I walked into this massage place randomly during my trip, and Linda was my massage therapist. I booked a 90-minute shiatsu massage with hot stones, and the whole experience was amazing. She was incredible--she found all the right spots and even pointed out areas of tension I've struggled with for a long time but could never clearly identify. Husband treated me to a couples massage for my birthday. There were reservations placed and we were showed to our room a few minutes after checking in. The room space is small and there is not much to it. A little difficult to feel fully relaxed. The two ladies that did our massage were very polite but were also the only staff working. This meant that the women doing my massage stepped away 3 different times to answer phones and help other customers waiting in the lobby. I came here in July and the massage was mediocre. I was passing the business today and asked to use the restroom. The lady told me no. My husband said she's 8 months pregnant can she just go? I started to walk in and the lady followed me. I was looking for the bathroom and she ran ahead of me and closed the door and grabbed my arm and escorted me out. Not friendly at all. BEWARE! If you decide to go verify they're not overcharging you and be prepared for them to basically force you to include a tip. I texted them and asked if I could come in today and informed them that I was interested in a 60MIN massage. I got there at 5pm, the massage was great, and when it was time to pay they were charging me $115 and she pointed a the sign that stated 90min. I told the lady, "No, I texted and asked for the 60min." The lady tried lowering the price to $100. And again I told her "No, the 60min massage is $85." She ended up charging me $87, I was like fine whatever. When I was about to pay she basically forced me to add a tip, she insisted on me adding a tip. Once again I told her no bc I was going to give it in cash. Basically this ruined the overall experience. It's not my fault that they don't know how to communicate amongst each other and I shouldn't be paying more for their mistake. Also, I get that tips provide financial support and all that. But someone should really teach them that TIPS ARE OPTIONAL AND NOT REQUIRED. read more

My mom and I came for a mother daughter massage! They were very accommodating when making the appointment that day prior and had availability! We were running a few minutes late due to not being able to find parking but I would also like to note that parking can be very busy, especially on the weekends and I recommend getting there with enough time to find parking. I got there with 20 minutes and still had to pay the $25 parking fee to park in the parking structure. As for the service, it got the job done but I was unable to fully relax. We were a few minutes late but when we arrived it just felt a bit rushed, again not their fault. The massage was good and my mom and I enjoyed it which is all that matters. I know construction is out of their control. However, there was just so much noise that you could even hear from the massage room and unfortunately the lady who did my massage was chewing gum which isn't the most relaxing sound. If you are looking for a solid massage and not necessarily the relaxing aspect this may be the place for you. I will say the ladies that work there were all very friendly! read more

We tipped $20 for each of our masseuses. So it was far more than the cash we had brought and prepared to pay. It was a good massage but nothing on my face or chest. We paid less for our last massage. Hubby & I had a 90 min couples massage today with the hot stones...because we deserved a little pampering. We both agreed it was one of the best massages we've had in a while. Linda & Cindy were very sweet and professional. The few times they needed to speak to each other they whispered and kept it short. They spoke in broken English but we didn't have a problem understanding them. The pressure was perfect or adjusted as we asked. They hit the areas we wanted to focus on and also found all those pesky "bubbles" in my back. The hot stones are a definite must and they even mixed in some pressure point voodoo magic. It's not a glamorous, all encompassing spa with a bougie waiting area but you're not paying the price of the Del either. It's clean, staff was friendly, and the price was amazing. Have been traveling a lot recently and it was so great to encounter Lavender Spa. The staff here were so nice and the actual massage was just what we needed. It's affordable and even though the building is under construction, you can't even notice the distraction or noise because the massage therapists here were really good at what they do. Needed a last minute massage appointment and checked the reviews for Lavender and there were many happy customers and I liked that every couple who has come here both had a positive experiences. So off we went! One of us got a sports deep tissue massage while the other got a foot and leg massage with a add on of hot stones. This was by far the best foot and leg massage I ever got. The hour long massage also had some accupressure mixed in and the the hot stones were applied around pressure points and joint areas as well. My partners said the deep tissue massage given to him had the right amount of pressure and he felt really relaxed and rejuvenated. Space is clean and simply decorated. Location of good but parking is a bit of a hassle depending on the time of day. We will definitely be back when in the area again! read more

If you want to know the fastest way to stress a person after a 90min Mother's Day massage... tell them their tip isn't good enough and ask for more money. I had a wonderful massage until the end of it. Ick. If you charge X for a service and X has been paid, ANYTHING given over that you simply respond with thank you. For the record, I gave her $20, which is over 20%. Google: "The general guideline in 2024. As with other services, the average tip for a massage is 15-20% of the total cost. My husband and I love getting Thai massages. Been wanting to check this place out. Our masseuses were lily and summer. I'm not sure who had who. My husband masseuse asked if it's ok to walk on his back. I should've chimed in and confirmed that mine would walk on my back as well. Needless to say mine did not. I was a little disappointed, however, I did ask for mine to focus on my back and shoulders. Which she did a great job of taking out my knots. We did the one hour deep tissue. Prices were affordable. We were also able to get street parking for free but there's also a parking garage as the location is located on a busy street in Coronado where free street parking is usually all taken up. We are also used to the masseuses stretching us out in different positions, which both my husband and I did not receive. I would however give this place a try again as it is affordable and I did get a good massage. They do offer add ons like hot stone but we declined this time. They're open late night even on weekdays. We were able to get in a same day appointment. When I called to check availability, instead of answering the phone, someone texted me after my call to schedule the appt. Bring cash if you want to avoid a card fee. Don't forget to tip! read more
