Even when Top Nails opened up their second location, I followed Tracy because she very good at mani and pedi's. I always got dip powder and a regular pedi and she never disappointed me. Always kind and professional, the employees always refer to you as "my dear". I never had any issues with Tracy or others, I wish that I could've packed them up and brought them to the States lol. The new location at 500 bank street is clean and quiet - whether a day of self-care or a long work day anyone would appreciate that type of ambiance. The service is always friendly, courteous, and professional. I have never had a bad experience here and I've been coming since it's soft opening in December, 2016. Sis2 has the widest range of nail polish colors I have seen in any salon. They use a fabulous Asian brand and a terrific technique to remove shellac polish. I typically come for the nail services, but I have had a massage as well. It was quite good. You cannot beat this place for it's convenient location and hours, and the prices are excellent. I will never go to any other salon in Ottawa.

I wish I could give them a stronger review as I have been going to this nail spot for over a year…read more However, as a long standing customer, I would expect to have a constant nail tech. They bounce me around from one nail tech to another, and they do not all the same level of experience. My most recent experience might have been my last, I received a gel overlay with Shellac and usually it is no issue getting in and out in an hour. Since the tech took longer than expected to remove the last colour and shape my nails, she wasnt able to give me a proper gel overlay since I had to be out in an hour and 20 min. About 20 minutes into the appointment I had to mention that I had another appointment, I thought I gave myself more than enough time (I am seasoned at getting my nails done so I expected the typical hour appointment). With the time she spent shaping my nails, I would have expected them to be better shaped but they were not straight and were not the almond shape I requested. Since we couldnt complete the gel overlay properly the shellac colour did not go on properly and it is uneven and thick. As a loyal customer, I would have expected better service and better quality.

4.5 stars out of 5 for:…read more - located in the Glebe - friendliness of staff (I had Jasmine help me out with my pedicure) - accommodating - they were able to fit us (2 ppl) without an appt & with only 20 mins heads up - this place has only been open for 8 months so the place is very clean, well lit, fully stocked up & spacious - they offer drinks here (yes, alcohol too); during our visit though, we weren't asked if we wanted to order a drink / not offered some complimentary water (hence, the 4.5 rating) - prices are reasonable for regular manicure & pedicure but if you are are looking for gel or the dipping one, those are more expensive - attentive to hygiene with use of plastic cover with each use of the foot soaker (only concern is - not sure if those plastic covers are recyclable) - overall, I would recommend this place for your mani & pedi
