I came here on Friday with my girlfriend who booked an appointment for us. I am Extremely dissatisfied with how my nails look. I walked out after paying 100 dollars for a biogel refill with design. The girl who did my nails seemed like the owner. As we walked out to pay she was talking about us in Vietnamese and little did she know but we were Vietnamese and understood what she said. She made a rude comment about my girlfriends image. Literally the worst experience. Everyone should def go somewhere else! The pictures just speak for themselves. Today I booked last min , I came to Ottawa from Toronto . I realized after the service I was over charged $80 for a shellac pedicure that was poorly done . The paint job as I looked down was not great , leakage over the sides . Worker was very professional and nice . Work for the price should be better . Also lady did my friends bio gel refill did a horrific job.. which disappointed me as I told her just come and get it done . Her 1 nail was literally cricket and going right almond shape . Looked deformed and noticeable. Also we booked and not walk in so I should be given a time . read more

First of all communication I am so so disappointed with their service. I precisely said I wanted the same colour for both my feet and hands...did not happen... instead of checking if they had the colour for bother went ahead with my toes only to realize they were out of that colour... did not get a hand message everything was done in a hurry and the young girl I had, had no personality and could not speak any English. They also charged me more then they were suppose too.From what I could understand they offered to redo my toe nails to match my hand nails today or tomorrow to which I responded no because of other commitments today and tomorrow... like why not offer a voucher for my next appointment... We were informed that the nails my friend and I wanted would be $80 (individually) however, by the time it was finished they charged us $125 each!!! This is absurd. Not only was it way over how much we were originally expecting but the nails itself were terrible. Very thick, almost like a hill and the shape of them is even worse. It's clumpy and not professional at all let alone for $125. Do not go here. read more

I was a walk-in to this cute salon for a pedicure. The salon is a bit small but that also makes it very cute as they made great use of the space. I was greeted promptly & offered some water or tea upon settling in the pedicure chair. The chairs are equipped w/ a massage system that made the experience that much more relaxing. The technician was very thorough & when I pointed out that the back of my right foot was sore from my shoes, she was very gentle around that area. Also worth noting was the great lower leg massage I got. They have a great selection of colors & design to chose from & the sample ring w/ the colors made it so that you can put it against your nails to imagine how they'd look - I haven't seen color choices effectively displayed like that before. My feet felt very soft & clean after the pedicure - thank you La Crystal Nail & Spa! I also noticed they open later than other salons & are even open for the Civic Holiday - very convenient hours. read more

This place was great! I was looking for a place near sandy hill to get acrylics and I was able to book an appointment for 45 mins After I called the store! I had a girl named Sophie and she did a wonderful job, she gave me the exact shape and length I described. It took about an hour which is normal for acrylics and it was $55 for the full set of acrylics and shellac polish on top which is very reasonable as she did a fantastic job. I'll definitely come back here when I need a refill! read more

Would give a 0 star if possible. Booked a whole afternoon of manicures and pedicures for bride, bridal party, and family months in advance. Reconfirmed multiple times with the manager in weeks prior, both over the phone and in-shop, only to arrive on the day and be told they weren't staffed to do 5 at a time as they had agreed. The girl working the desk was incredibly rude with a "not my problem" attitude blaming it on the manager who was conveniently not there. Walked out and took our business elsewhere and had a great time de-stressing from this experience. Would strongly recommend you do the same. read more

Worst manicure I ever had. Went here to relax before an interview and was a very stressful experience! I decided to do shellac unfortunately for some reason it didn't solidify under the light, she had scrape it all off and restart (didn't take the shellac risk again!). Took nearly 2h for the manicure and still charged me full price. Pretty disappointed. read more

Worse place I've ever ever been too , I normally go to the best place in the city CRAZY NAILS ... decided at the last minute to get a pedicure. Well firstly nails where filed completely uneven, that's ok I pointed it out it was filed by someone else. Then comes the so called removing dry skin from my feet , firstly they had a cheese grater and not a proper have held buffer ... never seen this ever. I completely refused then they had a few blue rock type sponge that they have in a bowl that they scrub everyone's feet with. I refused I ask to remove my dry skin with the electric buffer instead in which quality places would do, they where clueless the way it was attempted to be removed It was worse then when I came in. The end of that then they massages my feet with so much cream. As the cream is being rubbed I felt the dryness but mire cream was out on maybe to Hyde the job they did .. I left arrived home checked me feet they where worse horrible and my daughter feet the same .. I took picture sent to owner via FB she refused refused to refund me and wants to to come back , HELL NO. sorry why would I waste more time and this place is so dirty not hygiene at all ... I am booking at my regular place to redo my pedicure .. Warning to everyone they are the worse in the city and using the same pumice on everybody ... disgusting I will be posting ally feet pics and daughter to show the public.. The nails looked beautiful and they are definitely reasonably priced, but after 2 days, 2 of my acrylic nails have snapped off doing every day activities. One literally broke while o was opening the door. The girl who did mine made them very very thin and susceptible to breaking. They were nice, but not for very long. read more

Sadly, I have to knock my original rating down. I used to come here all the time, but the staff changed. The young woman who used to do my nails left and was replaced by someone who was so aggressive with my cuticles that I feared having her touch my hands. It's a shame really, because I liked this place. I doubt I will be going back though because now there are a few more options in the Byward Market that I really like. read more

I just came back from this salon and am not satisfied AT ALL. I absolutely HATE my nails. I got a refill with shellac for 50$. I do like the shape however, the tips are extremely sharp and unfinished. The shellac is good on one hand but the other hand is NOT dry AT ALL. Four of my nails are sticky. I have BUBBLES in my polish which is very annoying and looks like the woman doing them started to rush when she saw other customers walking in which made my nails look like absolute crap. She had cured the shellac and then proceeded to FILE the nail which I am not an idiot. When doing that you are essentially breaking the seal that the shellac creates so it will start to chip faster. Every time I would ask her to fix something she would get annoyed. I was just trying to be satisfied with the service that I am PAYING for. The tools were not clean either. I am so sorry to seem so negative, I just truly believe in paying for GOOD SERVICE. read more

Okay, I have no idea why this place has so many good reviews. This is the ultimate chop shop, its literally so unsanitary. The supplies that they used were literally all filthy and covered with the skin cells of other people. The sponge especially grossed me out, it was covered in nail dust from other people.I dont think they ever change their sponges. They use all the same supplies on all of their customers, its so gross. The girl didnt even change her rubber gloves in between clients. The station itself was also filthy and sticky feeling. The nails themselves are okay, i just cant get past the fact of how gross this place is. Also I went with a friend and we felt like we couldn't talk to each other because we felt like the girls doing our nails were talking trash about us. The girl doing my nails was very rude and rough on my hands. She cut my nail and it bled. She was rushing and would get frustrated anytime i asked for anything. If you dont care about cleanliness or proper customer service, I 10/10 recommend. read more

My friend and I booked an appointment for pedicures. When we arrived we were not greeted, and though we were on time we had to wait 20 extra minutes for our appointment. The service was friendly enough once we were in the massage chairs (which had a number of settings and were very comfortable). Though the pedicure itself was decent, the salon overprices their services given the quality of their work and the atmosphere of the salon. It was very hot, no air conditioning, just a single fan, and not a wide selection of high quality polish. An average experience overall for the price of what should have been higher quality! read more
