The staff is where this place shines. Every single person we interacted with was kind, genuine, and attentive in a way that felt personal rather than scripted. The relaxation room set a great tone with complimentary tea and a lovely granola offering. Our therapists paid close attention to our needs throughout the 60 minutes, and the massage itself was exactly what an anniversary afternoon should be. To top it off, they surprised us with glasses of prosecco as we said our goodbyes. My only critique here was the locker room. Compared to other luxury spa experiences, the locker area felt noticeably small including the lockers themselves. The amenity offerings were quite basic -- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a nail kit, and spray deodorant. Missing were the details that elevate a spa stay: shave kits, body lotion, face/hair products and toothbrush/toothpaste. For a property at this level, these extras matter. I absolutely loved my experience at the Pendry Spa. I really liked the smaller, boutique atmosphere -- it felt modern, quiet, and more intimate than a large resort spa. The highlight of my visit was Alicia, my massage therapist -- OMG, AMAZING! I booked a deep tissue massage, and from the moment I walked into the treatment room, she was incredibly attentive. The first thing she asked was whether the room temperature was comfortable, which I deeply appreciated because I usually run cold. Such a small detail, but it immediately made me feel taken care of. We did a quick consultation about my problem areas, and once we started, the massage was just amazing. Alicia was so attentive throughout and really focused on what I needed. Definitely ask for Alicia if you book a massage! She was truly the highlight of my experience. The massage bed is also heated, which was wonderful. And one of my favorite little touches was that about five minutes before the massage ends, they raise the bed to about a 45-degree angle. So you aren't completely flat until the very last second and then suddenly expected to sit up. It's such a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. The spa itself has a steam room, showers, and a relaxing lounge area. They also provide complimentary tea and Pendry gluten-free granola, which was a nice touch while relaxing before or after the treatment. The pool is a separate highlight. Spa guests have access to the beautiful 3rd-floor pool deck, which is also available to hotel guests. We weren't staying at the hotel -- we were there specifically for the spa -- so it was a nice bonus to be able to enjoy the pool area as part of our spa visit. I am giving 4 stars for the overall experience, as there is no sauna on site, and parking is expensive/tricky. You get to use the swimming pool at the hotel. The staff at the pool were nice, but the chairs were way too close together. It's like going through an obstacle course to get around the pool area. I loved the spa itself though. I made an appointment over the phone and headed over. They have a nice outdoor area to relax in and a small room with snacks and drinks (tea and water). I had the Pendry massage with Selah. She gave me such a great massage I am going to definitely book a longer one next time! Great pressure, amazing technique, and great energy! This was exactly what I needed. We really enjoyed ourselves! It was the "cherry on top" of our little weekend getaway. The facility was very clean. My massage therapist's name was Delilah. She did an excellent job! She worked through my stressed neck and shoulders and did a little deep tissue work. Strong hands is what I like, and Delilah did a superb job! My husband got his massage from Vanessa (I believe was her name.) Both therapists were friendly, informative and skilled. Spa Pendry offered different teas to target specific needs. They also offered gem water and homemade granola mix. They have steam rooms, a meditation room, and a lovely outdoor seating area. We enjoyed the anti-gravity chairs, although only one out of the two was working that day. We also enjoyed the pool area for the day. Our hotel didn't have a pool, so we appreciated spending the day lounging poolside. We ordered drinks & appetizers - all good! Overall, the staff members were very attentive and accommodating. It was overall a pretty good experience, however I was expecting the amenities to be a little bit more upscale especially with the price tag. Both of our massages were extremely relaxing. The steam room was nice, but my wife said that the steam room in the women's locker rooms wasn't working for about the first 2 hours that we were there so that was a bummer. It was pretty sweet that you get pool access. There wasn't that much co-ed space but that is to be expected. I would definitely come back for another massage but probably don't need too much time with the amenities since there isn't that much to take advantage of. read more

This place is gorgeous and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I got the Repose massage which is a wonderful blend of styles. Abi was my masseuse and was very friendly, sweet, and sensitive to my needs. The women's locker room was very clean and the decor was stylish and really luxurious. The steam room is eucalyptus and really opens up the lungs while relaxing the muscles. They have a lot of nice amenities that I couldn't make full use of due to time. Do go early and take advantage of the pool, gym, and lounging areas. Snuggled in a cozy soft robe I just melted on the couches. The slippers were the type with bumps that massage your feet. The massage was perfect in pressure for me and including some stretching too which was great. The sheets are silky soft and the massage table too so it was easy to get lost in the massage (except I talked to Abi the whole time because she was so nice I couldn't shut up). Overall it was one of the best massages I can remember, and I love massages! The price for the massage was $186, which given the quality of the massage and the spa altogether is well worth it. The only thing lacking was plunge pools, but since you can use the pool and gym and there are multiple areas to lounge it's totally fine. If you want to pamper yourself, try it out! I don't go to spas often and was lucky to have the opportunity to come here thanks to Yelp! From the moment the elevator doors open to the top floor, I felt at ease. Everything from the mute neutral colors to the yoga voices Gabriella who showed me around and Coco my aesthetician. I chose their skin brightening and anti wrinkle facial. Coco used cleansers, detox lotions, black clay face masks and various serums and left me with a beautiful glowing face. This isn't for someone with sensitive skin. I did feel some slight tingling sensations, this is definitely a result driven facial. At the same time very relaxing. I fell asleep twice: I know because I woke myself up snoring. They offered many different kinds of tea in the meditation room. After my facial, I headed to the pool to enjoy my tea. You also have access to their gym, but I didn't have enough time to. Covid #46 review Wow! What a nice lady I spoke to on the phone. She was very personal and polite but also professional. I totally just forgot her name! But the person manning the phone who took my reservation today. (Spa managers take note! Maybe she was the manager? Who knows?) With all the covid changes, she explained them all so that I wouldn't have any surprises when I arrive; it still was relatable --- not like fakey sweet; you know what I mean? --- and I booked an appointment. I had tried this spa out with 3 of my sisters on my birthday a bit ago, thanks to YELP elite events. Otherwise I'd probably not have known this spa was here, now that I'm looking for a place to get some stress reduction. I can't wait! +++ Update: My vacation week was kicked off with a Signature Massage from Spa Pendry with Michelle. I didnt realize just how much I needed a massage until it began. My shoulders were so tense, poor Michelle did whatever she could to help me and honestly, I noticed such a difference, that I rescheduled a massage for 4 days later, to try to help get the muscles loosed up. She did such a great job with being not only therapeutic in treating my tense shoulder but also still staying spa likeby keeping it relaxing as well. You need to wear a mask while you are on the table, so at first it's weird and hard to breath, but it made me breath very deep and slowly to make sure it happened. So during covid, no steam room, but since they have so many outdoor areas all the massages are outside in the alcoves where the outside lounge used to be and it works out perfectly. The water comes in water bottles and the granola is already meted out into little cups and the great tea is still available you just can't serve it yourself, they get it for you. I LOVED their tea with the lavender sugar! The ladies at the front desk were kind too. Shereee checked me in and even she was very calming. they have these grounding chairs that are antigravity and they inspired me to go walk on the beach this week. Overall if you really need a relief from stress, this is your place. You can also go hang out around the pool and grab a bite to eat before or after the spa. PS Parking is hit and miss, I had to drive around for awhile to find street parking and then I had to keep going down to feed the meter... or you can valet for a cost. read more

The royal TREAT.ment I've had many kinds of massages in my life. Regular massages, deep tissue massages, thai massages, significant other back, head, and other body parts massages... and all good massages are welcomed! Even fancy hotel spa massages. The Spa is on the same level as the pool, it has its own check-in area, outside patio, and several private rooms for the massage. I was shown to the women's area to leave my belongings in a locker space, dress naked in a white robe, and use the Eucalyptus steam room before the massage. That Eucalyptus steam room was like no steam room I've ever been too. It was super steamy I could barely see through it as if I was walking through a cloud. The smell of fresh eucalyptus was very very light. Probably one of the best steam rooms I've ever sat in. My pores thank you! INDIGO SEA RESTORATIVE MASSAGE - The Indigo Sea Restorative Massage, inspired by the ocean, uses algae extracts harvested from the world's purest waters in Patagonia and heated, hand-carved salt stones from the Himalayas. Stimulation of specific meridians on the body allow for improved sleep, reduced inflammation and a lasting sense of well-being. This was perfect for me, I love how my skin feels after dipping in the ocean so I can only imagine what it will feel like after this massage. WOW. I never had a hot stone massage and knew I was in for a good one. I laid undressed on this tilted massage bed in a dark room filled with white decor. Light music playing to set the mood. My mesuse came in and for over an hour I was in a state of oasis. I received a full body massage from the head to the tip of my toes. She gave me decent amount of pressure in the areas that were much needed and she gracefully worked her way from upper to lower body. I know I may be petite and fragile looking but I would have loved more pressure. She was the good mesuse that worked almost every inch of the body excluding the private parts yet close enough without feeling violated. The best part was the hot stones; you can feel the grit from the salt that at the same time exfoliates the skin. It was SO relaxing. When my time was up, my body and skin was feeling super rejuvenated. My skin was silky smooth and soft like a candle. Afterwards, I spent time (in my robe and slippers) in a cabana by the poolside sitting on a beverage soaking up the sun. If this is what a rich and famous person does all day, I sure felt like I was rich and famous for that moment in time. Definitely the royal treat.ment. Amazing!!!! My best friend was in town visiting me and we decided to have a cute girls spa day. I made a duo reservation for her and I. That includes a hour massage as well as access to the pool and spa all day long. The massage therapists were amazing they used warm Himalayan salt oils and it was so relaxing and worth every penny. The massage was $155 for 1 hour and they add gratuity to the total making it $188. I didn't like how the massage therapist only gets 80% of the tip. They said the spa gets 20%. They deserve the entire tip! The spa was beautiful! They had an indoor lounge area with tea, water and granola available. There is also a zen outdoor lounge with pretty plants and furniture. The locker room was so nice! And they give you these super comfy robes and sandals to wear. read more

My lady and I treated ourselves to the classic "Pendry Massages" during our stay last week. An absolutely stellar experience, top to bottom. First, the facilities are beautiful and relaxing. It is a true sanctuary; the stress flows out of your body immediately upon entering the spa. We both did the hour massage, and they were excellent. Loved it! My sister and I had a spa day for her birthday and it was delicious... The staff was very friendly and nice. The facilities were very nice. The locker room changing area was a little small, and there is only one counter to get ready after your shower, but if you are the only person there or you are there with a friend, it's perfectly fine. I am a big girl, so the XXL robe barley fit, so plan accordingly if you are my size. The good thing is that they have a private women lounge, so it didn't matter if I was showing a little more on top. While we waited for our treatment, we had some delicious tea prepared for us. They had a very nice selection of teas. On to the massages. We both got the standard 60 minute massage. I regret not getting the 90 minute massage. The massage room was very nice, the massages were amazing... and I wish I remembered the name of the two lovely girls that took care of us. I was so relaxed after. I had not realized how much I needed a massage. After, we went in to the eucalyptus steam room. I can't stand being in a steam room, but I think the eucalyptus made a difference and made it tolerable. Make time for the steam room for sure. Afterwards, we took showers and my favorite part was their products. They all smelled so good!!! I am in love with their hand wash. The products always make the spa experience that much more luxurious. To top everything off, after we were done getting ready there was a cute birthday treat for my sister. It was so thoughtful!!! I don't know if the lovely Heather La Rue, with whom we made our hotel reservation had anything to do with it, but she made our hotel stay amazing, so I would not doubt she had something to do with it.
