great it was. The amount of time they out in to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. The place is calming with the light dimmed and soft music playing. The people who work on so nice and pleasant and very welcoming. I will definitely be coming here and bring in not just friends but family member as well. I am so happy we found this place. read more

I have been going here every sat after work for a long time. I'm a pet groomer so I stand alllllll day. After work my legs feet and shoulders hurt. For a while I was disappointed since I have medical problems that leave parts of my body sensitive to touch. However after the rest of my employees continued to go I continued to try new people til I finally found the right one. It may take a min to actually find the one who works for your body but once u do u will be addicted! They are always friendly here and willing to adjust whatever is needed to make your experience the best possible:-) I recommend them to my friends whenever the opportunity allows. For 20.00 they sure do keep me happy! read more

The ambiance is good. They keep the place quiet for more relaxing massage. I like Tony best because he takes his time massaging and gives me the suitable pressure of massage that I need. read more

I have been getting foot massages for about 5 years. They have always raged from $15.00 to $20.00. I'm making this statement as a basis for my review. Since I've been to many places, I'm comparing this spa to others. Many which are in the Temple City, Rosemead and Monterey Park areas as well as another in La Verne. Pros: Good price, clean, average massage. Cons: (1) Noisy:, they left the door open, you could hear the traffic from Foothill (speeding cars & some honking) as well as from the parking lot. At least one employee wore hard sole shoes that made a lot of noise as they walked back and forth on the wooden floor. Employees went in and out of back rooms closing doors very hard. When employees moved the stools they sat on, they scrapped the floor. Semi sheer privacy curtains were rolled back and forth making noise from the tracks. Customers were allowed to talk in normal/loud voices, disturbing the restfulness I was looking for. A cell phone was ringing and an appointment was made, don't know if it was the receptionist or a customer. It was hard to relax with so much going on. (2) The massage itself was ok but, the water for socking the feet was less than lukewarm, I did not see them add( nor did I fee)l any bath salts to the water. Much of the massage was done without using massage oil or lotions, so it was a bit rough. When lotion was used, it was pretty cold. I hope management see this, because small changes can drastically improved the ambiance which I feel is important in massage therapy. read more

Amazing place! The foot massage was awesome. The price was affordable. Will totally go back!

I go regularly for the $20 spa special: 1 hour, fully clothed, and they really get the job done!!!! Buy 10 and you get a free hour-long foot massage! Every masseuse I have worked with has been great. The owner is very nice and keeps his appointments. My mom goes to Charlie for the $40 full body massage and he does an amazing job. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone who needs a massage that is affordable and effective! read more

Came here with a friend today who claims that this is one of the hidden treasures of Claremont and we was right it was a great massage for the price and location. Thought I would have liked if before the message I was asked how much pressure I would have liked and if more lotion was used. Overall a great experience! read more

If you have $20 and an hour I recommend you head straight here! Amazing place. I always get an amazing massage, and leave there feeling amazing. The price is unbeatable but the service is even more of a reason to keep coming back. read more

Tony is the best!! He gives the perfect amount of pressure. Everyone is very nice and attentive.

My favorite $20 for one hour massage place around... and trust me I have been to over 15+ of these types.... always reliable always fast always a great experience ! read more

Massage chairs never satisfied me, so I tried Spa Ritz. Actually it was years ago when I tried it. It was so great, I have gone back more than a handful of times! The staff at spa ritz are the most polite workers I have ever met. If you want a massage to be harder then you just let them know and vice versa. The price is the best part!! It's only $20 for one full hour! This deal is called the foot massage, but you get everything massaged. They do 30 minutes on your feet, then 30 minutes back, arms, shoulders, and head! Many people worry about being touched inappropriate and that is not the case. They have towels that go over you fully clothed as well. It is definitely worth your $20!! read more

My daughter and I visited the Spa Ritz - my massage was good, my daughter did not like hers - she said it was "too light" Since it was not easy to communicate - we had no other choice. When we were done, I dug in my wallet and handed them the amount due. My daughter was going to pay the tip so she was getting that cash out when the woman at the counter said, 'where is the tip? We have a mandatory $5.00/each tip!" We were so shocked, I said, you should post the mandatory tip at the front door. Needless to say, we gave them their mandatory tip (we were going to give more but to be TOLD a mandatory tip stopped us from that). We have never gone back and never will. I found them to be rude. read more

Just hit this place with my daughter, super happy with results and price! It's not Glen Ivy, but it's well worth the money. I recommend the foot/body massage special. read more

Front desk was not happy with my 25% tip, he told me that was not enough, I think that was very rude, I told him tip is not mandatory in this country. read more

My mother and I have been introduced by my friend. The first time I feel good, we do 30 minutes of shoulder and back 30 minutes of foot and body, as long as $30 has free hot oil and hot stone, we will come back. read more

You get what you pay for, I guess! Last night I took two of my granddaughters with me to have an hour massage. I was so disappointed! The "massage therapist" kept answering not only the business phone but his personal cell phone during my "personal" hour massage. He also kept yawning and talking to someone else. He rushed through my massage and suddenly someone else took over for him. The massage was rushed and very uncomfortable for me. I asked my granddaughters how was their massage and they responded okay. I left their "massage therapist" a tip, however I did not tip mine. While I was approaching my car, someone followed me out demanding I leave a minimum of $10.00 tip for each massage! I explained to him why I did not leave a great tip. They did not deserve it. He said they work hard and he said I should pay up! I told him he should get another job if his work is so hard! That's the last time I will ever go there for a massage! I'd rather spend my money for a "professional" massage therapist! read more

The flexible schedule and the price was great. But you get what you pay for...a cheap, methodical massage. I'd rather pay more for quality and some partitions to provide separation between clients. At one point, I had one of the other massage therapist sitting on the bed I was lying down on b/c the tables are so close together! read more

Great massage and price -- worth every penny and worth a big tip. Peaceful despite being in a room with others. This is actually a better quality massage than more costly places. Go! Run there now! Remember your cost. It's not a $100 massage, but it's effects on your body will feel amazing. read more
